I come here alot. I bought these shocks and they ended up being bad. They have numbers on them but they cant refund them without a reciept. Just posting on here to let people know you will not get store credit. It was a 30 dollar lesson for me which is cheap. If you get something high dollar like an engine make sure you save. The. Reciept.

I went there to get a steel rim for my car for a spare and there was an old used tire on it that held air so I ask how much and they said 55.00! The guy wanted more for the tire than for the tires on the rack. And for parts that they’re basicly going to throw away. The guy had attitude from the beginning. Tried to reason that it doesn’t make sense to sell something that you will probably throw away. Instead of selling it for 30-35 bucks which is more than fair, he wouldn’t accept anything less than 55, and kept spewing its out policy. Ask to speak to the manager who immediately came in with an attitude. Was rude, dismissive and very unprofessional. I own 4 old cars and could’ve brought in a lot of business. And told them so. It didn’t seem to matter. I hope the owner reads these reviews and realizes the people he’s chosen to hire is losing business for him. I’ve been to a few pic n pulls and have always got good service, but this place is the worst. Retrain or hire some new people. Would not recommend this place to anyone. Pic n pull is for ppl who can’t afford to take their car to a shop. A cheap way to maintain their cars. This place just price gouges and defeats the purpose. I’ll be driving to Sacramento to avoid this place.

Read the return/exchange policy before you buy! Doesnt matter if purchased 10 minutes before and you never got out of the parking lot with your parts. We asked the sales clerk directly can we return the parts and it was stated YES you can, but we would have to return both parts and could not keep either. This was for a plastic grill and bumper, what does one have to do with the other? They are not attached and priced as two seperate items each as a individual part. That makes no sense to have to return both. The clerk made no mention of return with store credit ONLY, They will ONLY give you store credit, and only have one make and model of my specific car. Yes, we should have read the policy but the employee also should have stated this fact before the transaction was complete. Feeling a bit scammed. I would have given 0 stars but I had to at least give one to post. Hopefully I can take my receipt to another location to get the parts I need as it states on the company policy. frustrated for sure!

Called ahead to drop off a vehicle and once had loaded it and driven 45 minutes there they told me they couldn’t unload it because they couldn’t spread the forks on their forklift. Absolutely clown show Don’t waist your time with them

If you go to the website you can se what cars are there before you arrive. If you can find your car on the website look for similar makes and models on the website. Every car i found on website is there, and occasionally i find one that wasn't.

I was inquiring about a stereo that proved to not work so I asked the guy okay being it does not work how much for give you a dollar if he goes oh no I have to have at least $20 it's the sale price that we have for a stereo going on right now. I said even for a broken stereo, he said yes he said people are weird they will buy anything even if it's broke. I walked out shaking my head.

Horrible service, I went to buy a set of tires and wheels and they had put the 2 best on the top, told me they were out of air because they were on the floor for months, when I took them off the stack they had put the 2 worst on the bottom both definitely had forklift damage and one a gouge in the sidewall, they wouldn't return my money and only gave me a store credit, manager seemed upset with me are argumentative, I wanted my money back as I had not even taken the wheels, they also confirmed that I was right by taking the wheels off the floor to the yard. Just don't buy their wheels until you look at them thouroughly this was me trusting them

Was here at 430 their doors already closed and locked but business hours say close at 5pm. No employees at the desk either i can see they are hiding in the break room just to kill time. So yea 0 stars for wasting my time driving here.

Quick service and friendly, place was clean, got a decent offer on my old manual drive Sonata without the hassle of readying it for donation. Done within 30 minutes. Be well, old friend.

Just had a friend pick up a small part for a my 97 Subaru. The women on the phone was very helpful and friendly in targeting the right part fit for my year vehicle. After the phone contact, my friend went to the yard and got the perfect part; said he had a good experience there. So, mission accomplished and successfully so.

This place is a joke! My family has been going to pick n pull for well over 15 years. We always had good service and the prices were more than fair. I moved away from the area and recently returned. I have been to pick n pull 4 or 5 times since my return. Each visit there seemed to be something negative that happened with the employees there. And, it appears that the prices have jumped substantially. Not a little but, an outrageous amount on most things. A couple of the women that work there seem to have quite an attitude. They seem bothered by questions. Their prices are way out of line. Their website quotes one price but, wjen you go to pay at the store the price is something completely different! Higher! This happened with 4 different parts! I will no longer be going thete for my car part needs. Nor do I recommend this place anymore. It isn't what it used to be. I will travel to someplace else for my used car parts.

Friendly service, found what I needed. Prices seem a little high for what I was getting but still cheaper than a new part.

The prices are good. The staff service is good enough. I did not like being given a key to match to a tire that didn't fit my car though. Now I have this tire I can never use because refunds are in store credit only. No thank you.

I go there all the time. They are always courteous and helpful. Even though I lost my $400 phone there the other day. They have been keeping an eye out for it. And I've searched everywhere. To no avail. But it's ok. I bought another one today. But being an auto mechanic? I work on many different cars all the time. And when I go, I'm usually looking for and/or pulling parts for several cars at a time. So note to self? Leave your phone in your vehicle when you go. It's easy to loose. Great work though. Fun place to learn too. Rather than tear your vehicle up replacing the part? Go here to take one apart first. So you know how it works and is assembled. Then go work on yours. Just a tip

I liked the work ethic of the guy checking people in. He was honest and direct as well as bilingual. No BS. That's essential when it comes to cars. However I am giving a lower rating because my husband bought a vehicle and was checking out at the vehicle purchase counter. That service needs massive improvement. Only 1 employee( out of 3 sitting there) took the time to look up the name of the item we needed to complete the purchase requirements. 2 women and a man. When I asked a question not only did 2 employees turn their back and ignore my question. I had to follow-up with " did you hear me?". Then got a response from one of the women. The man acted as if I wasn't there. They then asked for a signature for paperwork and never proceeded to say your all set to go to the DMV. In fact they said nothing. My hubbie had to ask if we were done. 👎 customer service.

One of my favorite places to spend the day wrenching on cars! Great inventory and competitive pricing. It is a great alternative to paying full price for auto parts at one of the big box stores (Napa, O'Reilly's, AutoZone, etc.) Especially if you enjoy the act of wrenching on automobiles instead of just the need to get the part quickly for less money.

I really don't like having to stand there waiting to get in. In the old days I would just leave my money on the counter sign in and be on my way without having to wait on anybody. Now they hide the sign in sheet and are in no hurry to check you in. Prices aren't that great, a lot of things aren't much cheaper than a new part and some parts are actually cheaper to buy new. These days I only go for the oddball parts that are hard to find online but then I get reamed on the price because the things I buy aren't on their stupid price chart.

If you're a felon with bad credit don't even try to apply and as for the company being a second chance employer not even close. But if you're looking for a large selection of Honda or Toyota and this surprised me even Benz and Subaru then it's the place for you. I bought my 2001 Civic motor there and sad to say it got a speeding ticket for 127 mph on my way to Chico on the 70, so yeah most likely anything you get from there is good.

I come here often as it is the only pull your own parts lot in Chico, and their prices aren't terrible and they usually have what I'm looking for. Now for the reason for my poor rating. I recently sold them my vehicle because it was beyond totalled between the failing transmission, bad catalytic converter, busted wheel bearing, heavy power steering leak, among other things. I divulged all of this when selling them my vehicle and oddly enough they offered me more in store versus their online valuation. So I was happy with that, but after going back multiple times recently I discovered they are selling my car as a "builder" car for way more than they paid for it. I asked them about my old car, not knowing I was the previous owner, and they said they don't know what's wrong with it and is being sold as is...for almost 10 times what they paid for it. I watched the woman take notes as I described the issues the vehicle had when I sold it to them, so they in fact DO know what is wrong with their builder cars, they just won't tell you before you waste your money on those broken cars. Super shady.

We got there and found the truck with the part we needed. But the truck was sitting on the ground. So we went to get our jack. But you can't bring in your jack and they don't loan Jack's. So we had to walk from car to car and find one. So now we have a jack. Get in under and pull out the tools. Start wrenching and they call over the bullhorn it'd closing. They closed an hour and a half early. We drove 70 miles to waist 4 buck and not get our part

They have definitely done some improvements when it comes to checking in and out. Everyone was nice and helpful. The help they give you when you sign in is nice but there is far more in the back. Just look around you will find what you need.

This place was a complete mess- no organization at all and employees were not helpful & didn't even attempt answer my questions. Also, the cherry on the top- the guy at the front desk shorted me $20 - on my change. I gave him a $100 bill & my total was $56.... he gave me $24 as my change!!! I was in a hurry which is why he probably took advantage in the first place so I didn't notice till I was home... There with the receipt was $24 wadded up... I guess it's my bad for not double checking it and assuming people ( especially people in his position) would be honest.... You live & you learn... Right

I love the place it's easy for finding the things I don't want to pay outrageous parts prices for. However customer service sucks. They claim to have loaner tools all which are some sockets and a busted wrench or two. They close at six pm but refuse entry starting at five.
