If your looking to salvage a vehicle with title this is your place! I called Ms Ann early Mon morning and she had my vehicle picked up that same day and the price was excellent. Fast and friendly service. Christmas is coming, get you some fast cash for your junk car!

The short-haired brunette lady is quite rude and disrespectful. She should be given customer service training or moved to a different area. I stood in line with about 8 people. Then, when it was my turn, she told me to go to the end of the line again because she was only going to check the price and priority was given to those who were going to pay at once. It is very unfortunate that this type of act happens in such a large company like this!

I've been coming here for almost a decade now. This place just keeps getting worse every year. They nickel and dime HARD, and are extremely unreasonable. I found an owners manual and a small stack of pamphlets that I wanted, but I found out they were going to charge the full cost of an owners manual for every single piece of paper I brought to the checkout, non negotiable. Obviously I decided not to buy the paperwork at that point, so they just threw everything in the trash. Wonderful, classy folks running this place! Prices have always been higher here than at the Pick 'n' Pull in Tallahassee, but it seems that gap is steadily widening, especially now that they barcode individual parts. Obviously they need to be able charge you more for the Ford mirror than the Chevy mirror! As a car guy, it also sucks to see some of the vehicles they decide to junk here. Pick 'n' Pull will give nicer vehicles a chance to be sold back to the public, since they double as a used car dealership. This place would pay you $200 for a mint Delorean and then scrap it without a second thought.

This place use to be a great place with great prices. They charge a steep fee to be able to return the part almost the same price as the part. I just bought a part then checked the price of a brand new replacement and the prices were nearly the same. Don't waste your time or money here, they are ripping people off

My father came there and bought a wheel and tire. He took his old one in for the core charge. Yet they still charged him for core and refused to give him his wheel back. They basically stole his wheel and charged him to do so. When he asked for it back or the core charge back then refused. When calling them you can not get anyone to answer. Not to mention he is elderly so they did this knowingly taking advantage of him.

Absolute Horrible Experience! I purchased a transmission from here and also purchased the 90 Day warranty. I hired a mechanic to install the transmission and unfortunately it didn’t work. So, I then had to pay to have it removed. I live an hour away from the facility, so I made the hours drive, receipt in tow. Numerous Employees began to examine the transmission which very clearly had their proprietary markings all over. However after waiting and re-examining the transmission the on duty sales manager claimed that the transmission was only partially theirs and stated that it was missing some mysterious indentation on the front and refused me a refund. The transmission clearly has their markings and stickers all over it. They will be in for a rude awakening when I file a lawsuit. UPDATE After contacting the Corporate Office the issue was resolved Fast

They're not honest people. Waited until my friend pulled the transmission. The price was double, so we came back the next day and they had sold the transmission. So be careful when dealing with these people!

#LKQ update 09/02/2024 It is crucial for us to insist on transparency when it comes to parts that can be checked with a battery, such as fuel pumps, window regulators, starters, and so on. It is unacceptable that many shops sell these batteries but refuse to let you test the product before you make a purchase. They push you to buy the warranty and take the product home, only for you to realize that it doesn't work, leading to wasted time and effort in returning it. We need to demand better service and accountability from these shops. Additionally, be aware of them adding extended warranties on non-moving parts. For example, if you are buying a door, hood, window, etc., you don't need a warranty, but they will add one if you are not paying attention.

Extremely friendly and helpful staff. I came at the last minute before closing and attempted something I've never done before , couldn't complete task by the closing and had a private escort until I finally gave up like 15 minutes later, walked me out and said bye with a smile, totally patient with me. Come back the following day to retrieve my part, and returned the core the following, only to find out they are multi lingual rather its hablo Espanola or Vale tudo,,,depending on which side of this hemisphere your standing. She takes the cake. 5star for them and a perfect 10 for her.

I'd give 0 stars if I could, customer service is horrible. I just needed a certain locations number to ask questions. Kept telling me they would transfer me, then just hang up. Would never drive an hour before knowing if the part I'm looking for is there. Horrible buisness.

Most definitely will do business here again. I showed up literally 5 minutes before they closed they still welcomed me in to get what I needed quickly. Everybody there was so friendly and kind. The one lady even offered my daughter a ice pop to cool off while she waited on my husband and I to finish what we were doing.

LKQ Pick Your Part locations are super helpful and a great place to get used parts. This location has a pretty good selection of used vehicles from many manufacturers. Imports, Euros, and domestics, some older but not usually more than 20 years old.

Prices are absolutely ridiculous for small parts. It makes no sense to pay to get in, remove your own part and pay these prices when you can order the same part offline, for much less and delivered to your door.

Easy to get a quote to buy my car. Car was 30 years old; still running and in good shape. Just couldn't justify the cost of the repair needed compared to value. They gave me a good price for the car. But they were supposed to pick it up between 9 & 10:30am but didnt pick it up til after 2 pm. I found that kinda hypocritical since they threatened to have my car towed outside the yard if I didn't pick my check up in time....tho they already had a signed title. Sooo.....moral of the story----they will give you good money for your car but customer service is about 50/50 on polite/ jerkish.

People are out of their mind. Prices are almost as much as new. I will be driving to ace pick a part in Jax for all of my used parts needs after today. And then they just throw them away after telling you they cost too much and make no money on them. Smh. Update... So the part was 2 small corner pieces of a damaged quarter panel. Took them to the counter and was told $290.00 That is the issue.

Terrible experience with who I believe was the manager. Im still blown away she let me walk away. I forgot the wire adapters necessary to use the pieces I purchased the day previously. Explained my situation before I went in the yard. They did waive the fee for re entry after seeing my receipt which is the only positive I have. Then after salvaging what I needed I went to leave and they tried to charge me $10 bucks for the adapter piece that goes to the receiver and dash kit for my Ford Taurus which they charged me over a hundred bucks for which I feel is way over priced already. From crutchfield I could get a brand new one for these prices and it would include the adapters. I was forced to return what I had out of principal that I feel they were trying to take advantage of me. I tried to reason with them that I couldnt use the things I had already purchased the day prior without this small six inch adapter but they only wanted more money. They think this stuff is new or something. I would not do business with these people again.

Went in there for the first time for a few F-150 trim pieces. So I was there at 8:55 am they finally opened a gate at. 9:17. So I go to a window ..and tell her it's my first time. She gives me a list of vehicles. I needed 2 speaker grills and a little plastic square bed rail steak cap. ... So I walk back up to the window. And I guess I went to the wrong window. So I go to the other window on the back of the building. I would think the 8 employees would have said something to me but ok. So I show the lady the 3 parts. And she was clueless to what they were and where they came from .. so I told her 2 speaker grills small ones. And a small cap. So she looks at me and says. I'm not kidding. $96.56 I said are you kidding me. So I look and there's some guy in a reflective vest standing doing nothing . I said to him are you really charging almost $100 dollars for 2 speaker grills and a cap. He shrugs his shoulders and walked away. Wow wow. So she does more computer work I don't know why she couldn't have just asked a person with experience. So now the bill is $75. And change. I said are you punking me where's the camera. And then she said that's with the protection. I said what are you talking about. She said in case it doesn't fit. Huh it came off the same truck it's 3 pieces of plastic. Then she Said $56 and change I said the hell with it. And paid.. here's the kicker. I'm a retired automotive technician who worked at a dealer in new Hampshire for Over 33 years and left as a service director. I was a world-class certified. And ASE Master for over 22 years. You all treated me like a idiot. We used LKQ as our go to for engines and transmissions. Our body shop bought everything from complete front and rear clips to interior trim ... No more. As soon as I got home I called a few salvage yards around chiefland. They said they would have charged no more than $10 to $20 for all of it. How dare you. Come to find out the receipt says trim by the foot. What the hell does that mean. It's 3 small parts. I'm so pissed. Of and the parts I had to repaint because as you can guess . The weather fades and weather damages painted plastic pieces. I'm owed an apology if nothing else. This experience was a joke

Signed up for the app to receive alert for when car posted on the yard >>> Found the part I was looking for >>> Could not remove it myself so I paid for their "Pull Service" >>> 4 days later, still waiting to hear back >>> show up to get status, and it turns out they sold my part right from underneath me. They did not pull the part out of time and they let someone else buy it though it was paid for. They're "Pull Service" system is completely flawed. I know they verify what parts come out of what car upon check out, so they should've known that that part was paid for if someone else tried to check out with it. The manager and the regional manager were onsite and couldn't even offer a simple apology. There's no way to call the location directly which makes it impossible to communicate if you're from out of town. I would not recommend their Pull Service nor recommend that these two (manager and regional manager) would do the right thing either.

Update: I emailed the address provided in the review response and it's just more dishonesty. No attempt was made to refund me the lot fee, or for my time wasted. No attempt was made to correct the website prices, or force the location to honor published prices. It shouldn't be too surprising because most of the times a business has wronged someone they provide these emails or DM's as a way to save face for their bad behavior. Sensor and pigtails are listed at $18 and $7 on their website, but after you waste $3 just to get into the yard and then go to checkout, the pigtails are $20 and the sensors are $45. This is not only dishonest, it also makes the junkyard price higher than buying new.

I have to agree with all the new reviews on here , this place is going down hill , the prices are messed up and beware when checking out the lady will charge you for different parts then what you have. I was trying to buy a piece of shift linkage and she was trying to charge me for a steering column… very unprofessional. Lost me as a customer. It’s better to just drive up to Jacksonville to Ace pick a part.

I started going here when I was 18. This used to be a place where you could save money by putting in some work for a used part. Returns used to be free, prices used to be fair and they USED TO TELL YOU IF AN ENGINE CAME IN RUNNING OR NOT! the yard used to be organized imports on one side, domestic on the other. You used to be able to check prices online, or even call the office. In the present day, theyve introduced "dynamic pricing" so you cant trust the prices on the website, and you cant call the office either to ask for a price. If you want an engine i believe it used to be 250 plus core plus tax and u pull it yourself. Now if i want an engine for my avenger, its going to cost me $800, without a warranty, and they wont tell me if the engine was running when it came to the yard "just grab it from a crashed car" they said. No im not going to risk all that time and 800 bucks just to find out after installing it in my car that my car still won't run and im $800 poorer. Management has ruined the purpose that this business existed for. Most parts in the yard are LITERALLY more expensive than brand new parts on Amazon. I pulled a radiator for my RSX only to realize afterwards that it was 10 bucks cheaper new on amazon. I left it at the front and ordered it online. Why get dirty, sweaty, waste time just to pay overpay for inferior products. The only realistic reason to come here anymore is for parts you cant find online. Corporate has given the middle finger to this company's customer demographic.

I’ve given them a LOT of business over the last few years and they have steadily slid downhill. Most recently the new “dynamic parts pricing” is ridiculous. For example, a 15 year old Xenon headlight that needs refinishing that was about $50 is now $220!! and more if you want a warranty. The website is also super-slow to update new inventory compared to other yards. I will say the employees are generally nice & try to be helpful but the management is clearly the problem. I’m done with them and bet a lot of other people are too!

I'm giving 5 stars because of Miss Felicia at the checkout counter in Gainesville, FL. I may not always see eye2eye w/LKQ, but I will always come back here for her integrity and kindness. Even if the person in front of you was rude, she will still greet you and take care of you like person in front never happened. Thank you and God bless you
