Absolutely terrible service, I brought my HOMESCHOOLED sixteen year old son and since he's homeschooled he isn't going to have a school ID. I was refused service by an incredibly rude worker with piercings all over her face. Getting refused service is one thing but having a terrible attitude is another. I guess you can't expect everyone to be a good talker. She should not be around customers. Absolutely unacceptable attitude.

Their call center quoted me a price for a junker in my driveway. They told me they would bring me a check, look over the car, and leave with the car and title. The person picking up the car said they never have checks and the call center should know that. I would have to drive to their office. When I went, the parts sales desk sent me to another building 100 yds away. No one was there. There were keys on the desk by the door. I hung around for 10 minutes, eventually walking through the whole building. No one was there. I walked back to the sales office. They said they called the girl working there and she would meet me there. I walk back, hang around another 10-15 minutes, wander around the building. No one there. I go back to the sales desk. Same story. I asked if they could have her ring them when she was at her desk. Some little round troll of a woman then says in a really nasty tone, "She's not going to call me and say she's there." I said "why not." And she said "Because she's NOT!. You can go up there and get your check or go get your car. I'm not going to argue with you." I was once held up at gunpoint and that guy was a lot more pleasant to deal with. I eventually got my check. Before I would sell them another car I would have it towed to their parking lot and torch it myself.

I was told to meet the driver to pick up the car and he would bring a check. The driver said he never carries checks so I had to drive to the yard to get me check. I have since received a notice from SCDMV about not having insurance. I called the 800 number but she said they have not way to transfer me to the yard and she didn't have a number for them. She proceeded to hang up on me. Now I have to drive to the yard again. This was supposed to be easy and it's been a major pain. I'll just give it away next time.

I went through the entire process of getting the vehicle sold to this location. As well as turned down several other offers. We exchanged information not only through the website but also verbally. We scheduled a pick up time for the vehicle only to have them tell us we were out of pick up range.

No local phone number, I’m not driving out to the yard only to find out that I needed a jack & jack stands to get at a part that is under the vehicle.

It’s fun and they have a pretty good selection. Their online catalogue is very useful. But prices are just too high. I needed new hatch struts, and she billed me $10 PER STRUT, when we don’t even know if they work. That’s the same as brand new online. Junky washer nozzles are literally more expensive than they are new online. $3 to get in, $3 env fee no matter what you buy. I used to love going here, but the pricing just doesn’t make sense

So glad we have LKQ in Greenville and in Greer! No real surprises. Prices online, inventory online, parts exchange guide online. If you are not 100% sure about the part your buying, pay the little bit extra for the warranty. The part I bought last week didn't fix the problem. Genuine factory part was $1300. Used part to fix a used car $75. They gave me 100% of the cost back, no deduction! My car ended up not being worth it to fix. I let LKQ come and pick it up and they gave me a check for $400! They also helped me with legal paperwork. Blessings, John 20:29

My husband got a quote and was told the car would be picked up between 9-3 today. He waited with car, which is at his grandparents house, all day today it to be picked up and they never got to it. He went to the store to find out when they are coming and they told him they forgot to call him and tell him the tow truck is down. Very disappointed with the service.

Shady business practices and deception are their model. The website lists one price, but when you get to the counter it ends up being double or triple what you thought it would be. Just so everybody knows, you can take the warranty off (that they automatically include) if you ask for it to be taken off. All the other reviews are right, the parts prices are out of control. You can get cheaper parts almost anywhere else than here. I will drive to Pull a Part in Columbia before I go here.

$10 to remove fender, $12 to remove doors, $25 to remove radiators, $12 to remove front bumpers, $12 to remove decklids, $10 for headlights, etc. Look for him, he's homeless but working for his money instead of begging on the streets. Hard workers, good guy, keeps your hands clean and cheap labor. Their everyday at greenville lkq near outside soda machines. Edit: i hired him for 3 weeks, turned out he was a Meth Addict and didnt want to work without it. Untrustworthy, never on time, smelled like pee, had money for this but not for food and sanitation.

The staff are the rudest bunch of miserable folks I've ever encountered before. They have zero social skills & They treat everyone like dirt. The prices are ridiculous. You would be better off buying new or going to a different location.

I think this place for buying used parts is pretty good. The sticker labels on key parts was a good idea. I don't think it's fair game to charge you to go in and pull your own part. There should be no entry fee! Also since there is an entry fee they should offer a yearly membership that would equal less on average to appeal to the regulars. There should be good perks for the regulars who spend a ton of money at LKQ.

After their last price increase I can find parts cheaper in ebay, *with a warranty*. Why would I go through the trouble of picking a part in their wasp infested yard when I can have it delivered to my door, Shiney and new looking. Whoever made that decision Is gonna run the place into the ground.

Don't buy a battery, just pay the extra for a new one. You will save money in the long run, since you will be back there every other day until you tire of going there to return one of their dead batteries they trickle charge that are nothing but cores. The price of things depends on who is at the register. A door turned into a nearly 400.00 dollar circus. The glass rubber seal, the the regulator and so on are extra. I went to a yard where they pull it and saved 200 plus dollars. One must be shopper save when using them. They are in many ways no bargain.

Staff is rude and hateful with everybody. They treat u like a thief or criminal. Ask them about a part or a price and they are rude and have attitude with u. And the prices have gotten out of control. Its cheaper to buy new parts on certain things. Sunvisors are almost $50 for a set with the so called warranty that they make u pay for which is more than the part itself. And charge a core on everything u buy. So u pay them for part but have to give them part in return or ur charged a fee. So they can scrap it and vet more money. Used to be the place to go for bargains and saving money on expensive auto repairs but not anymore its penny pinching the cuatomer to death. Not worth it anymore. Pluse u have to go out and inthe heat and get it urself on top of paying premium prices and warranties and core charge and entry fee and be treated like dirt by emoyees is absurd.

Went there to find a fender for my 2000 F350 Super Duty. Took me a couple hours to take it out of the vehicle it was on. Went to the register & they were charging me $115 for it. Went online and found a cheaper one for $80 If your customers have to remove the piece themselves, you should discount it to be competitive at the very minimum

I had to get a spindle knuckle and had to return it. They were so professional and nice to me. They let me go back and get the right one. I am real slow because I hurt so much but they never rushed me. I will definitely tell others to go to this LKQ in Greenville SC. They are the best. Thank yall for being so understanding with me.

If I could give zero stars i would. This place is a racket. Trying to charge you double for parts. Told me one price at the counter then tried to double the price when i inserted my card. Prices are outrageous to begin with, but beware of their shady tactics. Been going to salvage yards for years I miss the mom and pop yards.

If I could give something lower than one star I would!!!! The LKQ in Greenville, SC said they would buy my car and gave me a pick up time frame.. I stayed home by my phone ALL DAY and they NEVER showed up or CALLED!!! When I called the 800 number I was told to wait until the latest pick up time and if they were not there to call back. I waited until after the time and when I called back the lady said she didn’t have a direct number to contact the LKQ in Greenville, SC so she would email them and see if they would call me.. Still no call!! I do NOT recommend this company to anyone..

This place is very unprofessional and disrespectful. The employees are as bad as their practices. Now they won’t even speak to you. You have to go online. Too bad for the older, impaired, disabled, or people who just aren’t computer savvy. No pride in their business whatsoever! This place is a joke. The only reason I left one star is because ZERO STARS wasn’t available. #FOH

Went to sell a very used car and was quote one thing and once I got there the cashier talked me down even more in price because it doesn’t have catalytic converter which was clearly stated in the first quote. It was actually asked and I stated it so 2 times it was mentioned in the first quote. Yet the cashier still used that as the reason to talk me down more money. Once I said that was mentioned on the first quote he explains how an entire new claim has to be typed up so it doesn’t matter. Very shady and scummy business tactics.

It's not anything special but has been and will likely continue to be helpful for many. I would have given 4 stars but chose to give 3 based on their sometimes very high pricing for some items. And here is something IMPORTANT to know: there are warranties automatically on basically every item you purchase. You may want all of the warranties, but you likely won't be using the warranties ever. They can drive up the cost of your bill, and you won't even notice - you have to specifically ask for them to be removed prior to paying. But still, I would recommend visiting this place, as it can be fun and helpful.

This is a great opportunity to find the random parts you're looking for. The yard is relatively clean and the vehicle was easy to find. I was a little disappointed with the price increase but hopefully everything will work. Even with the price increase things are considerably lower priced than purchasing from somewhere else. They're also offering a 90 day warranty.

First time there and the experience sucked. Bad customer service. But no biggie on my part and to the owner/s, the heavy set girl there lost y'all over 400$ but that might not be no biggie to y'all but not good for business. I wanted a full set of rims but couldn't get them because the vehicles were still on the ground. Went and told the heavy set girl up front and was told they shouldn't be on the ground and would tell someone...Waiting... She goes back to playing on the computer and does nothing. It was a waste of 6$.

I cant give them more than 2 stars! Even tho they had what I needed. Customer service is very important to any business. Guy quoted me $16 for a mirror. Got to the front desk and little Ms. Unprofessional quoted me $35. No maam I do not want a warranty you didn't ask me before adding on. I advised her the guy right behind her quoted me $16. She didn't even confirm with him. I promise it will be the last time LKQ get 1 penny from me! Be professional. Honor your word! LkQ be careful who you hire! They can make or break your business! Should have known by the hair color she would be an issue

It's a salvage yard, nothing special. More often than not the parts you need were already pulled by someone else. Costs $3.00 per person to walk in..not refundable even if you dont find anything. No torches so a lot of parts are impossible to remove. They check all bags going in and leaving. Sometimes you get lucky and find exactly what you need. Employees are nice and helpful. If you ask, they will print you a location for the cars you are seeking.

I needed some random hard to find interior parts for my older Mazda and on a whim googled "salvage yards near me" LKQ had good reviews, and their pricing and inventory was the most straightforward so I gave them a shot. Good experience every time I've been. I can see a few people talking about the cars being picked over, but after a little searching I've personally not really had any problems. They keep inventory up to day and within a few days of my first visit they had new cars in and I was able to get more of the parts that I needed. The $3 really isn't a problem in my opinion either. Cheapest factory mats I could find for my model = $75, LKQ cost around $4 + $3 entry fee so it was well worth it to me. Will definitely keep coming back.
