Recycle yard open on weekdays, and even Saturdays for convenience. They take metals and even electronic scrap like computer towers, hard drives, and circuit boards. It may take a visit to understand their yard flow, but after that it works well. One of the only ones in town where you can actually see the truck scale weight, so you know what you weigh going in and out. Quick pay for your recyclables, and I have always gotten good customer service.

Went here to what is formally Wise Recycling for the very last time on Friday October 4th and it was raining. I came in and went right to the scale with one older gentleman to pull behind me and we were only customers on the entire yard. I placed my 50 lbs of Copper on mthe scale with my toate as instructed to do. The got the weight then started pulling approximately 8 ft extension cord out of my toate that was all romex and secondary copper besides that short cord. I scrap copper maybe once every 2 years and prefer myric street off navy over any especially these cheap desperate folks. So, I was told to pull out, park come back to window. I did. Which at that time I was paid $.81 cent a pound for my Copper which I felt was certainly wrong. I nearly made it to my vehicle when I headed back and ask the liar which is a tall skinny feller with a ballcap and glasses that was running scales. I said sir, this isnt right. I've never been paid so low for copper before and why is this. He informed me I had number 2 scrap and that was right. I said ok. And then went to vehicle where I checked price and seen it should have paid at least $2.50 a lb. And that's knocking heads. So I went back and ask if they had a sheet or something that would inform me to let me know what is considered number two scrap because the same wire has never paid me this low or been considered number two scrap before. He informed me that anything other than number two scrap is wire considered to be number two or number one but is starting out size of a number 2 pencil. I still felt this wasn't correct and just went on back to my vehicle. As I go to my vehicle the older gentleman that was behind me said son can I speak with you. I said absolutely and approached him. He says did you get paid a low price for that wire you had? I said yes sir 81 cent a pound. He said well son they got you and the reason being you received so low is because you had that piece of extension cord in there if that had not been in there you would have been paid the $2 plus price. I said really. He said yes sir absolutely. So I go back and approach the gentleman again at the scales and give him the information that the older gentleman in the parking lot just told me. This time he informs me that yes sir that's our policy though if you have anything other than what is the above grade one or two it's below a scrap then all the load is paid a scrap. I said so that one wire is what was scrapping the rest would have been number two he said yes sir but our policy is we have to pay the lowest price for what's in the whole pile. So wishing I wasn't at their place of business because homeboy I would have split your wig for lying to me straight up and not educating me on what I done wrong so I could do it differently next time. I think that's very crappy that he was going to have me thinking with that Astrid she probably put next to my name that I don't know any better of what is the difference between one two and number two scrap so always pay him the low price. It took another customer informing me of why I was shitted out of my money and then he tells me about their policy will prior to knowing why I got the low price it was all my wire was the wrong wire I mean really on a rainy day no customers but myself and one other you can't educate me on this and you lie to me twice making me think that I'm bringing in the wrong stuff that's very cowardly of all of you and all of you new what my problem was except maybe the lone haired fellow that handed me my money because he couldn't see me continuously coming back. And I probably should have been speaking with him to begin with but it's okay I know now never do business there again because y'all are looking to bust heads instead of do good business y'all are bad business and that's a fact Jack.

Unprofessional employees been taking my scrap there for my business for years and first they want to be rude and disrespectful throwing my stuff in my trailer saying go somewhere else because they didn’t have my business license on file since they changed names. Never going back again and having others I know who deal with them take their stuff somewhere else. Never dealt with anything like that before for over 15years. They sell 5 weeks ago and have attitudes and don’t care.

This morning I went to Renew Recycling (Former Wise Recycling) and had an issue. I could find only Do Not Enter and Exit Only then finally found the entrance. A gentleman took my ID and told me to turn left then right go on scales then exit and go to blue building. There were no directional signs and roadways were narrow and filled with metals debris. Once I left the scales, I headed towards the blue building and I saw someone dump their metal. At this time, a white male employee yelled at me and told me it's wrong way. I tried to get directions and more yelling. I left the yard and got my ID from someone else and stated I would go elsewhere and no reason to yell at me. Maybe it's a better idea to have markers like other recycling companies do. I recently moved and wants to try this site out - never again and EMR has always been nice to me.

They run the place pretty well, once you get in. It can be confusing to know where to go in order to get started, if you've never been before. When the dropoff line backs up and blocks Hope Rd, the entryway can get blocked as well. Signage leaves much to be desired, too. Payment is equivalent to other recyclers. Be prepared to wait. If you don't know something, don't guess, just ask. They don't know you don't know something, if you don't say something to them.

I got $300 here more than once selling old computers. Its kinda scary and loud and chaotic when it is busy and the rules and stuff change and are not posted anywhere but that may just be because we are dumb about stuff like this. Dont believe all these bad reviews its a junkyard it is what it is, 5 stars they were there for us when we needed extra money and we are glad they were!

I went to this place to sell some of my stock in aluminum cans in which I had weighed myself on a new digital scale. I had done a couple sample tests with it and it proved to be accurate so after going down there and dumping my stock into the bin provided, it was weighed, I was sent to the cashier and after getting my receipt I had noticed that I was shorted 10 lbs. As I was standing at the window before then I witnessed some employees putting strips of aluminum that a customer had brought onto the front scale and had showed nothing which startled the employees that said "I know these things have to weigh something" they quoted. So anyway the scales there don't seem to be very accurate at all and I won't be going there again.

The employees are unfriendly, especially the guy who thinks he run the whole recycling yard (Will). They are rounding your payment and the scale removed 20 pounds from my weight on numerous occasions. Take your stuff to a better and honest location that will render respectful customer service.

It could use some better instructions, but we were able to get unloaded just fine. We dropped off an old mower and the crane operater picked it up and threw it on to the top of the pile. It was a great sight and the people who work there are awesome.

Crooks!!!!! Rather than be helpful and offer any customer service, basically stole $300+ from me. I unloaded 600 lbs of aluminum extrusion and I had 5 lbs of aluminum sheet on same load- when I got to the window and cashed out they gave me sheet price for the entire load!!!! And I also witnessed the 2 guys weighing and recording exchanging cash right on front of me. I'm sure that was their kick back for robbing me!!! Auto shred from here on out.

My first time bringing a friend to exchange post-hurricane Sandy metal debris here. Confusion and direction was unclear as soon as we found the entrance. So she and I waited &waited until one very busy employee came to see what we might be doing in the space I’d suppose is best guess. In short, wow what a racket the payment system is! Not compared with the weight. I mean the arrangement for rounding customers exchange rate would make an IRS agent blush.

Don't bother bringing anything here unless you don't mind driving through their lot that's full of nails, screws and bolts. We walked in with what we had and they refused to take it because the "camera needs to see it come out of your truck"

Took my only car and never removed title out my name. Disabled and cannot have two cars in my name! so, now, I cannot own a single car till I get back to work. Very very disapointed with these people. You tell me how I can get to my appointments on time and not rely on others in doing so! They say people that "play by the rules" lose... Well here is another example of this... another good guy being taken for in regards to time and money...

The process was quick and easy and the employees were very friendly and helpful but the price paid was not as good as other scrap yards in the area.. that being said it was 2 miles from my house and the whole process took less than 5 mins.

Lacked vital information as to how to work ur way through..no signs..and no one to help us unload as we were told..too over an hour to work thru..and the payoff wasnt worth the time or gas money wasted getting there and sitting ..waiting on our turn..needs new management..no user friendly to the public..suggest a different recycler business..left frustrated

Very unorganized they unloaded my trailer without getting the weight they guesstimated that I had $4,000 of steel which I know for a fact I had at least 5,500 lb of steel I drove from 2 hours away for 380 bucks
