I went today and spend like 300 in parts. The minute I entered my car, I started to go over the receive, I noticed I payed like 45 for a grille, and I check internet, Amazon has it for like 48. For 3 dollars more I can get a nice fresh look, so I immediately went back to cashier to return, well to my disappointment I wasn't helped. They said since I walk out the yard it was done. I Try to explain "I come to this place to save '$' it makes no sense to save 3 DOLLARS.They didn't want to hear that.

Sucks I used to come here and get great deals but after Covid it all went to shii like most comments your best bet is looking online first. I only come here now for specific bolts or older parts harder to find Online 🤷♂️

My 2007 Toyota Sienna Van overheated and stopped running at the side of the road. So, I went to LKQ Pick your Part website and used their estimate tool to sell my van. The tool asked many questions, then gave an offer. I accepted the offer, which included pickup and towing by LKQ. When I called to arrange for towing. I was told LKQ has a maximum towing distance of 35 miles, so I would need to deliver the van and with no compensation. The estimator tool had asked if I needed a tow and uses mapping software to measure distance. I am unable to tow the vehicle and refused the change in their offer. So, I'm giving a 1 because my time was wasted by a bait and switch tactic. These folks are shysters; they give offers that they do not intend to honor.

Entry fee ridiculous, $5 Really??… Keeps getting higher and higher as well as their prices, stupid expensive!! Makes no sense when you can buy new at a more affordable price in the comfort of your home at EBay or Amazon among many other online stores.

I'm sure this place won't be around long with the way it's going. 😤 The yard looked like a complete mess, with cars spread everywhere. 🚗🚕🚙 They charged a $5 entrance fee and then wanted to charge me $90 for a mechanical throttle! 💰 They even charged me for the bolts for the throttle body. 🔩 And they wanted $25 for a two-foot throttle cable! 💸 I haven't been to a pick-a-part in a while because they're supposed to be used parts, and as a professional mechanic, I don't use that stuff anymore. 🧰🔧 You can get brand new parts for about the same price these days. 🆕 I'm so disappointed with where they've come. It's robbery at its finest! 😡 #RidiculousPrices #AutoShopFail #DisappointedCustomer

Worst company to call, after navigating the dial menu twice it hung up, couldn’t get a hold of a single person.

It has lots of choices, However the guys are not helpful and the cashier was super condescending and down right rude. The prices they charge absolutely do not match even close to what they state online or when you call. I broke my phone while I was working on what I needed and had to figure out how to transfer more money, it was near closing but they assured me I could pay in 10 minutes when I got the transfer done. When I went back they said we could not pay or get our items as they were now closed. If that was the case why waste my time in the first place? Just say no you're out of luck. All of the workers I came in contact with were super rude and acted as if they hate their job. No matter where you work you should take pride in customer service and being respectful to customers. I traveled over 100 miles 1 way just for this and I know they were closing but I couldn't control the 2 accidents that held me up getting here. I will never come back here again I would rather buy private party and pay that price than be treated like trash. I will be telling my local family members as well.

This place has a pretty decent selection of vehicles, however, everything is very disorganized. If you reference their online website for a specific vehicle location vs where that specific vehicle is physically located at, it's nowhere near it.

I love going to LKQ it's like a grown man's toy store. Im there at least 5 times a month or more. Best prices and easy access to any car.
- SSAW
It is better then it used to be. The prices are ok and when your low on cash and still have to keep your car running, you can always get your used parts here. I needed a Battery and found a pretty good one there and they load tested it and let me see the results and i couldn't ask for more then that

The website only gives an 800 number so there's no way to call and verify if the car posted on the site still has the parts it shows it has. One staffer offered us some help. Most did not care that I drove close to 300 miles to pick up a door that was not there. I will not be giving them any future business.
- PPlanag7
Pretty straightforward yeah majority of information that you'll find on what cars are available will be on the website just make sure to zero in on the location nearest to you like I did before I went. Sadly I will say it gets marked down a bit because of the fact unlike other cool parts places there are no options to pay them to remove engines or transmissions and their website is somewhat behind when it comes to Old stock as I was able to find other cars that weren't mentioned on the website but not find the car in particular that I was looking for the last time

I gave LKQ 5 stars 10 months ago and 10 months ago I felt that was an honest assessment. Let me tell you the scam they are pulling on unexpected customers these days. I spent 2 hours pulling a fender and a headlight frame, one item that is aluminum and one that is plastic (no electronics). I proceed to pay for these 2 items and I question the amount because it seemed a little higher then I thought it should be, I was told that there is an $8 core charge on the fender. Although I still thought it was a little off I paid and proceeded to the exit. As the exit person was examining my tool bag, I examined the receipt and thats when I found the problem. I was charged a 90 Day Guarantee on both of my items totalling nearly $20.00!! I wasn't asked if I wanted a 90 day Guarantee on a fender (as if I dented it they would refund my money. NOT) I returned to the cashier to have them adjust and refund my money since this was not discussed or agreed upon, but I was told that it is in writing when I signed in that all parts come with a 90 day Guarantee unless I specified that I decline before I payed.. This is a sneaky and underhanded way to extract additional money from your customers and this is the last time I will visit any of your yards. In turn, I will discourage everyone I talk to from using any of your locations. Bulls#^t move LQK!!

I love going through here looking at everything and I don't mind paying the three dollar entry fee to do it. Everyone is so nice and helpful and they are willing to answer any questions you may have. This is like an outing to me and sometimes I find some interesting looking items that I have no idea how to use or what they do so you see I'm not your average car part consumer. I just like to look at all these junk cars.

Bought a valve body for my 2006 Mercedes Benz E350’s transmission, didn’t get receipt for the warranty, they refused to help me with the issue, stated to me to suit them that they won’t help me with the matter. I tried to exchange or get a refund, I have a bank statement of purchase amount and date with their company name and still won’t help me.

LKQ has made a few changes. Not for the best in some ways. They automatically throw on the 90 day guarantee whether you want it or not. In my case it added an additional $43 to my bill. There was the environment fee for every part you buy. That added up to an additional $13. It doesn't state anywhere on the receipt how that environmental fee is calculated or if it is a fee that goes back the the County or State. Which leads me to thinking then that this is just another BS fee for the company to generate extra money as nobody will question it as it's stated as an "environmental fee" and thereby potentially misleading people to believe that it's a fee that the County or State collects. The total cost of my parts was just shy of $144, not including sales tax. Now you look at that the "guarantee and environmental fees" totalled to $56. That's over 1/3rd of the cost of the total parts that was added onto the bill. Now I question if the guarantee and environmental fees were taxed and are those taxible items.

I've been going to this place for years. When it was ecology, never had a problem. The staff always helpful. Everybody has good days and bad days. Sure everything online is cheaper, but when I need a part I need it now, not two days from now, yes I agree, lkq is a little overpriced and it's only 40% off instead of 50%off sale days, but the inventory control is outstanding. I used to spend sometimes all day looking for parts when it was ecology. If you aren't familiar with their inventory system I'll give you a brief description. You don't need an account you can use this system anyway, but I suggest you create one its totally free. They keep an eye out for you about cars your interested in, when one comes on the yard they notify you by email. But that's not even the best part. This is; go on line to a. lqk location near you. Type in the vehicle you have and they will tell you which section, the row# and the space# it's in, also the date they got it, even it's color. If they don't have it at that yard it tells you which yard does have. They also have a parts interchange, that is now user friendly, again type in your vehicle and the part you need and they'll tell you what other car uses the same part. It saves so much time. So what. the price is a little higher. It's worth it. LKQ AWESOME

Love this place. Great selection, great prices, great staff! All around a good experience, found exactly what I came for and then some! They are VERY well organized. Check the website inventory before visiting so that you can find your selections easier. (Row #, etc)

Spent days searching for a part online. Found it at this location. Called the LKQ number many times only to be disconnected over and over. Not clear if there are any humans who manage the phone lines. The recording said their website has up to date inventory, so we drove over an hour to get the part shown as available on their website. The part was not there. This isn’t a timing thing. We’re long gone and it still shows available on site. Waste of time.

We just love pic&pull. It's not only affordable but it's a lot of fun hunting parts together. Our first date was at pick & pull. We've been going together every since. We like working on our car and it's like a treasure hunt when you find that part you have been looking for. And the price s always right.

Searching LKQ for a rim for my 95 Chevrolet Silverado. There are only 3 @ LKQ in the US. 2 in Sun Valley and 1 at Victorvill, or so the LKQ Pick Your Part website posted. So I travel 2 hrs from Bakersfield only to have an employee say "Oh that picture is from February 2023. I doubt there are any parts left of that truck but you can pay $3 admission and go look". I looked and like he said everything was gone. I think LKQ should have a number that we can call to make sure the posted picture is legit. I did call and pushed the selling a car number to talk to a real person. As soon as I told her "I'm not selling a car I just need to know if a truck is there before I travel the 4.5 round trip, she hung up on me. Disrespectful, bait-and-switch junk yard. LKQ bought Pick Your Part on Union Ave in Bakersfield CA. and bought all the auto boneyard all up and down Union THEN refused to renew all the leases to monopolies and raise the prices for used auto parts because now we can't choose the least expensive boneyard. C S games deserve no respect.

My first time here and I was really surprised to how easy it was to locate the vehicle I needed and pulled the part in less than 5 mins. They charge $3 entry fee and have all there car inventory online so u dont waste anytime. The website even says what Section, Row n Isle to find the vehicle quickly and easily. The do check bags when u enter n exit so be prepared and dont steal. Nissan wanted $500 for the part they had n sold me for $2 all in all I saved $498 totally worth it n they even will warranty it for 30 days for add $2

Well I did a lot of whining in my last review about the price of part's. I even went so far is to compare their used parts price to rockauto's new parts price well I just dealt with RockAuto and I won't be doing that again. I did purchase the new part from RockAuto a fan electric fan well got it put it on and then I found out that the lead for the power was 4 inches too short I made contact with RockAuto as most people know you don't get a real person and they pretty much did everything within their power to not have to take that part back so rockauto's warranty I wouldn't depend on it I'll stick with going back to pick your part so that's why I gave it a five-star now I got knocked back in to reality. Also PYP'S parts price now includes a 90 day warranty at the time of my first post I didn't know there was the fairly new warranty included in the price. Oh yes I did go back and purchase the electric fan assembly from Pick your Part. Now I just need some help eating all this Crow.

Worst of all, they have everything: mixed cars, vans, SUVs, trucks, domestic and foreign. Don’t waste your time with this place.

Overpriced compared to other Lkq will no longer be coming to this yard again

All these dismantlers' got bought out by the same company, that's why they don't go by "pick a part" anymore. The prices are too much that it's a waste of time now. Order new online from Amazon or eBay and save the hassle. Personnel are rude and don't help one bit. This is a hostile place and if not needed, stay away honestly. Another example of companies buying out businesses and the downward spiral starts until it'll be close for good! Enjoy your weekend and project by just ordering online, ahead of time if you can. Prices are high and they'll nickle and dime you all the way for every little piece, and the rude unprofessional staff are the ultimate deal killer. Trust me, avoid this place and enjoy your project.

Finding my way was quicker, and I didn't have to look like a ditz who was lost trying to look smart in my girls eyes. She was so impressed at me, knowing that I had never driven to these places before could find them so easily. Guys to look the part, put your ear piece in so she'd never know you were being directed to your location.

Do not shop here. If you're looking for a vehicle that's 19 99 and down they'll have it. They advertise they have a 2005 F-150 they do not have such a vehicle purchased a horn for the truck they overcharged me they said it was two horns although they're stuck together they charged me $16 I can get them on Amazon for 27 brand new. Big gouge people here. Do not give them your money. Buy refurbished or new share your only saving a few dollars not worth the trip and you taking it off yourself. Then they treat you like a thief didn't inspect you on the way out. Made me feel like a Thief. Will never return here
- MMichael Rinehimer
Very helpful and friendly staff. Vehicles easily accessible and carts were readily available to load up parts and tools. Thanks for a wonderful experience.
- MMelinda Simpson
Far overpriced. The placement of cars tends to be a little too mixed up for my taste. Workers at the gate are pretty chill, but the men on the lot tend to speak very little English so they generally have no idea what vehicle I’m talking about, much less the part.
