List of Junkyards in King County
The Big Haul crew showed up at our home on time and with a positive, professional attitude. They completed the job quickly (taking stuff to the dump as part of our move). And then they volunteered to help me move a large piece of additional furniture just because I needed the help and had none. What a crew! I would never use anyone else. Best part: their sense of humor--so much fun to work with!

They were on time, they were polite, worked hard and fast. They were pretty amazing. I would tell any friends or family to use them. They really went above and beyond and kept the price at the full dumpster charge that was online. Their employee, Greg, did all the heavy lifting - fantastic!

The professionalism is at its highest quality! Very rarely do you find the mechanic that's not going to rip you off or tell you that you need to buy this buy that when you really don't. Peter and Freddie are the finest people I have ever worked with, there's no wonder why they've been there for years. Amazing experience every time I go there!!!

Address:411 W Valley Hwy S, Pacific, WA (Zipcode: 98047)Phone:Open hours:Open from 09:00 am to 04:45 pmStatus:ClosedHighway Robbery! Brought 1 of my catalytic converters in and they paid me a measly $75. The next day, I found out it was worth $500! Thank goodness I hadn't cut the second cat off my vehicle yet! I should've done my research better and I shouldn't have trusted that they'd be honest! Not to mention, when putting your recycling on the scale, you can't see the scale readout and you have to use their baskets on the scale, which you don't know how much they weigh or if it's zeroed for the baskets. They can literally write down any weights they want. I'll use the extra fuel to take my recycling to Calbags in Tacoma from now on! They're still honest as far as I can tell.

Address:7269 Rainier Ave S, Seattle, WA (Zipcode: 98118)Phone:Open hours:ClosedStatus:ClosedI forget the name of the person who helped me, he was a shorter man, but I came in looking for new windshield wipers. He came out to my car to measure, I bought them, he asked me if I’d like help replacing them (I’d otherwise YouTube this lol) and then asked me to test it out. I appreciate how prompt and helpful he was.

I was in an incredible bind and thought my car was a lost cause. Not only was he able to get the car sorted, but he did it for such a good price. It was also much less expensive than anybody else had quoted. Everything was taken care of in a timely fashion and the kindness and professionalism that Mike showed my family and I is something we are incredibly grateful for. Can't recommend them enough!

Address:1440 Leary Way NW, Seattle, WA (Zipcode: 98107)Phone:Open hours:ClosedStatus:ClosedThey sell used Volvo parts. Not much to say 10/10 They also will work on your car: Finding someone with such thorough knowledge of 80s Volvos is very helpful in this day and age for people keeping them running. They seem to stand by their work and charge a fair price. (They modified an aftermarket distributor for me because the original was no longer available. Total life saver and my car runs perfectly now) I did have a mistake that rubbed me the wrong way: After having the transmission swapped in my car, the kickdown cable was set so that it never reached the kickdown detent at full throttle. They explained their mechanic "usually gets it right the first time" and they'll readjust it. When I complained, they set it so that it hit the kickdown detent at only 1/2 throttle which is even more unhinged... Why would I want a car that doesn't shift out of 1st gear until 4000rpm?? I was able to set it myself with the engine off just by the feel of the throttle so that the detent was at the end of the pedal travel and it was perfect the first time. Definitely gives the sense that the mechanic might not know what he's doing. Especially since the service manuals explain how to set it using numerical measurements (the cool thing about numbers is they're the same every time) I did have two other issues that really weren't their fault as far as I can tell but my girlfriend was mad at me for not taking my car to Kim in the first place..

Address:13800 Se 32nd St, Bellevue, WA (Zipcode: 98005)Phone:Open hours:Open from 06:30 am to 16:00 pmStatus:ClosedThey have places to separate your trash from recyclables here which is great to see a way to help things get properly disposed of and reused if possible. The facility is actually fairly clean seeming and well maintained. The day I was there I did not notice a horrible stench but it was also a cool day outside so not sure what it's like on hot sunny summer days.
This looks like a small operation, goes directly to a private phone line. I needed an unlock on a Saturday evening and he was able to come by within the hour and get me going. $80 for the service, other tow places wanted to charge $300 with a 3 hour wait. Thanks!

They worked with me very digitally to find the right motor, however, was not able to. But in good faith they gave me a full refund and I was satisfied with that. I would recommend them to other's with no problem. Thank you.

Address:23711 63rd Ave SE, Woodinville, WA (Zipcode: 98072)Phone:Open hours:ClosedStatus:ClosedThis place is great, I went for the first time today (really my first time recycling anything for money aside from a few times doing aluminum cans as a kid) and it went about as smooth as I could have hoped and I left feeling like I got a great deal. I brought in 3 tubs of copper tubing, I wasn't totally sure if it was all #1, #2, or some kind of mix but I separated it as best I could. Turns out it wasn't even necessary because they just gave me #1 prices for all of it! I called another place before coming here and they told me that all copper tubing is #2, which didn't sound right to me but maybe I just didn't know what I had? Anyway, great place with great people working there. I will definitely be back!
work in the service sector of housing complexes, repairing household appliances, and often collect non-ferrous metals, copper, bronze, brass, and more. I always bring it to this collection point. Very nice people work here, they will always help you unload, they will clearly show you what to unload where and they will serve you quickly. I also really like their collection, which is located at the non-ferrous metal reception house. Respect and Respect. Thank you for your work.

Address:37307 Enchanted Pkwy S, Federal Way, WA (Zipcode: 98003)Phone:Open hours:Open from 09:00 am to 17:00 pmStatus:ClosedBest experience I have ever had purchasing a vehicle. They have vehicles with in all price ranges. Thanks to Leo's Affordable Used Auto I finally have a reliable truck an car. They put tires on the car without me asking. Recently they had a couple of parts for my motorcycle. True definition of one stop shop for repairs, parts, tires and Affordable Used Auto Sales. Owner is a strait up guy. If they don't have what you want chances are they will get it. They called me three weeks later. I don't plan to go anywhere else to purchase my vehicles.
I was doing a radio project at home and needed some copper wire of different gauge. It was my first time at this scrap yard and I was impressed with the selection and ended up getting more than what I initially thought I needed. Everyone was super helpful as the guys showed me around and helped me to fetch a longer thick wire and find other odd items. They also have long cuts of new CAT5,6 networking cable, something I didn't expect, but will keep in mind for the future. The price I paid was great too. Super happy, will be coming back!
