Best salvage yard to deal with! Great customer service! Quick shipping and very quality low mileage products with great prices! Family owned and operated so the owners actually care about their customers! Use them weekly and will continue to use them for years to come!
- KKavon Evans
Customer service was great! I forgot the young woman name that started helping me, but she was amazing. I was trying to find a hard to come by part for my car and she went above and beyond to help me with it. Even went outside to look at the car trying to see what I was describing. Corey finished up by giving me a number to get what I need. The most important thing that stood out to me the atmosphere. In today's pandemic it seem like customer service or even being kind to your neighbor is gone out the door. They were friendly to those that had masks on and those that didn't. They held conversation regardless and didn't try to rush you even though they were really busy. Definitely would recommend going here. Keep doing a good job.

Corey and his team went over and beyond to help me in making sure I had a proper working headlight! 10-10 recommend this business! I’m so thankful for their help in finding the right part that I needed to be safe to drive on the roads at night!

Great experience. I visited this location and their McDonough location on the same day to find a part for my truck. Even though they were busy, the staff was courteous and got me on the lot quickly to inspect the part (unlike several other salvage yards I visited). I purchased the body part at the other location since it was in better shape.

Good inventory, fair price, polite staff, quick turn around. I needed a seat, they had it, it was pulled when I arrived, and I was on site for less than 5 minutes. I'm satisfied.

Never had a bad experience until today. Overcharged, 6 month warranty that we requested was not included. Very rude service, I was basically told I was a liar. We will not be using them again.

Just always busy. Call ahead to make sure they have the part and pull it if your coming. Love the workers, down to earth. You might even get a laugh from them.
- LLisa M

Jay is a liar!!!! I order two different parts from him. I was told one was on the truck being delivered and the other one was being removed from the car. When calling on the parts after not showing up another employee told me that they didn't even have the parts.
- MMr. 5 Star
Came in for a part and I was out in less than 15min. The staff was courteous and answered all my questions. I installed the part and it worked as described. Thanks and hope to do business again.
- KKevin Gordon
They pulled a special part for me that many junk yards wouldn't. David was very helpful and did his best to correct a shipping error.

Not sure what posting here will do, other than make me feel better about trusting the uneducated and clearly inexperienced staff of this useless company, so here it goes. I did a parts search for a Ford 400 engine, found McDonough Used Auto Parts had a Ford 400 engine with 30k miles on it. Being smart about it, I KNEW 30k was not realistic for a nearly 40 year old motor, and knowing most inventory systems were incorrect, I emailed them to verify they did have it. I received a reply and it was stated the motor was in stock. I I replied back and inquired if it was a 351M or a 400, being auto salvage folks, I figured they knew how to determine the difference and would be honest with their assessment. I received a reply that it was a 400, so I am doing good, I thought. I called and asked Corey if someone would send me pictures of the block codes and received only one set from the side of the block. I replied to the text message that was sent with the pic, and asked for the remaining set of stamped codes and never heard back. I called Corey and asked him how they determined the motor was a 400 vs. a 351M and he told me, "Well we have been doing this for years and we know our stuff, I can assure you that this is a 400!" "To make sure, I will go look myself" Several hours later I called as Corey didn't call me back, he said he was busy and the motor was up high and had to be pulled down. Shortly thereafter Corey called me back and said it was a 400 "without a doubt". So I get a friend of mine on the hook and we drive 55 miles one way, to go pickup the motor. We get there, fortunately prepared to do our own testing to verify it to be a 400 and Corey asked an employee to show us the motor. On the way out, we said that we had to get some tools from the truck and they inquired "why"? Well to insure it is a 400 of course. "Well it is a big block, so it is a 400" was his reply. That should have told us everything! Education time... Ford 351M and 400 motors are in the 335 series, small block engines, not big block. Ford big blocks start with the 385 series, like 429 and 460 motors, and I don't work in a salvage yard, so you can even see it isn't hard to determine I knew more than they did on the topic. Well we performed our testing, which was measuring the stroke of the engine as the crank was being turned and guess what? The motor was NOT a 400, it was a 351M. How do I know? Because the stroke, measured through the spark plug hole, was 3.5" and not 4"; 351M has a 3.5" stroke and the 400 has a 4" stroke and the stroke never exceeded 4"! Not a single employee out of the 3 that were involved in our visit even knew how to measure the stroke, let alone about the 351M or 400! I went inside before leaving the place, and told Corey. He never even apologized for wasting our time and resources, he actually just sat in his chair and stared at me in total disbelief. It cost me $200 to get a vehicle down there to pickup the motor, which we didn't get, I missed 4 hours of work, my friend missed 3 hours of work and we spent $30 in fuel. A net loss of $440 because they don't know what they are doing. A simple Google search would have revealed the process to them and they would have had a great review from me versus the blazing truth plastered on the internet. McDonough Used Auto Parts is NOT a company anyone should trust, either they are dishonest or woefully inept, or both. Which is better? Which is worse? I am doing what I can to steer people clear of their lack of concern and professionalism. You have been warned, McDonough Used Auto Parts needs to be put out of business.
