    This place is by far the worst place to get parts from it use to be more organized and the staff had respect for the customers the staff here talk to you like a dog they never have any change. They don’t accept credit card this place needs to be re-ran by a whole different company because the people that are running it right now are not professional the cashier at the gate. He is very disrespectful. I would definitely not recommend this place for anyone. I recommend for everyone to go all way in northside. It may be farther out, but at least you will get good service. It’s not even worth coming over here to try to save a couple hours in gas when you go in there and they don’t even have Need or the car is in 1000 pieces they do not upgrade the inventory in a timely manner. It’s parts scattered everywhere. They do not even clean up. The yard is more of a hazard than anything.

    I love this place. I had a great experience. This was my first time going here. There are so many cars! They had 5 of the car that I was looking for and they were in the spot indicated on the inventory list on their web site. The woman who I paid the entry fee to was professional. She told me that all 5 cars listed on the web site were in fact on their lot. When I went to check out, the male cashier had a good attitude and was professional. I got a great price on 8 light bulbs for an instrument panel and climate control bezel. Another male who verified that he could see the parts that I paid for on the invoice before leaving was professional.

It’s rare to find such excellent customer service at a salvage yard, but Jojo was professional, friendly, and extremely knowledgeable. If you ever need help, he’s the guy to ask for!     It’s been a while since coming back to this location and the entrance fee was 5 dollars. Oh well right, the issue came after we got our part. It’s advertised that you get 90 days warranty but what they don’t tell you is that it’s an additional fee. In our case it was 11 dollars more which is supposed to be optional but wasn’t informed. When I went to the counter to remove it due to knowing I wasn’t going to return said part they said they couldn’t and wouldn’t. I tried speaking to the manager and she was obnoxiously rude to me, she pointed at the sign and said you don’t read or what, which caused me to say “ alright I’ll let you have it “ just taking my loss for those 11 dollars. She then proceeds to get in my face and be disrespectful towards me, she kept babbling on getting rowdy, and then kicked me out of the facility. She was apparently offended and mentioned I was rude but by no means was I, I even apologized and tried to tell her it wasn’t that serious for her to get that worked up about it. Which in return got me kicked out. The unfortunate part is that the whole facility gives off rude. Customer service definitely isn’t their strong suit and that manager definitely needs to cool off and take some anger management classes and customer service classes. If that were my Manager I’d expect them to hold the highest level of professionalism which she didn’t. She makes this company look bad. Really wish I got her name but shes Caucasian, short, and happens to wear lashes you can use as an umbrella. I guess that says everything. I went to a different location, Wallisville to be exact and it was night and day difference. I’d avoid this place unless the car you’re looking for only happens to be here.

    I been coming to this place for the last 7 years never had a problem till yesterday I bought a part the girl charged me for 3 different parts since they were attached together when I got home I realized one of the parts was broken so I went back to exchange it the manager which had a really bad attitude saw the receipt and didn't wanted to exchange it cus she said they didn't charge me for the right parts that basically I got a way with the part that I was gonna exchange she didn't even let me take the part back she said if you want to exchange it you have to pay for it I explained it to her that it wasn't my fault if they didn't charge for it basically saying I stole the part she is something else

    I always see people say how mean and stale people are that work at the scrap yard are but Jojo is the exception. He was very helpful and welcoming. I’m very big on customer services and I 10/10 recommend. Thank you again Jojo!

    Me and my friend went there to get a side fender for his car. Upon getting in the line, a worker dumped his entire tool bag out in the middle of the line where everyone was standing. He calmly and politely told her to quit messing with his stuff and asked her why she couldn't have at least done that off to the side. The worker then refused to help us pick up his stuff. This worker only spoke Spanish. Then, a woman manager who only spoke English and didn't see any of what happened came outside and started being a jerk to us, telling us we need to stop disrespecting women and told us we needed to pick up everything that worker dumped out because she's a woman. All we did was tell the manager what happened and told her we were not being disrespectful but the manager just made assumptions, told us to stop doing stuff we didn't do, then kicked us out. Absolutely terrible management. I also scraped my car going in and coming out of that place despite going very slow. Don't waste your time at this terrible establishment. Go anywhere else.

    Horrible experience. We set an appointment for Wednesday, they missed the appointment. We rescheduled for Thursday and they still had us waiting for 3 hours. On Tuesday, In my initial call, the call rep said THEY would pay the tow and storage fee once we sign over the title and other paperwork. Then on Thursday, when it was time to move the car out, the tow truck guy said WE had to pay the storage and towing fees. We argued respectfully and decided to call the company so they can review the recorded phone call. They “reviewed” the call and said there was nothing they could do. Meanwhile, the tow truck guy LEAVES before we were even able to settle the issue. This company is trash. They do not care about the work they are doing. They are in it for the money and that’s it. You’re better off stripping the car for parts because they will lowball you.

    I paid someone to drive almost 7 hours one way and through Houston traffic to pull parts off a car listed here only to get there and the car not even be the same one listed online. They won’t ever answer the phone so you can confirm and stress the fact that their inventory is updated daily and if it’s listed on web site it’s available. BS and a total waste of 2 days travel, stress of traffic, money for gas all to be told “I’m sorry but it happens sometimes”. If I could give negative stars that’s what I’d give this sorry business.

    I bought some wheels. It didn't fit the car. But they didn't want to change them or return them because it took away their warranty. The problem is that no one told me that without a guarantee I couldn't return them not did I look at any sign or on the receipt it says. They are practically stealing $400 dollars from me and no one wants to refund my money

    I was there 3 days ago for trunk Mats. When I came to cashiers he gives me bill payment of 66.23$. On exit gate there is a guy who ask stop verify and then he says that you have to pay more. So total bill payment should be 75$+. It doesn't make sense. After that I asked for return, and cashier gives me return slip and I use my credit card payment method. Now it's 3 business days and they didn't reverse a payment. Today I call there customer support and they said that we don't have extension for connecting any person from yard. OMG it doesn't make sense. This place is very expensive with unprofessional staff The location of this yard is 12575 Hiram Clark Rd Houston TX 77045

    If I could give zero stars, I would. This place falsely advertises on their website that they have certain parts available, such as camshafts. However, after you spend two hours pulling your part and check out, they inform you that they aren't selling these parts, even though the prices are clearly listed on their website. The staff is rude and racist as well; if you are a white American, I wouldn't recommend going here, as they treat you like a lower-class citizen.

    Great inventory there and junk yards are fun. Going there was not. There’s a woman who works there who is very unfriendly. She asked me if there was a motor on the part I was buying. I didn’t hear her at first. She says again “Is there a motor on it! What am I talking to myself?!” I pay for the parts she hands me both pieces of paper and abruptly closes the window at the register. I go to leave and am told the second piece of paper is a ticket they hold on to. The gentleman who inks the parts had seen that and called her over. She then continues to be extremely argumentative and insulting. All I wanted to is buy some parts. 🤷‍♂️ I don’t care if I have to drive 2 hours to another junk yard I will because I won’t go back there.

    You just never know what Treasures you'll find and it's always an adventure...be prepared. I KNEW IT was going to be HOT this summer...but I had to do a double take, when I saw a guy wearing a tire for a sombrero to keep the heat off him like it was normal!! only at LKQ Southwest!

    I am regular costumer on this place and today they told me smoking is not alowed when I was in line for check out at 3:50 PM. I walk back on yard to finish my cigarette and person name Angela came out screeming smoking is not aloved even I was already extingush cigarette. I told her do not screem and give me atitude I didn't know and I put cigarette away. She stated no you need to leave now and you are not gonna be served. I walked out. This is not a way to treat costumers,I feel sorry for her if she use to screem on her kids or anybody at home she shoud leave that at home.Nobody is gonna screem at me!! Horrible place with horrible employees, was much better before!

    What an inconvenience this salvage yard was...I talked to an employee about a part I was having a hard time finding...The employee told me they had the part at the location available for purchase , since it's a salvage yard I understand that you have to go and get it off the salvage vehicle yourself...I was grateful to find this part and needed to fix the vehicle I was working on to keep my job and be a productive member of society... The next day was available for a friend to drive me all the way from Dickinson and we made it to the location listed...I get all my tools together and proceed to line up with other folks and look and see a list of items they won't allow in the salvage yard and immediately I have to go out some tools back in the truck...So if you plan on going here you should contact them and inquire about items not allowed...I pay my five dollars to get in and they put a bracelet on you and check your tool bags, boxes or whatever you have... I'm on the other side of the gate and wanted to use a wheelbarrow that they claim they provide but there isn't any available that are in working condition imagine that...I go to the row and number where the car is and it's there I proceed to pull the part and it takes about an hour and fifteen min. in the blistering sun and heat ... I wait in line for ten min. or so to finally get to the window where you pay for your parts... I tell the person what part I have and this person tells me they are not currently selling this part of the vehicle I have...I explain that the part was listed online for sale and that I also talked to an employee there that verified the part was for sale...The employee is telling me that I cannot purchase the part that they would have to get authorized permission from a supervisor...I go back and forth with the employee and finally they get the supervisor just to hear the same thing that it's not for sale...I thoroughly explain my complaint that it's listed online and an employee I talked to said it was there for sale... After arguing with the supervisor about fifteen minutes they go and consult with someone else to agree to sell it to me for a higher price than what was listed and agreed upon prior to pulling it...I really felt like I was manipulated at this place and they perform bad business practices, me personally I will never buy any part from this location or any of its affiliate stores... I highly recommend this parts yard if you want to waste your time and if you want to have a headache for unnecessary reasons...
