Today I went to buy two exhaust tips, That I cut with a battery powered saw at the weld seems. The cashier try to charge me $14.99 twice $33.xx something odd dollars with tax. I know I informed her that both of the tips together was less than a foot. She stated that is two separate parts. If you look at the price list exhaust tip is not a part. Therefore is charged by the foot. i.e. exhaust "per foot (on the price list). It was the little white chick that drive the wannabe Barbie Jeep - - whom use to to drive a white 2008ish suburban. My point of reference is for me to know all this I'll probably been going here a long time - to have observed. Watch how you treat loyal customers.

Great place to pick up parts for your car, if they have it in stock. Be sure to download the pick your part garage app and make a account, you can set notifications when your car becomes available. Customer service was great and prices were reasonable. Also comes with a 30 to 90 day return window. I'll be back for sure.

Maybe 3 Stars on a good day. This place is a junkyard and not an auto recycling location. Everything in the place is poorly marked as to the vehicles location. When I pointed out to Keith that a few cars weren’t even on the lot, he started arguing. He pulled up cars on his computer that were NOT on the lot proving himself wrong. The prices are okay until they add a warranty and hazardous materials fees without telling you first. Then core charges on parts like a 4wd skid plate. They have core charges on nearly everything. Core charges are meant to be charged to the customer when they are buying something that will be remanufactured. LKQ doesn’t remanufacture anything. Just be upfront and honest about the prices. Raise the prices if need be. Tacking on fees is shady. I don’t need to pay a 90 day warranty charge on a piece of interior trim. Clean up the lot daily and close the vehicles’ doors. That helps with trip hazards. It keeps a lot of water out of the cars too. The Durham location is managed much better.

Very nice inventory to choose from everything was up off the ground easy to get to and safe my only drawback is I wish I had a telephone number because I left a mat there and tried to call the individual store and couldn't get an individual number that's the only thing bad I got to say about him everybody was polite and nice and helpful go get to see me quite a bit have several cars I'm working on and maybe I'll get lucky and find my mat

Needed a quarter panel to weld onto my jeep. Found a selection of vehicles with matching body, got what I needed - even the wire harnesses and little odds and ends. Just be sure you bring all the right tools for the job. Fair prices too.

Nasty yard and a few of the employees are as well. I prefer the Durham location over the Clayton / Raleigh location. At the Clayton location their prices are on the “swag” index. Scientific Wild A$$ Guess price list. Anyhow it’s a necessary evil sometimes when you drive older cars.

This place can help you out of a bind when they have the parts that you need. But there are times when you get there and the part you want is ruined. The majority of times it is the careless selfish trash that damage the vehicle when pulling their parts. Then there are times when it is the staff. Here is a picture from their site showing a vehicle that just arrived in the yard and then here are two pictures I took when I went there four days after it was in the yard. I was trying to get the bumper. In their pic it looks like it is good shape but you can see what it really looked like. The car has no parts missing from it yet so how did the bumper get so trashed? It had to be some careless employees that moved the car into the yard. This car is very hard to find in salvage yards and they trash it needlessly. It really angers me when I'm expecting the car to be in decent shape according to their pics but when I get there it isn't because of some one that doesn't do their job properly.

Me and my son went for parts for his car. The prices were reasonable and the employees were nice. I was nervous about going because of the bad reviews. But I just told them I didn’t want the warranty and they were fine with that. I was only charged the price of a spare tire and emblem nothing extra.

Not friendly at all! I called before arriving, and they said they had the part. Once you're there, they charge you $3, and they check your bag. I did all this, and at the end, they said, " Oh, we don't have the part." I was trying to ask him a question, but he just walked away.

The people are friendly but parts pricing is out of control. When you factor in driving to the lot, finding the right car, hoping it has the right part still attached, nope, try a different car, (hopefully your car is common) then removing the part you need, getting up to the counter only to be charged 3/4 what it would cost to buy online, it's ridiculous. Charging high prices to begin with, then tacking on warranties on literally every single part, charging for each individual piece of an assembly, and core charges on silly stuff that makes no sense.

I recently made the mistake of paying a visit to this junkyard, and let me tell you, it was a colossal disappointment. As you step inside, brace yourself for the usual routine of having to break a sweat to dig out your own parts. But here's the kicker, folks. Despite cross-referencing items, they still have the nerve to demand retail prices for items that are nothing more than used, crusty, and frequently in a sorry state of disrepair. I had the unfortunate experience of picking up three trim pieces that were so caked in dirt and grime, it was like they came straight from a mud bath. And to add insult to injury, they had the audacity to present me with a bill of $45 for this sorry assortment of goods. Frankly, I could've gotten these items shipped to me for a fraction of the cost of entering this place, hunting down the car I needed, and working my tail off to wrestle the parts I needed into my possession. So, do yourself a favor and steer clear of this joint if you have even a smidgen of regard for your hard-earned money. It's not the kind of place I'd ever recommend to anyone in search of affordable, top-quality used auto parts. If I could put 0 stars I would.

The rep tells me they have 3 cars that should have the part on it but I have to pay $3. I get in a check and none of the cars have it. This is the most dumbest unprofessional business I have seen. Then he looks to see if Durham has it… why would I drive all the way there with the possibility they won’t have it.

The buyer was very friendly and helpful. The "manager" and guys at the other end, not so much. They all kept telling us to go to a trailer, acting as though we should know where it was, and all talking at the same time. There was no clear description or directions. We ended up going to the other business on the lot before being directed back to the "manager", who told us in somewhat clearer directions how to find the buyer. I hope I never have to sell a vehicle to them again!!!

I did a core return this morning. Eventhough it had been 2 weeks after purchasing the motor, since I paid with my debit card, they refund it back to your card. My money still never showed up in my account. There is no one to speak with. You have to send an email. They got paid that same day, and I should get my refund back the same day as well. Also, purchased a radiator and they would not allow me to do a warranty on it, because of an obvious repair. Unfortunately, it had a leak. Tried to exchange it, they wouldn't allow that either. Truly, one of the worst pick and pulls I've ever visited.

Staff was friendly, convenient location and up to date website matched auto descriptions of course there’s no control over how finished the car will be when you get there especially if it’s been there awhile. Lot was organized by numbers and rows so that’s helpful. Prices were good! Bought several parts for our Mazda and dodge and spent under $50 not giving 5 stars only because we didn’t find everything that we needed, which isn’t their fault of course. Will come again

This place is not well kept. Parts are everywhere. If you don't look down when walking you will trip over something and as a result many parts are damaged. The website has a price list but after you spend time taking the part of your self, they over charge you for the parts. They wanted to charge me 40 bucks for a column shifter when the website said something different. I also wanted a window regulator. They wanted to charge me for the motor separately. I've never gone to a parts store and bought a regulator separate from a window motor. I won't be back.

Way better service than Durham location. Just be aware of warranty charges added automatically, you can decline it though if you think part you getting doesn’t need it. Make sure you check their inventory online before heading there. Also some parts might be gone till you get there.

Worst place ever they wanted to sell me a cylinder head for a 1900 how is that's possible Don't go waste your time and money just order from local junk yards is cheaper and you don't have to waste your time taking parts off

Customer service is not what you go to for a junkyard- you go for the parts you need. The man who let me in was very nice all he asked was that i open my bag. with that being said, the organization, compared to others, is much better at this yard. I came in, got my window and other parts and got out. it was quite simple. Also, the man marking the stuff was very nice as well as the cashier. I asked them both about the return period and they were quick to respond that there is one. So, before you decide whether or not to come, I would take into consideration that you do not interact with the staff 99% of the time that you are in the yard. If you are interacting with the staff in the yard you may be causing a disruption and are in need of being kicked out.

Very friendly, and very helpful. There was a gentleman who mark the codes on the items that I was about to buy at the check out window. He accidentally missed a couple items but I did not realize this until I was at the car putting them in my car. So I take the items they didn't charge me for back and got in line. When the guy working at the check approached me, I explained that I was just in line and the guy failed to see these items n I was not charge for them. He looks at me after he understood that I came back to pay for them and smiled and said, thank you for your honestly. You have a good day and keep those parts as well. This truly blessed my heart. They had EVERYTHING I needed as well. Their prices are off the chain great and very affordable too. It was well worth my drive of 1hr and 30mins. I would recommend this salvage to anyone first.

The worst part of this place is the incredibly high prices. They didn't know what part I had then gave a price equal to a new part. When I said it was a new price, he threw it out the door into a dumpster and almost hit a customer. He screamed at them to watch out. It was hilariously juvenile. I would have negotiated a fair price, but his feelings were too hurt that I questioned his arbitrary price for a part that he couldn't identify. The place is a disaster. Always the same gutted cars and it is like a trash dump. Its the worst pick a part I've seen in the country. The car guys I know say I shouldn't have gone the I'm the first place.

If not, buy the guarantee now and the part turns out bad, you cannot return it, how are they going to sell you a guarantee of a part that has not even been tested, that it comes from another old car, I think it is more than a scam, charging a guarantee, I do not recommend buying

It is what it is. No guarantees and first come first pick. You can find a great deal if willing to walk the lot. I came looking for luggage rails for a Subaru Forester. Got a pair off a wreck for under $15. Cheapest online $145. Very friendly, helpful staff.

Didn't really go into the car grave yard. I just went to buy a battery. They don't charge the $3 fee for that which was really good. They have a really good battery program for 49.99$ you get a lifetime warranty to swap out as many times as you need. With tax and no core it came out to be around 67 something. 57 with a core. No matter the make or model.

The call-in automated service is the most useless. Sure, it offers you the option of the closest location to where you live. When you don't accept that option it hangs up on you. I was purposely trying to reach a different location, but obviously their system isn't flexible enough to recognize that. This is ridiculous. Oh, and btw, I already knew that my closest location didn't have the vehicle I was looking for within their inventory. What a ridiculous waste.

Overall good. If you find a vehicle that had not hit the lot yet, I STRONGLY suggest you get there 1st thing the morning of it going out on the or you can expect to see a picked over, ransacked vehicle. Beyond that, decent selection and closer than Durham for those who are off of 540/264 and neighboring areas.

I love the Durham LKQ, the staff seems much nicer. But this one after they moved it seems they have different employees or maybe management has changed because when I came 2 hours before they closed just to get a quick part they said "sorry bud were closed" and I told the young guy that it's 2 and a half hours before you guys close though. He said " oh well we felt like closing early today". But yet there were people I could clearly see still inside and yet I drove an hour just to get there through a ton of traffic also. What the hell is wrong with your staff. Please get management to straighten your employees out on when they can be open or closed and when they should not be telling paying customers to just go away or go to another business. This makes me want to do business with Wagner's instead now.
