David (Great name and by the name an obviously great person) made the process of taking care of the Mazda that we needed to dispose of. The verification process was easy and so was the pickup. I whole heartedly recommend their services in the future. If finding parts is as easy as turning our Mazda over was, I will definitely be looking for parts for my truck!!

Daisy and David were wonderful to meet! I was able to sell my Honda to Pick Your Part for a great price and both Daisy and David were friendly, kind and straight-forward. I would recommend Pick Your Part to anyone interested in selling their vehicle for parts!

This is the cleanest junkyard I’ve ever seen. Also great prices and great customer service. If you ever need parts pulled, asked for Justin and Tyler. They both helped me pull a transmission for my Nissan, and they were extremely professional and efficient in getting the job done. Highly recommend this yard for any parts you need pulled.

Good inventory but online prices do not match the actual prices at the location for example I go online it says 45.49$ for a tire (above 19) and went there to get it and they say it cost 125$ lol might as well get a brand new tire in that case

For the love of god please turn off your perimeter security alarms. They are so loud and go off all night. There are homes and apartments all around this junkyard.

what an amazing experience! I didn’t have the tools, but they offer to take out the part! I own a Chevy volt, which is a pretty rare vehicle to be in the salvage yard so they only had one. I’m currently renting a car so the faster they can get the part to me the better! They got my parts out within an hour! Their part puller mechanic named Tyler is amazing!!!! High five to Tyler!!!!! The man at the front desk was also exttrreemllyy helpful. The experience couldn't have been much better!!!

Very horrible experience will never sell another vehicle to this place.i suffer from seizures and stress is one of my triggers selling a car is suppose to be easy.Driver came out to get vehicle signed over title, signed for check amount discussed for the vehicle he didn’t even know how to load the vehicle. Went to the bank to find out there was no funds in the check the embarrassment when the teller told me there were no funds. All in all tried to figure out with the senior plant manager Nicholas Dickens but said to call corporate which there’s no number for. What a shame taking a vehicle from a disabled person with no payment.

I didn’t ask for it, and they charge me for (core) (environmental fee) too

I recently went to LGK austin and compared to where I used to live in Maryland, the experience was like I was in auto parts store. Fron the moment I walked in to the time I walked out, the customer service was excellent. Rob at the customer counter provide me with all the information I needed to provide me with the part I needed that I couldn't pull myself. All I can say is that LGK austin! Hats off to you and your staff. I will definitely be back and continue to give my reviews...and hope they continue to be good one's!

What a joke. $50 for each taillight when in ebay you can get them for $30 NEW. Guy was looking at my parts and just saying random prices. Guy at the counter is rude and arrogant. 2 hour trip for nothing, but not like they care about customer service anyway. Cars are mostly stripped of parts, don’t waste your time here, seriously, you have better luck at Wrench-A-Part.

Got a part. It was the wrong one. Was told they would refund at the time of purchase. Now I can't even speak to anyone at the location because there is no direct line to the office. Called customer service, got nowhere. I'm out $400. Awesome! Way to screw a single mother Sketchy establishment.

As someone who has never been to a junkyard in their life, this was a really great experience! Everyone I came across there was very kind and explained how things worked. If you are totally clueless like me, here’s some info: before you even get there make sure you have all the tools you might need to get your part and bring them with you! Also, you are not allowed to bring in the broken part to compare (which is a bummer but I get it). When you first pull into the parking lot, the majority of the customer lot will be to the right. There’s a large run-down looking building to the left aaaaand that’s not where to go (the security guard explaining that to me was seriously so nice, thank you!) Anyway, you’ll want to go towards the black gate to the right of the little food/refreshment truck and there you can pay the $3 to get the wrist band. It’s either cash or card to pay this fee. They’ll ask what you’re looking for and print out a little piece of paper telling you where to find some options that might work, and hand you a map of the place. Super straightforward. Thankfully all I needed was a sun visor and I watched a YouTube video on how to replace it before I got there. I personally got the warranty and I’m glad I did because the first visor I picked didn’t work, so I was able to exchange it with a different one I found right away. I liked the whole experience but I can imagine it’s much less fun in the dead of summer. I would definitely come back with if I needed any more parts. Thank you!

I had ran something over on I-35 lastnight , not knowing or seeing what it was. It damaged my driver front chrome rim. Retail price for this rim is 319$ brand new for one! LKQ had exactly everything i was looking for. I got a PAIR of both rim and tires for a good price and in great condition! All i need to do is wash, rinse and polish the chrome. Just about the same condition as my other 3 on the vehicle. Easy to locate, just need your tools and some work to take the parts you need. Was there for about an hour tops and was my first experience with any junk yard ever. I strongly recommend them.

Read your receipt!!!! they force the warranty on you. Super deceptive practice. I got charged for a warranty for weather stripping and bolts.

I had a profoundly frustrating and humbling experience at LKQ Austin while searching for car parts. Unfortunately, I lacked the necessary tools, which made the process even more challenging. As I attempted to exit, I was stopped by an attendant, an African American gentleman, who inspected my toolbox and backpack. To my surprise, he found vehicle parts inside my toolbox that were rightfully mine. Despite this, he insisted I either leave the parts behind or purchase them. Respecting their policy, though unaware of it at the time, I chose to buy the parts instead of debating their ownership. Although I regretted not adhering to their policy, I was unable to return the parts before they closed for the day. Tomorrow, Sunday, I plan to return them to demonstrate my innocence, integrity, and honesty, as I never intended to take what wasn’t mine. So, the lesson I learned is to always familiarize myself with LKQ’s policies and procedures. Additionally, I now understand the importance of not bringing any car parts, such as small bulbs and switches, inside my toolbox.

They could not tell if they had the part, but the truck was about 100ft away. I asked if I could just walk over and set eyes on them. They said only if I pay an entry fee. Asking $149 for parts and brand new was $167. These guys live to rip people off asking high prices for very used parts. Don't care to ever go back.

Never again. I have purchased parts here for years,, before the name change as well. I was charged $260 for four items. A throttle body, a spare tire carrier, a battery, and a steering sensor. After I braved the sun to find parts, worked to pull these parts off, and paid to enter the grounds... are you kidding me! I was blown away as I needed these things immediately and had no choice but to pay (especially after I did the work of removing the items, not your employees. On top of that I literally stood in line and watched a worker pass water to everyone in line except me,, twice. I also noticed this place has stooped so low as to have bins full of things that were left inside of vehicles for sale.. prices are outrageous. No ethics here. And who why would I pay $20 to rent a wheel barrel... that's like paying Walmart to use a shopping cart... no thanks. Plus, I did not ask to pay your automatic warranty fees either. The staff knowing the yard is not a plus, they should, they work there. The staff being courteous is not a plus, they should do that any way. I have spent over $5000 in the past year on automotive parts... I priced the same items at other yards and could have saved $100... I will never, ever go back to this place. Here's a thought, how about pricing things reasonably instead of nickel and diming for every little thing. These places pay very little for these cars if they do at all then charge like the parts are brand new... The consumer is doing you a favor driving from all over to shop here, not the other way around. Just because people have money doesn't mean they want to be taken advantage of either... Never again !
