Mr. Tony at Crossroads Towing and Salvage is THE BEST!!! I needed a backup light for 1990 Toyota 4-Runner they had listed. As this was my first dealing with CTS, I called after I received the quote for the part. After talking to Mr. Tony, I knew the website was not a scam. He walked me through the entire purchase process from A to Z! He even called me back to let me now how the part was package for shipping! This was only a small part but Mr. Tony treated me as though I was buying a high dollar item. You CAN'T GO WRONG buying from CTS! Thank you Mr. Tony for all you help and patience!!!!!!!!!!! Bob. A bad experience made good in the end. I've been doing business with Jalopy Jungle for 25 years, and usually it's great, but today was an exception. I spent the entire day today pulling a bunch of parts at the Caldwell yard. At the end of the day I hauled my parts up to check out. Sales guy rang it up and told me the total. I asked if he could break down the prices for me so I knew if there was anything I could do without. Guy got very defensive, telling me he wasn't even charging me for the starter or water pump or any other accessories on the motor I'd pulled. I pointed out I'd removed all the extra accessories and asked which accessories I had that would be extra. According to the display board, all the parts attached to the engine were included with the price of the engine. The guy then said if I was going to be that way, he'd add on costs for things like the intake manifold and other parts that are clearly included with an engine. I told him I obviously wasn't going to pay for those parts separately, and asked him if he could just break down the prices for me like I'd asked so we could get the transaction done. He refused, and told me that he would not sell me the parts. He told me I can talk with the manager tomorrow if I want. So I guess that's what I'll have to do. Very displeased with this guy's lack of professionalism. Equally annoyed that I'll now have to drive back to Caldwell from Boise to get the parts I spent all day pulling just because this guy decided to go on a power trip. UPDATE: I spoke with the manager, Jason, who apologized for my experience and invited me to come back out and complete my purchase. When I got there we talked about what had happened and he assured me they'd work to do better. That says a lot about a company. People are going to make mistakes. What really matters is how people respond after a mistake. Thanks Jason.

I wasn’t blocking anyone, wasn’t in the way — just parked for 5 minutes. Some guy comes out barking like I was stealing catalytic converters. Super rude for absolutely no reason. You’d think a place surrounded by junk cars wouldn’t be so uptight about 5 minutes of harmless parking. Never doing business here

Not only did they have it available it was a lower price than jalopy jungle and I didn't have to take it out of the vehicle myself. It actually cost less than if I was to buy the same part at jalopy which it wasn't a guarantee of the correct fit this was a perfect fit. Thank you to the team at the Nampa LKQ you guys are amazing I appreciate you the whole team you guys are awesome.
Some really cool old cars there and a decent price for parts. I have a 1989 honda prelude s at home in Washington and I spent a lot of time looking at the previous generation Honda Prelude, one from 1985 in red. It's sad that it isn't on the road anymore but I like junkyards because old cars can often be fixed with parts that still have plenty of life in them. I wish all the old cars a long life that come here for parts. This is the first junkyard I have ever went to and It was cool to just walk around, and take a bunch of pictures of some poor cars that will never run again. I wish modern cars were awesome and easy to repair like these old gems inside this junkyard.

I Come in quite often and Manny, Justin and Kari are the ones who have helped me most great people, and a great place to find the parts that you need. I could spend all day back there, imagining what I could do with all of these, the parts swapped into another vehicle. You just let them know what you're working on. They can go through their system and accurately tell you what they have out in the yard and where it is. These people are awesome.
Closed on Saturdays, this true?? So drive out from Boise on a day they are supposed to be open. (Monday) and find handwritten sign on office door saying “closed today”. Right next to the “open M-F “ doesn’t matter if you call first because the phone just rings and rings. So you assume they are busy with a customer, or out in the yard. A simple answering machine message “sorry we are closed today” would be simple enough. Nope, you gotta drive all the way out to find out. Hate leaving bad reviews but that’s just lazy. I had no issues with the old drunk dudes years ago.

It was our first auction experience and bought a class A RV. We spent a couple days here looking at the RV and talking to the staff. And they were ALL extremely helpful and so happy for us when we won. This purchase is literally live changing, and we have nothing but great memories of our entire experience. That is really saying something given the horror stories we've heard and the expectations we had. Thank you again to all your staff! Also, the yard guys are amazing. The way they sling cars around on those forklifts is a sight to see! And they were super friendly.

He gives respect when it is given to him. He makes most of his money from scraping the vehicles that he has in his yard, and lets people pull parts off the vehicles in between scrap metal pick ups.He has a small collection of classic cars and parts that are getting harder to find, and he is very fair with the prices. I have been buying parts off of him for over ten years now and have NEVER had issues with him. He has in the past had problems with people going into his yard and stealing parts from him and haggling him on his fair prices. This may explain why he is leery of certain types of people he lets in his yard, I would be too.I felt it important to take the time to leave a positive review for him because he really is a good guy that has never been mean to me or tried to rip me off in the ten years that I have done business with him. There aren't many pick-a-part yards out there as there use to be, and there will be fewer in the future. I value his business as well as his friendship and would recommend his business to anyone.
