Some really cool old cars there and a decent price for parts. I have a 1989 honda prelude s at home in Washington and I spent a lot of time looking at the previous generation Honda Prelude, one from 1985 in red. It's sad that it isn't on the road anymore but I like junkyards because old cars can often be fixed with parts that still have plenty of life in them. I wish all the old cars a long life that come here for parts. This is the first junkyard I have ever went to and It was cool to just walk around, and take a bunch of pictures of some poor cars that will never run again. I wish modern cars were awesome and easy to repair like these old gems inside this junkyard.

The EPA needs to make a visit. I was looking for an A/C line on a jeep found 63 vehicles (before I quit counting) with sawzall cuts in the same place near the firewall. A/C refrigerant oil sprayed over the top of fenders. Had to go to Trusty’s and pay the higher price to get one. When I mentioned it to the guys they said not our yard and not our problem. They raise their prices then operate illegally.

This is a great junk yard. They have a couple other locations, so if you pay to get in at one of them then you can visit any of the others on the same day without having to pay again. They are usually friendly. When you first walk in they will ask you what make/ model/ year of car you are looking for parts for and they will make you a printout with the details and locations in the yard of any matching/ similar vehicles. They will want to check your tool bag on the way in and the way out to keep down theft, and if you are bringing in an old part with you to match it up they will mark it so you don't get charged for it on the way out. The $1 admission includes all the fuses, bulbs, clips, nuts, screws bolts and light sockets you want. They have wheelbarrows you can borrow for free and restrooms are available. You can buy any part you want, you just need to bring your own tools. The prices are extremely reasonable. I highly recommend this place.

I found some of the stuff I wanted. Small stuff like nuts/fuses is included with the $1 entry fee, so that's nice. The place is huge, use the wheelbarrow to carry your tools, that toolbox gets heavy fast!

I love to go here when I get off work early and can looks for parts for my car. It just feels nice to go in and do stuff yourself and leave not hurting the bank too much. Always a good time, and always have a large selection of gen 2 Subaru outback’s for me

All the parts anyone would need! In 2006 I gave you guys five stars today it's 2025 they lie they say one price you drive all the way down here and then they hit you with a higher price. You have lost four stars and now have a one-star rating I will not be returning. Fire the liars

This junkyard has great service, reasonable prices, and lots of vehicles to pull from. Wheelbarrows are provided for transporting parts and they offer a sink to clean up in after you've finished working. I've been here dozens of times and have zero complaints about this auto salvage yard.

I'm by no means a regular customer, but on occasion, and rarely I have an hour during business hours to stop into a wrecking yard. It was like many other times I have visited, usually pretty well organized and people were friendly enough. It was when I left that everything changed. All I can say is one better watch the clock because no warning is given to people in yard when this yard is closing. Depending on how much later you finally leave the yard, you may find someone yelling at you and very rudely telling you to drop what parts you have on the way out. My regular job involves needing to stay open until people leave and while I have frustrating nights, there is no reason to yell at customers. I was past 4 pm on Sunday. I can understand cashier tills being closed and the need to get home. Yelling and acting this way to people isn't good business. Check the times because you might even get locked in is all I am saying. My reply to the response: I think I am fair in making this experience known with the full admission that I missed the times. People need to get to their families. I too have had to miss time with my own family being at a job past closing time. It wasn't my intention to be over. It is my intention to raise awareness to a deeper problem and that is what warrants yelling and continuing to yell after being informed that they don't need to get angry with someone over an accident. While signs are posted, other yards I have been at have PAs and I have apologized as I do here for being there past the allotted time. I don't have much time to be there in the first place, but I do care about other people's time. Please consider that there are more situations than just that of those who work at a place. I will leave the star and will say the gentlemen that was working the counter was courteous despite the yelling in the back drop. Thank you for what it takes to provide such a service though, I do appreciate the effort it takes.

People there are awesome, But the inconsistency in prices is what the rating is for. Removed 1 engine and payed 80$ for what was left of the motor. Removed another, same condition and same make 325$ today. You find this out after spending a hour pulling a motor tends to leave a bad taste in your mouth. Pushed the wheelbarrow back outside with the motor in it and left. While I like the people I don’t have that kind of time to waste so will be looking elsewhere.

Great staff! Had a few questions they were able to help me out with and I got the part I've been putting off ordering. Really one of my favorite places and I could just go there to look at cars and trucks all day.

Your business isn't going to last with your current training, leadership and model. I came in to buy a piece of scrap metal from a panel that WILL go to a scrap yard for recycling. You guys insisted that a $5 piece of scrap from an unusable panel would cost me $100. You'll never see another dollar from me for trying to bend me over a barrel like that and I've spent a fair amount over the last couple of decades just trying to save a buck. I'll just buy new at cost parts now. I found a new sheet of metal 8x the size for $35 and you won't even get $100 for scrap rates now. One star for being stupid and not wanting money.

Great yard for domestics. Organized front office made everything go smoothly with my visit. The imports aren't as organized in the yard, I would recommend the Boise location over here for imports but I've only been to these two locations.

great place, amazing prices if you can find what you need, but the hours are just horrible in my opinion… 5:30 is a ridiculous time to close, and gives me basically no time to pull parts especially when I have to pick up my kids from school

So I kept my original post but also did my update on the bottom because I am so pleased with the owner. I called Wednesday 1/31 to have them pick up my truck to junk it spoke with Miguel he offered me $450 I wrote down then and everything he seemed so nice said they would pick it up on Friday. I heard nothing waited till late called they said oh we will pick up Saturday late afternoon. Nothing I called. The guy who answered the phone was soooo rude said you aren’t a priority we will pick it up when we pick it up I thought wow rude. I called back Miguel answered. He was super nice apologetic and said I’m so sorry we will pick it up early Sunday morning I reconfirmed th e price of $450. Which mind you called other places could’ve gotten $400. They finally picked it up Sunday morning. I came in today on Tuesday the 5th and went to give them my title they wrote the check out Miguel wasn’t there. He so lied to me he only gave me $350 the guy at the counter said tough was rude he said you can take the truck back if you want. Uh I can’t tow it back. Only reason I had to get rid of it is I don’t have anywhere to work on it and the resources to do so. It’s been great truck and I was on a time crunch to get it running. I have worked with jalopy jungle for many years and never been treated so badly and so rude. They got a truck that needs some things done to it that could be a $3,000 to the right person and I got measly $350. I just want done what’s right and to not be lied too.I will have to say I am now pleased thanks to the owner for personally calling me and talking to me and making the situation right he was so kind to me. I will definitely go back now thank you again for your kindness it makes a world of difference.

I don't spend a whole lot of time at scrapyards, in all fairness, however; there is little to no organization at the front desk. Employees are typically rude and unfriendly unless you're a frequent flyer. I was in need of a window switch for my car, and I called ahead to see if there were compatible vehicles on the lot. I was sent on a wild goose chase, and there were no vehicles on the lot with the parts I needed. The employee who sent me into the yard wasn't of much help, so I left empty handed. Yes there are lots of cars in the yard, but if you're looking for something specific, good luck. Do better y'all. Adding to this, I stated that the staff were rude, I was NOT greeted when arriving, instead I was glared down and was demanded payment of the entry fee. I let the counter employee know that I had called ahead asking for a specific year of Honda model, and was told, "I don't know, it's in row 60, 70, or 100, we don't have specific details." I mentioned frequent flyers, as I have a few friends who are at your location often and say they're treated very well. Evidently if you come in not knowing every little detail of how this place is run, you're scowled down and treated poorly by the staff. Highly unimpressed, and disappointed that the owner takes the time to twist reviews to their advantage. Will not be returning to any of your locations.

Love these guys. The cars are laid out so you tell them what car you are looking for, and they'll give you a print out with the exact location of cars that match that description. Prices are great.

Its is very clean and organized. You pay $1 at one location and can go into the other locations too. The employees are very helpful and sweet. Especially the new hire. He is very respectful and attractive. My favorite place to go. They have eveything u need there.

First time I came in, was reading the signage and looking for where to go/what to do to get started. One sales staff just stared at us and said "what?" It was really awkward. We had tools and although the signs said they needed to be inspected, they just passed us through. When I brought parts back to check out, was surprised at the cost of the items, but they let us put some back. I then returned a little over a week later to return some parts I didn't use. Slightly more welcoming then, but they didn't mark 3 of the vents last time and wouldn't give credit for those. I guess next time I have to remind the employee to mark all the parts? Not super inclined to do that since these guys are about as friendly as a box of wet rocks. Don't you want repeat customers? Be nice and build a warm relationship with your clients, jeez. The owner's overly defensive responses to a lot of these negative reviews aren't making me very comfortable with wanting to go back either. (Yes, I'm aware some customers lie or are unreasonable, but they can still have some tact...)

Came in to get multiple parts, Found the exact car and color bought over $300 worth of parts ended up not needing the fenders to find out we couldn't return them for in-store credit I get it if they were mangled but they are perfect condition it should be a case-by-case scenario so if anybody is looking at the reviews before they go to Jalopy Jungle and need a 2004 to 2007 Mazda fenders I have two for sale I paid $84 I'll sell them to you for $60

Workers here are rude and useless. One worker I'm guessing the manager even tried to walk up to me with his voice raised to try to intimidate. For the most part junkyards really do hire low quality junk people and this place is no different.

For the average person: I don't know. For the automobile, restorer: definitely. For me (personally), I have been going here for so many years (it depends on what specifically you are hunting for, that depends on the inexpensive deal.

I would have gave a 5 star if you didn't charge me a dollar to take a five minute look at a car just before closing. My niece was also charged again and she was there earlier to look at the same vehicle. Otherwise everything was good with friendly service.

I went there to get a window motor for a 1994 cutlass supreme. Online, new, with a 1 year warranty is less than 50$. The guy charged me 30$. I advised him I thought that was a little much for a motor that is used, has no warranty, and I could get a new one for 20$ more online. He was very rude, just shrugged his shoulders at me, and scoffed. I will not be going back there ever again. I hope others have a better experience.... after reading Jalopy Jungle's response - as I said, the same part online, new, with a 1 year warranty was only 20$ more, I feel like it would have been a much better deal that way instead of driving there and back, getting searched to see what I'm bringing in, walking around with a bag of tools, taking the time to pull the part, and getting treated rudely for no reason. The only reason i didn't just walk out without the part is because I was there, it was done, and I was tired. Thanks for the invite back, but no thanks!
