Two out of three people I dealt with were nice. The first guy was very helpful. The second guy, not so much. Guy #2 was a tool and Guy #1 called him out for being a tool. They then had a little argument about Guy #2’s toolishness. Funny, but unprofessional. I had a stainless steel grill which the second guy claimed wasn’t stainless. The manufacturer says it is and the guy’s magnet didn’t stick to it. So, ultimately I was conned out of a couple bucks. I didn’t argue about it because I’m not a scrapper and I just wanted to get out of there. The lady at the desk was nice. I won’t be back.

So the details of my experience is that I went up there with well over 70 lb of number one copper that I had been saving and building for several months and they pulled some Shifty stuff up there and told me my weight was only 46 lb which the man pulling it off the scale could barely even lift when I go up there usually there's a lady work in the window and that stuff never happens but today I guess they had the run of the mill and taking advantage of people I scrap metals pretty common and I and pretty close to the mark of what I'm getting paid before I go to the place. Well I feel I've been robbed this time

I'd like to say thank you to the taller gentleman with glasses that works up by the pay window. I literally knew nothing about scrap other than it's very hard work and dirty. I was helping my friend clean out her house that was badly damaged due to a fire and we decided to take whatever we could that was still semi-good but not reusable. The gentleman was very polite eventhough you could visibly see he was exhausted from I'm guessing lots of silly questions plus the heat. He still tried to help me best he could. I appreciate you sir! I'm guessing you don't hear that often enough. If I decided to do this regularly, I will do my research first on products and the breakdown bc you did not have to educate me. That was not your job so again thank you!
