I needed to part with my 2002 Ford Explorer that quit running and was just sitting in the yard. I called Shroyer's and they helped me get it out of the yard and bought it to use for parts before it is scrapped. I worked with Patrick, Tyler, and Curtis. They were all very nice and professional. Great service!!! Also, if you are in need of any specialized towing, I highly recommend Tyler. If he can not do it, it can't be done. Thank you!

This is probably the most interesting store in Lansing. Shroyer's buys Lansings cast offs, sorts the good more interesting items out and then recycles the rest. Large assortment of interesting items laid out on the ground "garage sale" style and priced dirt cheap. Constantly changing inventory moves quick due to low pricing. If you see something you may want you better get it right then cuz someone else (me) might snatch it out of there by time you get back there.

The owner will charge you extra things that the car didn't get done. The owner is super rude. I do not recommend

Bought an engine from Chris for my 2009 Ford Escape. Couldn't be happier with my purchase and experience. He was extremely professional on the phone and in person. His customer service was excellent. When I arrived, he showed me the engine and helped load it into my truck. Very polite and helpful. Got the engine installed and it runs great!! So glad I came here and got what I needed. Shout out to Chris for all his help! Thank you so much. Highly recommend.

Went in to see if they had a rearview mirror for my '09 ford focus I could use. They said they would check, took down my number and said they would call. They never called back. The employee behind the counter was very disinterested, and did not seem to want to help me with anything. It was as if I was inconveniencing him by providing him business. Not a good company IMHO

These guys are Great 5 stars! Showed up late from out of town. Part was ready to go. And exactly as described. Also went out and got a different part for me on the spot near close. Excellent Staff that goes above and beyond to make sure the customer is satisfied. Good Service. Good Parts. Good People. Don't get that a lot these days. Have to right a review when it happens. Let em know you appreciate the hard work and great customer service.

Let’s be honest. Nobody wants to have their car towed or pay an arm an a leg to have it done. But if you absolutely have to get it done. Call these guys. Ron(Rod)? took good care of us and even made us laugh in a stressful situation. The cost was not too bad, and he even helped us diagnose the car issue and recommended a couple reputable shops to get the work done!

Got an overpriced quote for a drivers seat and a floor liner out of a van but I agreed as I needed it. They told me they would have it ready the next day and would call me. 2 hours later I have my drivers seat and liner ripped out and new ones from a different place installed in my van. No phone call next day. It would have taken them 10 minutes to rip 3 seats out and pull a liner up. Guy at counter seemed glum, no response when I told him to have a good day. Never again will I attempt to give this place any business. Go to Cats if you want good service and fair priced parts

HORRIBLE!! Purchased a transmission with 70k miles with a 90 day warranty. They did not tag the transmission to say "NO FILTER" nor did they send warranty papers, which is standard business practice. My technician who has over 20 years experience and is Certified and who current works at a well known dealership installed the transmission. Transmission would not go in gear. Talked to Shroyer and they told him to install a filter. After doing so the transmission worked for a little over a month and now transmission doesn't work. A conference call took place with me, my technician and Cody 1st conversation was yes it should've been tagged per THEIR transmission guy and Cody. Cody was helpful but couldn't make a decision though he knew and acknowledged that there was no tag. Also was stated by Cody was his manager is the one who tags and ships the transmissions. The manager denied the refund knowing it was his fault that he did not properly tag the transmission and everyone that participates in the inspection processed has stated that it was NOT tagged!! So now I'm out of over $1,000 with the cost of transmission, shipping and my technician installing it!! Not to add I have to pay him again to put another transmission!! I AM SO SICK OF THE LACK OF INTEGRITY OF THESE LACK LUSTER BUSINESSES!! MOST OF US WORK HARD FOR OUR MONEY TO PROVIDE FOR OUR FAMILIES AND DON'T HAVE MONEY TO THROW AWAY BECAUSE YOU MR MANAGER DIDN'T DO YOUR JOB AND REFUSED TO FIX YOUR MISTAKE!!

I've called Shroyers twice in the last couple years for towing. They had the flatbed my vehicles required. They showed up quickly, performed professionally and charged fairly. I keep them as a contact in my phone and they would always be my first call for a tow in the Lansing area. I've bought used parts from them a few times. They were helpful and priced right.

Locked my keys in my car, thought I was a prank call, refused to bring anyone out to help me. I explained to them I had called the police but they don't carry the tools anymore to help me and my triple A membership expired so I wasn't able to get road side assistance. Steve was very rude and refused to send help my way because he thought I was a prank call, after I explained my dilemma and how long I had been on hold for them he still refused to send them out. I finally was led to call the north side towing company who were there in under 10 minutes. I would not recommend calling this company as they will think you are a prank call and I would recommend north side because they will send someone in a hurry to help you. I wouldn't recommend this company to anyone as they will not trust you or help you in this case. Will be trying to contact corporate later to find out why I was refused service.

I heard the manager JP call my boss a "DICK" over the phone. We just ordered a part, they gave us a price and then called back and told us to change our google review. Who begs for good reviews when there service sucks? We have had many issues with them calling us back within a timely manner, If you want us to change our review, maybe have better customer service. And he might want to watch his mouth telephone tough guy over there. I would never employ someone that called a customer a DICK.

Helpful staff. Obscure part in stock & already pulled for similar price than a "u pull" scenario. Verified part by part # & appearance prior to purchase and had bolts, wire harness, etc still w/ part saving me a bit of cash and avoiding hassle on install. Great staff, easy to get to from Mason, Holt, Eaton Rapids, South or West Lansing. If u need to do a quick fix for your car, wife's car, kid's car go here first.

STAY AWAY! They will extort you. They were extremely rude and unhelpful. Not professional, made snarky comments its a racket that benefits the city and themselves my situation with them was so bad I'm forced to contact the BBB and file a complaint with the attorney general. Just a warning I'm out a lot of money because I was not Informed until 12 days after they picked up vehicle the whole time it was racking up storage fees, $35 a day but you know, consumers have no rights

The customer service at this place is a joke. The employees are rude. Called for 4 days trying to get a couple parts even had to waist gas and go out to location because they said they needed some info off car to find out I did not need to go ther, never received a call back about my order. Called back 7 times, same rude attitude over phone. So I called Cat's Part-S-Mart Plus Auto and they where polite and helpful. Plus parts where better priced. Stay clear of Shroyer Auto Parts, unless you enjoy waisting time and enjoy being treated like crap.

Me and my grandfather came by last week to sell some of our scrap and the workers there were really nice and willing to help! Specifically a guy name Jeremy, he was super helpful and willing to point the way when asking for directions on where to go to finish up the paperwork. Will recommend this place to anyone in need of buying or selling parts!

If I was able to give a lower score i would. I feel as though one star is giving them to much credit. If you are in a hurry do not go here. I walked in the front door and it took over 20 minutes and me tracking down the manager to get any sort of service. They had already taken my metal and sent me to the wrong place which i double checked what he meant. So i decided I will not do buisness with them now or in the future. I felt very disrespected by the staff. the only person that i have any sort of respect for is the manager himself as he was respectful the entire time. However his employees were not.

Horrible customer service in fact the worst in Lansing so disrespectful. The little old man with brown/gray hair and glasses in the towing dept. Is so disrespectful its crazy on several occasions I have had to deal with him. Every time worse than the last they will argue with u call u a lier he thinks he knows everything and that his s**t don't stink and It obviously wears off on other employees cause they all act like that a little I really don't know how they are still getting business I wish I would have read a few of these reviews so I wouldn't have dealt with them next time I am in need of towing service I will request "anyone but shroyers" in fact I would give my car away before I gave them any business.not to mention they nickel and dime you. Any service they offer u can find cheaper better and closer. I would imagine all of there positive reviews are from friends and family of the business or they payed people off. The only way you will have a good exspirence from shroyers is by not having one at all please BEWARE of shroyers Michiganders

Had a very good experience with Shroyer. DT? The driver was very knowledgeable and helpful. The arrival time was a bit long but this was Labor day weekend so understandable. Will use them again if ever the need arises.

Harriet was the person I spoke with and this counted as the second time. I had simply called to obtain some information and you would have think we had been mortal enemies for life. I understand if she has to deal with stressful situations however this was not one of them and this was the worst representation of a company I have been involved in that I remeber. I however can say it presents me with a great opportunity to deliver amazing news. I hope you are as excited as I am.

I am always able to call and find what I need. Shroyer Auto Parts is also willing to get some new parts. The manager has always been respectful with me. You don't even need to be present in the store to for them to figure out what part you are looking for.

Im not one to post reviews, but i read some reviews about drivers cutting people off and the owners or whatever saying the drivers wouldnt do that. On november 6th of 2016 one of their drivers were driving 75 down mlk, and on the corner of jolly and mlk, was a bicyclist, the tow truck driver was wrecklessly driving at 6:06am and hit him, which killed him on january 3rd of 2017. The bicyclist just so happened to be my best friend and i assume that the driver was never penalized for it through that company. Please be cautious of shroyer drivers as they do drive wrecklessly and clearly do not care about their customers.

AVOID at ALL cost. Do NOT let these people tow your car. They will extort you and they will not let the car down until you pay. Do not trust them or these fake 5 star reviews. Shroyer is the lowest of the low. They quoted me a flat rate of $75 over the phone, towed the car 5.4 miles to the dealer, and then demanded $150 because "miscellaneous fees". They wouldn't let the car down until I paid and even threatened to tow it away and "impound" it if I didn't pay... If any of you Shroyer low-lifes are reading this, know that these reviews are not going away. We will keep writing them until each and every one of you are standing in the unemployment line...

AVOID THESE SCAMMERS!! Negotiated selling my car for parts and was given an estimate over the phone. The guy said part of the process included towing my car back to their shop (with no mention of any towing fees) for an appraisal and they'd get back with me in a couple days. 8 days later after no phone call I had to call them (they were probably hoping I wouldn't and they'd keep it for free). When I found out they were low-balling me I said no thanks, return my car. Only then did I find out that if they did they were charging me a towing bill. That was never discussed during my initial phone call. Absolute scammers. Unless you enjoy dealing with corrupt business owners go anywhere except this rat hole.

Shroyer's Towing and Auto Parts is hands down the worst Towing an auto parts business I've ever experienced. If I can help it I will never go back. They have have the absolute worst customer service. They act as if actual people are not even part of their business. They lie cheat and steal. JP, Bob, etc. are the worst.

POSSIBLY THE WORST CUSTOMER SERVICE I HAVE EXPERIENCED. Shouldnt take over 2 hours to let me know if you have a common part available either already pulled, or on a vehicle in the yard..Then when i call back 3 hours later to see if it is in fact available i get a rude ass answer about how i will know when they tell me, maybe by the end of the day.....called cats got the answer I needed in the first phone call, they will pull it for me tomorrow morning. For now on i will just call cats first...
