This is my go-to place for car parts. It is not user friendly, however. There is no restroom. The entrance/exit have been reconfigured so that the entrance is near the disabled parking, but the exit is very far from the disabled parking. One is required to walk an extra (and rather long) distance to the new exit, only to have to walk that same distance back to return to the parking space. This is rather daunting after a physically demanding trek through the yard and back.

It’s a good thing their website is thorough because their customer service is pitiful. Front desk guy couldn’t even look up from his phone to say that it would take 45 mins to pull a taillight assembly (5 mins tops) off and would charge 150% of what the part is new. That included a $35 labor fee?! What’s the point of calling this place ‘PICK’ a part if they keep all of their good cars in the private lot and force you to pay expensive fees for lazy work. This place is a racket. Go to CAP-Chesterfield Auto Parts in Richmond if you have the time. First time I went and it will be the last, unfortunately. That being said, their parts are a great deal if it’s from a vehicle in the main lot. That’s the catch.FYI, if you’ve never been, any vehicle located in the 900 rows you can’t access. They charge you to pull the part to make a little extra, which ends up being more expensive than a new part. Seems like they’ve forgotten the idea of a junkyard. This place would be comparable to other junkyards if they opened up the private lot for anyone to access. Quit trying to make a quick buck and focus on being a solid business that people want to come back to.

Called ahead of time to make sure they had my vehicle on the lot and the man on the phone said they had 4 and they would help me find them, so I made the drive. When I got there the girl in the window seemed clueless but managed to print the location of the vehicles (800 section) so I walked onto the lot only to find out the sections aren't numbered. Asked a couple of guys and they tried to help but said the place is completely unorganized which I found to be the case. I couldn't find the vehicles and ended back at the entrance. I asked the girl in the window how to find the 800 section and she didn't know. Wasted almost 2 hours and 2 dollars for nothing.

They have no organization at all and then they got you walking in slop just to see that they strip off anything worth getting before setting it out in the yard. Worst JY I’ve ever been to and employees are not pleasant at all really a 0 star

Ok place at times but some of those guys that answer the phones definitely need a few classes on communication skills with the attitude makes you want to go through the phone lol but good place to get cheap parts

Great place to go for the person who knows what they are looking for. Inventory and yard seems to change every day, some disorganization, but Ive always found the parts I was looking for. Benefit of these places is price advantage, I've saved a boatload of cash picking my own parts. Its like having a junk yard in your backyard, without actually having it in your backyard. I've always had great interactions with staff, but then again I treat them like people, like how I like being treated. Pay $2, get a smiley stamp, bring a date and some tools. Its a part pickin' palooza apocolyptic like mechanic paradise!

Good place,it's a salvage yard, not a hair salon, you will get dirty, you might get your shoes muddy, but where else can you find oem parts for cars they don't make anymore, they have lots of domestic cars and they are always getting new stuff, you will get dirty and dusty but it's all part of the fun, cordless impact is a must
