Every business has their good and bad days, but beyond that there's a culture that permeates. I fancy myself a keen judge of the latter, and from my experience I give these folks five stars for friendliness, cleanliness, professionalism (an effort to treat customers as if they're valued), and for fair deal making. This was in stark contrast to other scrap yards I've dealt with in Seattle so I applaud their obvious effort to stand above in what must be a tough business to please it's customers considering the range of people's expectaions for what they think their materials should be worth. Lady in the front to check scrap quality is too crabby I don’t like doing business with people who seem like they don’t want my business I’ve tried multiple times to see if she just having a bad day but she’s just plain rude I would recommend taking her out of the customer service area if she doesn’t like certain peoples until then I’m taking all business to the other locations

These guys are the BEST! I work for a CNC machine shop and have been using these guys for 20+ years. The customer service is second to none. I had an issue where I was out of bins to dump my chips in and these guys drove out in a pickup truck with a trailer to swap out bins for me the same day! Couldn't ask for better service! Much Appreciated!

Hard to believe they have such good reviews? We came to sell some copper and some silver jewelry. We stopped and started to eat our meal before we went in. A lady immediately came by and asked very rudely if she could help us ans if we were actually gonna do business there. Then a short time later a male comes out with a baseball bat threatingly telling my pregnant girlfriend who was driving we were parked in the wrong spot. Even though a sign 2 feet in front of out car said customer parking. We pointed that out and he said that was for fabric not metal. We apologized and said we didn't know. When my gf asked why he was pointing a bat at her when we didn't know and couldn't have. He said to leave and he didn't need her attitude. We called the police. The office lied about the bat they came out with and said we refused to repark. The police informed us that the business can trespass us for no reason. Refused to look at the video on premise where he did threaten us unprovoked. And jus asked us to take our business elsewhere because this place has a lot of problems with the homeless. SO WE WERE PROFILED, THREATENED BECAUSE OF A STEREOTYPE, AND THEN REFUSED ANY FUTURE SERVICE BECAUSE WE CALLED THE POLICE TO REPORT THEM FOR UNPROVOKED HARASSMENT AND THREATS OF VIOLENCE. i wish i could do more than leave a one star review and why the police refused to look at the businesses cameras to investigate our claims is beyond me and a separate issue. This place deserves NO BUSINESS WHAT SO EVER! Seriously take your scrap to west seattle recycling. Night and day how much better we were treated there!

Someone broke in my car stole a check for 96.00 dollars from them. Then I call to get help n they want to take 35.00 dollars from the check to stop payment. So i get ripped off n have to pay a fee. Man wish they dealt in cash so I didn’t have to wait to deposit a check over a holiday

Best all around scrap yard offering some of the best prices for your scrap, and precious metals, not to mention they have some of the friendliest and most helpful friggin' employees in the Greater Seattle area, definitely a scrap yard worth checking out! But note, they DON'T have a precious metal buyer employed any longer on Saturdays, but my fault for just browsing the comments and not calling ahead, 😖!

Brought 300lb of bright and shiny stranded and solid. and the guy is telling me that stranded wire doesn't qualify for #1. Since it's all mixed together it automatically becomes #2. Which drives the price down by about 20-30 cents. Waste of time

Went there a couple of weeks ago.. Super friendly service ..great people.. They were honest about what I really had and I'm very satisfied.. I'd recommend this company to anyone😊 Thank you Pac Iron & metal

the lady who wrote my ticket just ripped me off. my bucket of #2 copper on the scale clearly said 26 pounds and i got paid with a receite for only 15 pounds. i was turning in with my freind so i wasnt able to go back and say my peice but i wont b going back- owner is now clearly a liar because as i said, i was paid, but incorrectly...good luck with your rude and shady business
