    This place has deteriorated in customer service although the outside has a new appearance. They say they offer to pull the part well let tell you about the experience I had today. They sold me a bad battery and although I used my credit card to pay they refused to exchange the battery without the receipt. This is very inconvenient & unprofessional the way they operate the outside. They had me in line for the longest time when the only question was will I need the actual receipt and after 25 mins they told me they would need it. Which it's their bad battery and they mark it. I went to the same person who was so unprofessional it was a shame. He said he needed the receipt even tho he remembered me going just 2 hours prior. This place has people going in and out that are suppose to be working to help but they only send you to go sit or wait in another line. I shouldn't have to go through none of that to verify my purchase when I used my credit card. That is ridiculous. I don't appreciate the attitudes of the females working outside they acted so tired like their job was literally so back breaking when they chose the job. It's not the customers fault if they are being over worked and under paid but today we paid the ultimate price wasting time and gas going back and forth. I wouldn't trust their batteries but now we are stuck with one that's bad until we switch it. This will be the 3rd time going to this raggedy place today. I wouldn't waste my time going here unless you have absolutely no other choice. They have a window fix place there that does a amazing job which is the only reason they earned any stars at all. I definitely won't be coming to get anymore of their broken busted up batteries.

    Don't use the "we now pull parts" service, at least on big parts. Tried to use the service on buying a transmission, was told it would be ready the following week. Got a call the following week that it ended up getting sold to someone else. The front counter people claimed that they were told by the parts removers that they were not been able to remove it, yet someone else was able to. Front counter people were easy to deal with, no issues with them, but it's costing me more time and money now having to search for another transmission. Wish I would've just pulled it myself like I usually do.

    My experience here was good. Happened to have an issue with my brother tossing his wrist band from a different location. When I told the cashier about the issue, the manager over heard and told her to give my brother a wrist band as I showed proof of purchase from my bank account and everything got squared away. Definitely felt better going to this facility than the SW one.

    I've been using Pick your part for almost forty years and now , all of a sudden, I find the prices are no better than paying any other salvage yard for the same part except I'm doing all the work pulling it . No longer is there a basic price list for the type of part I need. I see no savings in using Pick Your Part for my go to salvage yard so I will refrain from going there . What a shame, it used to be a great place but now corporate greed has ruined it . Will not recommend anymore to my friends.

    Kalvin was extra helpful , went out of his way to FaceTime me and walk thru the yard to show me all the inventory he had for the car I’m needing parts for so I could see them before making a 4-1/2 hour drive . Super friendly and responded almost immediately

    To the "NEW OWNERS"..My husband and I used to frequent your Wallisville location, but as it stands because of your OUTLANDISH PRICING on USED PARTS that we do the work of PULLING THEM OFF OURSELVES and because of your HIGH ENVIRONMENTAL FEE which the parts we pulled had absolutely NO IMPACT NO FLUIDS OR OIL SPILLAGE on the environment...we will not be coming back! I will also recommend to all to just buy your parts online. You have lost so much money and business... lost so many customers by hiking up prices for used parts! This is really a thrift shop for used parts!! Customers and employees you have that need raises for the crap they put up with are the people that make your company thrive! Do them right.. and in return, you get a good rep.. Thank you!

    So scam I drove 50 minutes to get a sensor and I had to do the job and everything to get it out plus they saying low prices idk what they mean by that cause they trying it to sell it for so much more then what it cost they trying to sell it for 50 to me after I paid 10 to get in and plus they want me to pay 50 for the sensor plus I was doing the job. I don’t recommend this place at all plus the girls on the cashier they are so disrespectful and they don’t know what they doing.

    I went there for two rear brake dust shields, and two rear brake calipers. They gave me a price for over $200! When new they are much cheaper… the pretty lady at the window just does her job but the big lady in the back has final say and she only says No to anything you say when it comes to price. They mislabel the parts Upon checkout, so my two rear dust shields were actually labeled as two front knuckle spindles anyways they’re terrible…..not much else to say. If you’re looking at buying a part from them check how much It is online new because there’s a high chance that there taxing you heavily for it. they may have robbed me of my time but they won’t rob me of my money. Take your money elsewhere. These people are thief’s.

    I really wish I could not give any stars, they do not honor returns even if you pay for the extra 90 day return, they will say it is not there's when you can clearly see that it is marked, I paid 342.15 for a transmission that I can't use on my vehicle because mine needs the second sensor so I tried to return theirs so I could go pick mine up at another lkq location. They lied and said they only use one paint color which you can clearly see from the pictures that they use multiple colors. The guy who was there over the weekend when we tried to return it the first time tried to say he didn't remember us even being there 2 days before. But then lied again saying we were there over the weekend to get the core charge. I have been on the phone with the Manager multiple times today before driving 2 and a half hours for no reason. But like he said he "does this everyday to people" so other than the price of transmission, core, and warranty was not enough I am now out the four trips to Houston while my vehicle is still without the correct transmission.

    Very cool place. Cheap entrance fee. I was here for training but considering bringing my kid out just to let him look at the vehicles. It is what you would expect from a junk yard...old, wrecked cars that have been picked apart...but cool anyway. Was thinking that it would be cool to come with a group and do a scavenger hunt or contest to see who could find the coolest item.

    Came to get molding, supposed to be $7.00 per foot. They try to get over on every dime a two foot molding got rang up as a "interior trim" $25.99. Honestly this location specifically be hoeing on prices and tax for parts you don't get. Tell you, you need to go back and get sock number for a car she can look up in the front. Then to inconvenience you even more they ring you up for something you know you are not purchasing and tells you "that is what they go by in the system." They will argue with you until you leave with nothing, they do not have good customer service at all. All of the misc items they don't even sell they will have you remove, i.e brake pads.

    On ur website u never list the closing time only what time u open, a person needs to know how much time they have b-4 they come out there. I live 40mins away so that would be important to me.

    Went in for 2 brake rotor dust shields, and 2 rear calipers. Expected to pay maybe $70, as you can buy brand new calipers for this vehicle for $25 a piece - but we were quoted $240 total for 2 "front knuckle spindles" and $50 per caliper. Despite trying to calmly explain that our *rear* dust shields are not "front knuckle spindles", the cashier was set in stone. A manager was called over, and all the manager did was defend the cashier's incorrect assessment of our parts. I found our dust shield online brand new, in a set of 2 for $45, and was about to show the manager, but she said "I don't care what they sell for new, that's what our price is.". Absolutely no reasoning. We left the parts. Terrible experience, never going back.

    Don't waste your money, If you reject the 90 days warranty you can't return any parts for refund they don't give any more the 30 days free warranty. LKQ they steal people money with their extra fees and high prices. If you can find the parts online buy it is more profitable. They say the 90 Warranty is optional but how we see they force people to pay to be able to return and get their refund.

    I'm surprised they haven't been sued by people yet because all their engine parts are $349 if you need a rod bearing $349 if you need a camshaft $349 they used to be owned by competent individuals but now they're under new management and they raised the price from $3 to $5 for the entry fee and made the dumbest possible decision I think I've ever seen a business do by charging for engine parts like this literally just go anywhere else because they're just going to piss you off when you get to the counter.

    The manager (Vivian) crazy overcharged me for a part after I spent hours removing it. She made me pay the price of the individual components instead of the assembly price listed on the website. It cost me about triple what the site listed and my only option was to leave it there after spending my whole day pulling it myself. Total scam. Everyone else there is great and I used to go all the time, but this experience with Vivian was terrible. I'll go to other yards that stand by their posted pricing. UPDATE: Emailed them per their response and they ignored me

    Entrance fee is now $5.00. Import and domestic vehicles are mixed all together so you have to walk around looking for a vehicle which they may or may not, have even using there website. Pricing also going up, will now shop Amazon and pay a little more for NEW parts and not having to remove part myself and put up with poor customer service. Will ONLY use lqk as a last resort.

    Horrible experience selling my truck to them. They pay with checks and say it will clear within a couple of hours but it’s been a full day and found out it has been delayed for a week. Called my bank to see if the problem was on my side and nope they said they are waiting on their end to submit the funds .

    Drove all the way to Houston just for them to tell me look at there sign. Said closes at 3. When they SO CLEARLY stated on there website 3:30. All I needed was 2 bolts would have took me less then 15 minutes tops. Lady was not understanding in the distance I drove let alone how quick I could have been because they messed up there times.

    Warranty is NOT FREE like they announce on their signs, there is an extra fee for that. There is a fee of $5 per person, your fee for parts that you are going to purchase, plus core fee, plus Evn fee and of course tax. There is no discount like receipts states unless you don't want warranty

    This place is very hit or miss. You could either find a part at a cheap price or at a very high price. Sometimes, you can't even find a part at all. For example, I went to try and find an engine control module for my Dodge Ram, and all of the Rams they had available already had it removed. I also asked for how much an engine for the same truck would be, and they said $700. In summary, it all varies, you could either be lucky with finding a piece, or not.

    Had the return desk lady look at me like this, offended that I voiced the fact that their 90 day policy was deceitful. Glad to see I’m not the only one who feels this way. Change the wording on your signs to Non-Optional and I promise you will piss less people off. Since you are charging that fee regardless according to other reviews.
