3.8 stars based on 30 reviews- FFahim Bawany
It wish can give them Zero Star, but there is no other option to get them one star, This place is full of crap, they never care about customers, I have been using other places to buy a parts, but never seen this worst what I learned from this place. Never be there anymore period.
- VVlad MH
Absolutely ridiculous how they price their parts. Example: 2007 IS had after market headlights which they priced for $536 each…. $1072 for the set. Scratched up and cracked in the back for the connections. They sell for $400-$600 for a full set brand new. LKQ pricing themselves out of the industry. Pathetically run. Don’t shop here. Victory is much better.

James was incredibly patient and understanding in helping us locate and get our parts pulled in time as we needed it urgently! I hope he does well at LKQ!

Dear lkq please work in this locations customer service and knowledge of parts pricing I was charged for a cut broken part still attached to my part Wrong pricing Wrong information regarding cores and warranty Accused of cutting the line when I moved my tools from inside to out Customer service not really attentive to what’s going on or was about to take extra change on purpose If this place want really throw the book at you when buying parts Man I feel bad for for the employees men and WOMAN who are making lkq look bad same as buying new parts after all thebs they add Literally charged me extra for a cut off tie Rod and cut off cv axle Completely not usable And not even worth that in scrap I literally was 17$ short of spending same as brand new at oreily Lkq I’d say do a audit and see why there’s so many employees in one shift maybe if it was less ppl they won’t be so money hungry and over charge I literally saw 8 employees all in the office and the yard looking like shi At victory I aiways saw employees working in and out the yard Lkq manage your money and do better prices lay-off bad employees Have terminology training Maybe a skid steer and have a employee clear rows time to time Cause they seem to be just watching tv

Very bad customer service, they talk to you with bad attitude, they take forever to answer the phone, and whenever they answer they talk to you like you're their slave, all we want is to order a part or 2, they make it sound like they giving you gold, they humiliate you over the phone. Whoever own this location need to change the people that answer the phone or teach them how to respect all customers. It was my first time calling this location and its going to be the last time.

They have an online car hunt so you can pick and find your vehicle and find out the location, and the date it was brought in. They also have several pictures of the vehicles you're looking for. No and find out exactly what your price is before you go and get your part. They don't have a lot of Half Price or specials going on I asked the gentleman at the counter and he looked at me like I was asking for the world or something. Other junk yards in the area give half price and holiday special sales quite often where they do not. Unfortunate but still it has a very good selection of great automobiles prices are somewhat Fair and it's very organized I highly recommend it

This place is horrible, I was warned that they were very rude and unpleasant before going there and I can confirm that it is true! So unprofessional. Head up for the person reading this. THEY ARE RUDE!!!
- JJay Bird
The prices are TERRIBLE every single time I go in there, it doesn’t matter the year and model. Verify the price before getting it, because it might be just a couple of dollars to buy it brand new. Example (bought a piece that was $34-40 at their junk yard and $50 brand new) Other than that, the staff is decent and they have a good amount of cars. But the parts are not worth the money they charge.
- AAdrian G
Never going there again. Expensive, messy and misleading photos of cars that are completely destroyed. I know it’s junkyard, but a car that looked like it was hit by a bus from all sides, looked very well in the photos. Made me drive there and NOTHING from the body of the car was usable. Did I mention it’s expensive!? if you charge more than others put an effort in cleaning up and updating your yard
- JJenny
It's $3 per person to get in. They accept credit/debit cards for the entrance fee and purchases. Wheel barrows are provided on first come, first serve basis for free. Tool rental available. They have great prices. The yard is pretty well organized. There is a port o john.
- GGiovany Cruz
They have the products but they wanted 2 camshafts for 400$ each...
- OOddzilla James
I am always happy to save big money on auto parts at LKQ. It also makes me feel environmentally responsible recycling these parts that would normally go to the smelter. Every part I buy here is one less brand new part that has to be produced and shipped and trucked in. Big Win in my book. Save money and save the resources. $3.00 admission on the day I was there. No open toe shoes allowed.

Good people! Every time I find what I need!! Good place
- CChristian Lhuillier
This used to be a great friendly place to get used parts in a pinch. NOT ANYMORE! The prices are outrageous. It’s less of a hassle and in many cases cheaper to just order it online. On 11-25-23 I was charged for a warranty that I specifically stated that I did not want bc the cashier was so called doing me a favor that I didn’t ask for. When I went back in to ask about the warranty the employees ganged up on me and I was verbally assaulted and threatened by an employee. When the regional manager called all he had to offer was an apology. What kind of company allows its employees to curse and threaten a customer and makes no attempt to make it right? I feel like some sort of monetary compensation is due. AVOID THIS PLACE. Lately circus has better vehicles and the pricing is WAY better.

First time here! Very nice yard. Very large selection to pick from. I found a few items on my list. Prices are not that bad. The counter guys seem to be cool. I would definitely make the 45-minute drive to check them out again. It's also cool that they give you your money back on purchases and not a store credit.
- AAshley Witry
The people who work there are pleasant but it sure would be nice to get carts that actually roll and not have all broken flat tire carts or ones that are missing handles. Be sure to bring your own cart if you want something that isn't banged up and you have to drag it up and down the aisles
- TTexas
Friendly knowledge fast service I highly recommend this location for auto parts

Another day, another scammy junkyard by LKQ. Granted, every *person* I interacted with here was pleasant - but I still got ripped off. Got a taillight off a 1999 ram truck - came with a UPC sticker pre-applied. Lamp taillights listed at 29.99 on their site. This rang up as a $45 LED taillight. I'm just going to say: the person labeling this 1999 taillight AND the cashier knew VERY WELL it was NOT an LED taillight - this is just another way they maximize profit absent integrity. I have no doubt every other late model car and truck on this lot has "upgraded" LED taillights, at least according to the price tags. Cashier also rang up a Radiator Core Support Upper Tie Bar (27.99) as an $37.49 Bumper Reinforcement Bar. You just feel so gross checking out at any LKQ. ALL THESE PEOPLE DO is look at car parts, all day, every day. They know which pieces are what, and what is similar but lists for more. Take this as a warning: KNOW YOUR PARTS, their listed prices, and BE READY to challenge the cashier and/or be ready to walk away if they keep the scam going.

Will never ever come back to this place. I had an emergency coming to this place needed a part got the wrong part would not exchange it or refund it. 100.00 completely wasted. When I walked back in to try and talk to the manager. The curly headed Hispanic boy that waited on us yesterday. Was laughing and carrying on about the mistake even though he pointed us to the car..Glad he is such an experienced person. Yet it looks as if he had not showered in a week. Very unprofessional.I went to Joliet u pull it and scrap on Washington.Much better yard and much much cheaper.
- DDany DD
Pros:Nice inventory go to their website to search for cars, The only negative is High prices on used parts almost paying like new, be ready to get duty, there is no asphalt only dirt and gravel when it rains there is to many pot holes with water, Manager needs to fix this issue.
- mmartianna high
Don’t go to this place bought a $62 alternator their not sure what was wrong with car when they get them or know if parts/alternator works & no warranty. guy told me that works there that if it doesn’t work they give me a full refund even if I dont bring the other parts I bought back my total was $229 when I told them about the part they only refunded me $62 for the cost of the part I paid $32 for worker to take off and they wouldn’t even refund that part cause why would I still pay his fees when my service was terrible refund that too
- AAlvin Noble
The shopping with this company for over three decades and never have had a problem.

CHECK YOUR RECEIPT! These guys are mildly shady and like to add a lot of extra fees on to your purchased parts. I was charged an additional $40 in fees that I did not need to pay for the truck door i bought recently. If it's not a part that can fail for example a door, do not go for the extra guarantee. I didn't know this till I got home and looked at my receipt. The door should have been about a hundred bucks with tax and core and I paid like a hundred and forty five. That's bogus and they should not be so sneaky about the pricing.
- KKatelyn Projects
Has a little bit of everything, wheelbarrows free to use after paying $3 entry fee. only complaint is the customer service. The lady at checkout was super rude and assumed we were paying a warranty on all of our items, and then got mad when we said we didn’t want the warranty? She didn’t even ask us at all? Cussing, and absolute vulgar conversations as well as bad attitudes have no place in a business! Other then that, we had a easy time finding what we needed because they inventory everything! Vehicles are mostly intact and easy to pick your part as well

On Sunday at 4pm on September 24th, 2023, I was disallowed by the LKQ PickYourPart Blue Island, IL, store staff the service of hauling my purchase and tools to my vehicle in the company's parking lot on the 4-wheeled cart supplied by the store. As I was exiting the store's lobby with my belongings, I was abruptly stopped by security and informed that no carts may leave the store's lobby. In reply, I told them I initially retrieved the cart from the parking lot and that I had no issue with returning the cart back to the store once I unloaded my belongings into my vehicle. The security guard and the store staff refused to allow me to haul my purchase to my car. They said, "That's not going to happen!" I had to carry about 95 pounds of tools and parts about 50 yards to my car in the company's parking lot without any assistance. I have a deteriorated disk in my lower back and this has hurt me dearly! I have made many purchases from LKQ over the last 15 years. This is the first time I've been treated with such disregard for the few conveniences they have always provided for do-it-yourself customers. Bottomline, this happened 4pm, an hour before the store officially closed for the day as posted on the store's website (Sunday 9am - 5pm). I recall seeing security cameras around the store which will prove my complaint. Since it's anti-productive to create hardships for customers, I must assume that the LKQ PickYourPart Blue Island, IL, store staff does not want to do their job. They would rather impose hardship restrictions on customers than to collect carts from their parking lot during business hours.

This place is a mess. People descend on cars like vultures as soon as the cars arrive leaving every one of them butchered like a chop shop. Almost every car is just a shell. Parts thrown everywhere. Just a really trashy place and they charge to get in.
- OOEM Autoparts
Do not waste your time at this junkyard. You will spend an hour pulling USED PARTS in the hot sun to pay BRAND NEW prices. The staff is not friendly and they charge a bunch of hidden fees. This place will shut down if they continue doing business this way.
- pp carr
Helpful staff and did not change me for the small pieces.
- IIndi Sinanov
I been calling times and times in vain!! The website shows stire is open but phone info is closed . All locations have same phone number but none ever pick up the phone as least to confirm either they store is open or closed and to confirm that they have a certain vehicle that shows on website!!

I've used this place for years. But I haven't been here in about 4 years. Unlike the nearby salvage yard, their cars are usually pretty much intact, and you can find your part at an affordable price. I was shocked today when the counterman told me a Sideview mirror for my car costs 45 dollars. I left and Googled prices for my mirror ranged from 11 dollars for a used mirror to the highest price I found for a new one at 80 bucks. Car parts.com had the mirror plus bracket for 25 and change and another one for 38 and change brand new. Why on earth would anyone pay more for a used item that you have to put labor in, when they can get a brand new one for less money and a used one for half the price without getting your hands dirty. I don't get it. I've sold items online and at flea markets and I always check the going rate before I price my items, so I can be sure I'm selling at reasonable prices.
