Ordered a transmission over a week ago for my 2001 chevy suburban 2500. I paid to have them ship to the transmission shop All Transmission in sterling, and they still haven't shipped it yet. The shop needs the lift and I need my truck back.

I had a bad experience here and this was originally a 1 star review, but they made it right. They have a good selection and I was able to find everything I need, but they get a couple stars knocked off for being a little pricier than I'm used to at a junkyard and because I had to deal with the bad experience initially. Since they had what I needed and made up for my unpleasant experience, I can say that I will be back in the future.

Horrible service & don’t honor online prices! Went there to pull a mirror after I confirmed on their website they had the truck & mirror in stock- get there everything is pre-pulled with barcodes just laying inside the truck wires cut, no mounting hardware, no clips… the price was more than DOUBLE what was listed online… & when I complained the guy ripped the mirror from my hand & said you can leave- asked for my admission fee back they refused!! You’re better off on eBay…

Literally most of the parts they sell are more expensive than brand new ones (both OEM or 3rd party), your better off going to the u-pull-and-pay on colfax and zeno or the littleton u-pull-u-pay, much cheaper prices, cheaper entrance price and better car selections, this location would be a last resort or emergency choice for me only

I wouldn't recommend this yard (or their Denver yard) unless it's an absolute last resort. I've been visiting every yard in the city regularly for nearly 20 years and LKQs yards have been on a rapid decline, especially since they rebranded them to pickyourpart. The prices have jumped up dramatically and continue to rise. Their pricing is consistently 2 to 3 or more times that of other local yards. Their prices on engines and transmissions is downright ridiculous. Additionally, it is now their policy to automatically add a 90 day warranty to everything they sell. You have to know to ask them to remove it. The warranty is often an additional 33% to 50% of the price of the part. They are preying on their customers, not serving their customers. The sales model is one of greed. I recently got a transmission from them because they were the only yard I could find one in. I paid twice the price that I would have paid at other local yards. I also choose to leave the torque convertor behind because they wanted to charge me MORE than what I could get one for BRAND NEW FROM THE DEALERSHIP. I've run into this more than once with this yard as well. If I would have bought the torque convertor as well, I would have paid nearly 4 times what any other yard charges for both the transmission and the torque convertor. The current staff is condescending as well. Nothing about this (or their denver) yard is positive. Buyer beware!

I can’t give this place one star only because of their generally good selection and helpful tools. But the staff is out of pocket with their condescending attitude and the absolute scam that is from what I’ve heard the new management. You now have to pay an additional warranty fee for the already over priced nonsense they have. For me it was an extra $155 for a truck bed - a total of $755 for something the other local competitor charged only $300 for. I could buy a brand new bumper from EBay for less that what this place charges. I couldn’t justify coming here even if it was a last resort

I've been looking for a Volvo XC90 and found that one had arrived on the 27th, and it was silver! Early on the 29th my father and I were on our way. When we got there the car that had only arrived 2 days prior was completely demolished. We drove a long way to get a door, fender, and hood, all of which looked great in the picture, and maybe would not even need to be painted. Well their employees had apparently had some fun demolishing this car and it was unrecognizable to the picture they had just posted. The hood had been smashed in from the top, probably from a front loader being loaded on top of it. Both of the sides of the front had been smashed in so that is was in the shape of a boat and not a car. It wasn't this way when they photographed it, and if it had been in an accident of this proportion the airbags would have been deployed. The manager said he had had a similar complaint the day before. Guess a few guys need to be fired! What a huge disappointment to find this car and, our hopes, destroyed. We cannot find another XC90 in any junk yard in Denver with these parts.

The manager is very disrespectful They got mad cause I asked for information about a v6 engine and they give me for the 4cl then i asked them to give me the información for the v6 they didn't want to and wanted to kick me out after I had pay 5 dllrs for entrance.

$5 just for entry is getting a little ridiculous. Especially when other yards are free or $2. Part prices also going up, and you get no guarantee unless you pay a ton extra for their very limited guarantee. They also blast holes in the drain pans on everything, and usually destroy trans valve body in doing so. Even when there's a drain plug in the pan... If you can, go to U pull and pay or Colorado Auto and Parts if they have the car you need.

This isjust ridiculous. Five dollar to get in to yard. Domestic sings everywhere and all models are mixed there is no order in the yard. And literally took 40 minutes waiting line just to pat. Can this get any worse? Last time I came in. It was two dollars and a lot better. I dont know what you think guys.

This is probably one of the worse companies I've ever dealt with. They are unprofessional and customer service is horrible. I bought a transmission from them with a warranty and the service rep i dealt with severely lacks in communication skills. I had to call and email several times to get information on a warranty I paid for and the guy took no responsibility for blowing me off. I took my car to get it looked at and fixed and the transmission shop didn't want to fix my issue because of the horrible reputation LKQ has with fulfilling their warranty obligation their customers pay for. Unless it's some small part, don't waste your time or money doing business with this company.

Pretty standard for a salvaged parts yard, simple to read the listing to find what you're looking for. Very friendly and helpful staff. Miss my subie....wish you had vespa parts.

This place is a fraud. They sell the parts to you almost at the price of new and if you don't buy their warranty you can't return the part which is a joke because they sell the warranty to you at 50 percent of what the part is worth... today I threw 80 dollars at the trash in less than 5 minutes. I hope this helps customers and the same thing doesn't happen to them.

They had no number to call or say to contact anyone the office. So I drove down 70 miles in rush hour traffic to try to get a part from a vehicle they had posted a photo of online. The photo was gorgeous, showing exactly what I needed. When I got there, the vehicle was thoroughly pillaged. So I did all that driving and wasted half of my day for no reason. This business model of not being able to contact someone is absolutely horrific. I wouldn’t recommend them to anyone.

Warning. Do NOT go here!! They make money off of victims, including senior citizens, working class people who now can't get to their jobs, the poor, etc., whose cars were stolen. It could happen to you some day. They do not check VIN #'s to see if vehicles are reported stolen nor do they get proper ID of seller/thief which is why thieves go there knowing that they can literally get away with the theft because the police can't identify them. It is also extremely difficult to speak to a person when you want details about your stolen vehicle and thief identify. This is a criminal enterprise.

Fair prices and great staff. Thanks! I originally was going to give 5 stars but just saw that they forced me to add a 90 day return guarantee that cost me $100 and I didn’t want it. I read other reviews and I guess that is an add on that I didn’t have to pay for. Lesson learned. I will be back but I will watch them closer. I don’t mind fees but they need to tell you if they are optional.

This is by far the worst junkyard in the metropolitan area not only do they overcharge for their parts but they have a 90 day warranty that is a scam. I use to come here at least 4 times a week and now they will be lucky if I ever set foot in there again! I highly recommend upullandpay as the junkyard to buy from. In their website it clearly stated transmission line is $15 and when I got to the cashier I'm informed that it is sold by the foot and I'm charged $30.

This place is absolutely awesome. Kindness goes a long way. If you need help just ask nicely and they will help you with anything. Jason the manager is totally awesome guy. I was there today and told him that what I was looking for wasn’t there. He found the car at the Denver location and called an employee there and that employee went out to even double check that the car was there. Now that is customer service. I then told him that I went all the way to his place for a different car and the last wasn’t there. He asked me what is was and then told me he had the car but wasn’t inventoried yet but because it was a quick part to get he let me go out back and get the part. Now that’s was awesome Last week I was there and bought a Jeep tub and frame and assistance manager Mitchell told me that he would have fork lift driver Taco come out to the row and fork the tub and frame out for us. Taco did an awesome job and we tipped him $20. He was so happy. He even help load it onto our trailer. So asking nicely and being kind goes a long ways. Thanks everyone at LKQ for all your help

Seemed a little over priced, I didn't like how they snuck the 90 day return fee on to my bill I found out you don't have to accept that 90 day return fee. The lot seemed easy to get around. The pavement is nice but the down side is that it does make it even hotter on a hot day. The young African American cashier guy was friendly and nice to chat with, I was amazed that he knew what cars I got my parts from. He said " did you get these parts from the Black town car or the white one" he wasn't looking at a computer either, he just knew what cars were out in the yard.

I went to get a tail light cover for my Cherokee and they wanted to charge me $34 for a part that cost $28.99 brand new. Ridiculous! I went down the road to pull and pay and paid $15.36 for the same part. If you want to pay more for used parts then brand new parts go to LKQ, if not go anywhere else

The prices are brain damage astronomical. This is not a service for the people it is not a business it is a racket. These people should sell their business and Panhandle on the street. I feel this is sad as a community business that they should apologize for their unethical standards. I will never go back to this place again and I will tell others about it

It's always easy to find the cars by the inventory list and it helps you find parts that are compatible. But there's a tall older guy with gray hair that will break your parts at the check out if he thinks you can't afford them. But other than that everyone is super nice and willing to help.

Since the new owners took over. The cashiers take forever to check out. Takes longer to check out then to pull the parts. Website and store says closes at 5 pm. They lock the doors at 430 instead. They will attempt to sneak a lifetime warranty on the parts for an extra cost.

Brendon is one of the best employees they have. He’s provided nothing but phenomenal services and ive gotten parts well before we were expecting them. I ordered a transmission that was 5-6 days out from Kansas city and by a stroke of luck, it showed up the next day

Debated on giving it one star after this last visit. I've scored on previous visits but the last several times I've gone nothing but a waste of time. Hopefully they can get some better quality vehicles rotate inventory. They definitely need to label their Rows better so you can locate the vehicles easier.

Place its filthy, my brother worked on this place someone has to tell Jason the manager employees aren’t slaves. And customers pay his bills and lkq ain’t he’s company. He’s a manager who have to thanks to all clients who buy parts here so he can pay he’s Chevrolet white truck. All great guys have left this place including assistant manager as they can’t tolerate he’s delusional demands. My brother can’t stand no more how he rob all clients with double prices and quit . All guys who feel he have take advantage should call lkq corp and complain about he’s behavior. All employees don’t respect him as he’s a looser as a human and as a professional. By the way he sends employees to do he’s dirty work as he don’t have the guts to do it himself. By the way skip this junk try I pull and pay. He’s the one placing videos on google reviews . Just to let you know he ask food trucks for free food if they want to sell in the parking lot. What a looser!

Ill start by saying the employees that I’ve dealt with have always been reasonable to me and fairly polite. That’s all 3 stars. If you’re looking for parts, you better get here the day the vehicle arrives; things like door latches, tail lights, and interior plastics are usually gone or laying on the ground covered in oil by day 2 or 3. UpullnPay Denver is a much cleaner yard with better options in my opinion. I think my biggest issue here is that the prices are absurd. I just paid 30$ for a used, slightly broken tail light cover. I can buy a brand new one for that. I just figured Id come here so I could get one today, buy a used part to help out the environment a bit, and save some money. Alas no, I paid the same as new for a used one. AND thats after they discounted it and removed their warranty. IF you dont pay the up-charge for the warranty you cannot return the item. My grand total for used tail light housing with damage, and no bulbs would have been $45 with warranty for a 1990s ford pickup. Gimme a break. Glad your employees are friendly, and I like looking at old cars or this review would have been fewer stars. Ill be going to pullnpay now. Even though their website sucks.
