Went there recently and at first I thought I found a goldmine, LOTS of old hard to find cars, then, I seen they were ALL picked to death. Place is dangerous to navigate through and this lady seems to have “amnesia” when she tells you something. Lied about returning my money on a part. I’ll look elsewhere. Waste of time...

Loved the guys here, I called on a holiday, the lady Betty, answered all my questions and even called me back twice when my phone dropped the call. Refreshing to get treated like a person, down home feel. She was so sweet and had someone at my house within an hour!! The driver Alan was very professional and polite...cant say enough good about my experience, I will definitely use them again and highly recommend that anyone in the market for used parts check them out . You will not be disappointed.

First off Betty is my sister and she is a sweetheart. We all have bad days and we all are at times mis interpreted. She should know her cars, she has been in the business for as long as I can remember. There are 19 years between her and I. Older cars, yes, My first car came from her yard, a 71 Chevy Vega. She truly is a sweet woman.

I picked up a tailgate for my PU here. The woman who runs the place accurately described the condition of the part and her price was better than anybody else in the area. I don't agree with the complaints that the proprietor is "unprofessional" or otherwise difficult. This is not a day spa; it's a wrecking yard. It's also an interesting place to visit, with lots of older vehicles, as well as newer stuff. You have to drive up a steep and narrow dirt road, and there isn't much room to turn around, so don't bring a trailer unless you have to.

I went there today and, though I did not find the part I was looking for, I did locate another one I needed. When I first called, the woman who answered the phone seemed curt, direct and demanding to me but that was only a first impression. It takes a while to get to the office up the dirt road but once I got there her demeanor had changed completely and I found her to be a super sweet lady who is very easy to deal with. And in spite of the "Beware of Dog" sign, the ones to be found there are a Yorker and an adorable giant dachshund mix. I would not recommend driving a large rig up there, however, due to the fact that the turnaround at the end can be difficult. Best with a small truck such as a Toyota or a Chevy S-10.

The lady who answered the phone is extremely unprofessional. I don't care if this is a junkyard and people say "you shouldn't expect 5 Star service" This is also their business, which they need to treat with respect, and the customers who come there to spend their money need to be treated with respect. She answered the phone with just a "Hello" and I asked if this was the junkyard and she goes "Yea why". What kind of service is that? Then I asked if they had a certain type of car there and she cuts me off and goes "What is it" almost like she was mad that I asked. I asked for what I needed and she quickly, it seemed like she didn't even check, she goes "No". I mean how much more unprofessional could you get? Funny thing is I was ready to spend upwards of $1,000 on parts that i need. Not anymore though, she ruined it for them. I'll go buy elsewhere as I recommend everyone else should.

everyone leaving negative comments is wrong, you don't go to a salvage yard for 5 star customer service, you go to finish your restoration or maybe complete your car. Betty treats customers just fine, shes always been helpful to me. when customers call it should be short sweet and to the point. they have a business to run. ive been going here for years never had a SINGLE problem

I'm glad to know this place is still there. I've walked that entire yard several times back in the 90's looking for parts on a 60's resto. This yard is awesome, cars covered by bushes, vines, trees growing up in and around them. Old cars, hills, and narrow dirt trails. Reminds you of Deliverance. The owner is straight to the point and no time for BS, but helpful nonetheless. Wish she had a list of cars that you could access online as it would save trouble calling or searching. Word of caution, if you can go in the fall or winter as these cars can be full of bees an snakes --- plus you can see them more after the overgrowth dies back.

    hello good question

I have 20 plus years as a welder, journeymen mechanics, etc.Note: if I would of read the reviews before going to this place I would have never gone (2 & 3 stars). But since I did not read reviews until after I went there, I feel these people are not giving a good review. I went there and spent about an hour with the women and her son. There were busy, but very helpful. There is more than just one person for them to take care of & they do take care the persons that are first and tried and did work me in. So, my first impression is a 5 star rating and would recommend there place to anyone. You just have be a little patient & understand there real working atmosphere!

I've never wrote a review- but the woman who answers the phone is AWFUL. I called looking for a tire, I have no idea what- I just had the make of our car, she was so rude as I was asking my husband what kind and size of tire. This lady will never get references- and I'll never call back to inquire again. If anyone asked me about needing any spare parts, I'd tell them "Don't call the first one that pops up in google". After I got off the phone with her- I read the reviews. ALL ARE TRUE! lol
