    Before booking a rental. I had confirmed the material I was looking to get rid of was accepted. Nikki verified by responding yes we will take that material via email. I booked the roll off and blocked out a few hours to load it up so that I wasn’t wasting money. They came and picked it up no issue, two days later I receive a call stating they can’t accept that material and if they were to keep it I would be paying upwards of $14k. They stated I could either pay for it or they could bring it back and dump it in our yard. Not a good experience Edit----1/6/24 Contacted customer Care to see if they would provide a reasonable resolution, no communication has occurred in two weeks since their comment.

    My family and I recently moved to Georgetown and had cardboard boxes galore. Since recycle only picks up every other week at our home, we decided to bring them directly to this drop-off facility. This place is fantastic. All the employees are friendly & helpful! Thank you

    I am put out with this company. They use any kind of excuse they can to keep from emptying your trash in Georgetown. They refuse to pick up outside of the can, then today they refused to pick up can because the lid was partially open. I will be contacting my city council member to let them know that TDS is not fulfilling their duties and are skimping on their city contract. Ridiculous that I have to go through this much trouble to pick up my garbage that I pay a hefty amount to service.

    This is a review as a former employee of the Georgetown location. This facility is one of the most poorly managed facilities that I have worked for. I was a frontload operator and was tasked with dumping 2 to10 yard cans. The pinging system which assist in locating the dumpsters is highly inaccurate and often increased the route times on any given day. The equipment is antiquated and cannot survive a week without a one to two day stint in the maintenance shop on a weekly basis. The turnover rate is very high and exposure to blood born pathogens is a daily risk. Pet feces, needles, feminine hygiene products are all inside of the frontload trucks in which you have to clean behind for them to work properly. Hepatitis is a constant risk and the company does not offer proper protection against these risk. The expectations of completing a 100 to 150 can dump day is the norm and then some depending on how many people leave at any given month. My orientation class was approximately 10 people and only 2 remained two months later. This is due to the management not utilizing a proper escalation process when there is an infraction. Most companies provide a warning, a write up and then termination of the infraction persist. Georgetown hires and immediately fires and that's why constant advertisement for CDL drivers is provided on the local radio stations such as KLBJ 590. Don't waste your time with this company, not even as a stepping stone.

    Not sure why the bad reviews. 30 bucks to dump bed full of ild lumber and fencing. Was considering renting dumpster for it all but two trips here will rid me of all non curbside stuff for 10th of the cost. Also staff super friendly. Guy helped me unload it all and there was a nice man greeting and waving goodbye to everyone at the entrance waiting to be of service. Lady in office friendly and helpful. Easy system to understand and was in and out less than 20 minutes. I was super anxious being my first time reading reviews so had to give a 5 star and my honest review to help others trying to decide which route to take.

    @Katie at TDS, I call you regularly, and TDS hasn’t resolved any of this, so don’t give me this B.S. answer. I called yesterday, 9/20/2024 midday to make sure someone was going to come by before the end of the day to pick up the recycling that was getting out of hand since the last pickup was missed. I was assured it would get done, and that someone would call me at the end of the day to follow up and make sure it wasn’t missed. Now it’s the next day and I see it was missed again, and I never got a call. How many weeks has it been since TDS has bothered to come by and pick up our recycling? Absolutely the worst. The only reason I’m using them is because nobody else even offers this service on my street, and TDS is definitely acting like they know they have no competition.

    Bulk pickup is lazy. Won’t walk 2 steps to where the sidewalk meets the end of my driveway after I already scheduled a bulk pickup. Instead takes a picture to document why they didn’t pick up. You are government workers, how about you work. I’ll do your job for you if I’m home next time.

    Absolutely love this location. Friendly front desk person (African American male) most of the times I visited. There is always one or two males offering to help unload my truck everytime I go. I have provided a picture of the updated and current pricing for 2022.

    I have not had a good experience with this company. I am paying almost double what their competitor charges as I want their recycling service. Two weeks ago they never picked up my trash so they had to give me a credit and I had to wait until the following week for pickup. Last Thursday was my recycling pickup day and it is now Tuesday and the recycling bin is still sitting at the curb unemptied. I have called repeatedly and they always say they have a work order in. If this is typical I don’t know how they stay in business!

    I want to praise the two employees who exchanged our trash carts today, 3/14/24, Andre and WIlson. I did not realize that this was not our bi-weekly recycling day, and left both large carts out to be excahnged for 35 gallon carts,. Nonetheless, Andre and WIlson took my chock-full larger cart as well as my broken down cardboard boxes, and gave me two new carts. These two true gentlemen were extraordinarily helpful and friendly and are of the highest caliber of employees you or anyone could wish for.     I have been dropping off garbage and recycling that won't fit our cans here for a couple years. They are doing some construction to improve the facility. I am thankful they have great staff to help us get in and out safely. Looking forward to the improvements, appears they are gonna make it function really well.

    If you live in the liberty Hill area, DO NOT go with this company. I do not normally give reviews in general, but my experience with TDS has gotten me to this point. I decided to go with TDS over ACDI because TDS services my home in Leander, and thought it would be great to keep everything under the same umbrella. I subscribed for regular pick up service for a residential property in Liberty Hill about four months ago and they have only come out about half of the weeks they were supposed to. I have probably tried calling over two dozen times specifically asking why my trash has not been picked up and one of the instances where they did not come out for two weeks straight. I feel sorry for the rep who took my call every time and had to deal with the embarrassing factor that their drivers are lazy. I’ve come to realize that majority of the area goes with their competitor, and it was a burden for them to come out to my property which is right next to the city limits. And there was a few occasions where they lied and said either the cans were blocked or that I did not have them out, and of course, there was no picture to back it up but good thing I have surveillance cameras that proved that they never came in the first place. I can understand being backed up and rolled over for the next day, or even someone being lazy enough to not come out in the first place but when you lie and then fabricate an “explanation” that it is my fault, that’s where integrity is compromised and it needs to be fixed on the administrative level. (That’s what prompted me to write this review) I have canceled my account with TDS for this specific property and going with their competitor. I guess the best thing I can say about this company is they are honoring the refunds for the times they didn’t come out. Pretty sad.

    I’ve been dropping off recycling and yard waste for the last few years. I’ve always found the staff to be very helpful and professional. It’s currently under renovation, so watch the signs for changing traffic patterns, but should be a tremendous upgrade once complete.

    10-Star Review for TDS!! Someone discarded bright Blue Paint, (a hazardous material not for household trash). The Trash Truck accidentally spread it for 12yards on our newly black-topped street in front of our house. 1 Call & they immediately said they'd take care of it & they were here next Day pressure-washing it!! Impressive!! I Appreciate them so much! Thank You TDS!!

    Horrible horrible service. Skipped over my house for a rule they decided to start without saying anything. Had to pay $45 plus fuel and tax!!! fee for them to come back out. They got my neighbors who had the same “problem” but not mine. Unfortunately where I live I have no other choice. But it was just a horrible experience. The customer service center is a joke.

    Nothing but problems with this company. They regularly don't pick up extra bags even though I'm contracted for four extra bags. They've knocked over lawn and leaf bags and just left the mess for me to deal with. I see it on my security cameras. This last time they opened my recycle bin, looked inside, shut the lid, and left with the contents (all approved recyclable materials per TDS website) left for me to deal with. Unfortunately we can't pick our trash provider so we are stuck with this garbage company. Calling customer service is unhelpful. The most you'll get is a whoopsie, we'll try again next week.

    I have been with Texas Disposal since Jan of 14. In the last month they have changed being very picky about picking up anything other than the cart. Today is recycling day. I had one extra box packed with boxes and 1 extra bag in a smaller can left. I called and per the service rep they only pick up the cart. Being very polite I explained they have always picked up extra boxes. I was then moved to the supervisor Christina. She said she could put a note on my account to clear everything for the next few weeks but would not start till Saturday. Now I am faced with hauling off my own trash as I do not want to leave trash in the street for a week. What is even more disappointing is I practically begged her to come on Tuesday when you can pay the extra $20 for bulk pick up and she said she did not have the authority to write off that charge. Would hope the company would empower their employees to help make things right. Now I am posting this review in multiple places in hopes they can see that they are not living up to the standard I have enjoyed from them for years.

    I’ve been coming here for years and The last time I visited this place I would have given them five stars and I’m giving them one now. The woman behind the counter who is labeled as S Walker on the receipt was the rudest woman I think I’ve ever came across while purchasing a service. To make matters worse if you look at the picture I was charge over $100 to dump my smallest load I’ve ever dumped here. I did take a 16 foot trailer but it was the equivalent of about three large trash cans up of waste. Last year I brought in a trailer full of solid waste about 5 1/2 feet tall loaded to the gills and I paid $65 and I’ve never paid over $75. I would really hope whoever is in charge here reads the reviews and addresses this

    I have been with Texas Disposal Systems since 2011. I am so very happy with their service and personnel. The trash always gets picked up even on and after holidays. The can is never in the road or tossed about. They take pride in their work. Thank you!

    100% Rate increase! My company took building material to this place over the years and was happy with the ease of use. Prices have been a little higher than their competitors but they were close. Now their prices to dump at their landfill has doubled! I will drive the extra 5 miles to go elsewhere to save $38. Not the friendliest people with the new staffing. But it’s a dump. What do you expect.

    After numerous complaints over the last 2 years ,TDS still picks up the dumpsters in downtown Georgetown at ridiculous hours of the morning. The extremely loud clanging of the dumpsters, thousands of beer bottles falling out into the truck , shaking it at the top, and slamming it down wakes up everyone in the house. There is ZERO reason to be doing this at 550am on a Sunday. Using the excuse of traffic access isn't exceptable..... Businesses don't open till 10am! No traffic down here till mid morning every day of the week!!! Why in the world can you not come at a reasonable time and pick up trash instead of all hours of the night?!

    Normally do not have a problem with them they pick up the trash on time but this week they didn't pick it up and never told us why. Turns out there was road work blocking our road on pick up day and they couldn't get to it which we understand. But when I called to find out why it hadn't been picked up the lady I talked to was extremely rude from the start of the conversation not even allowing me to give her my address. Then proceeded to inform me that they will not be picking up my trash this week. This is a problem as I lived in the country and can not just stack bags next to the can as it will draw all sorts of animals up to my house and it will get strung all over my property. I may have been more understanding about all of this if the lady I had talked to hadn't been trying to fight with me for wanting to know why my trash hadn't been picked up.

    Don't expect them to actually provide the trash or recycling services you pay for. Over a week with the daily "we'll be out today to pick it up" lie from their customer disservice staff. (Note - don't bother posting a "please contact customer service" response. Been there. Done that. Just do the job your paid for.)

    I brought 10 sections of fence and a gate with stain on it. They charged me $152.38. They are extremely rude and not understanding that fence material has gaps. They said they had to charge a truck fill because I put the gate in the bed of my truck. I'll never go back. I would rather wait for the landfill to open up

    Recycling is rarely picked up without my having to call and wait on hold. This issue has been going on for over a year. TDS seems to count on the fact that once you choose garbage/recycling service, it's a pain to change it. Word to the wise: when establishing service, don't choose TDS.

    Over the last year tds hasn’t picked up trash that’s directly beside the cart. They did pick up in the past, but now it’s too much trouble. If cardboard boxes aren’t broken down, they don’t pick up the trash. If the cart seems to heavy, they pass it up. What’s the point in having a service that won’t do their job

    Super friendly, affordable. Concrete area so it doesn’t matter if it rains and you don’t have to have 4x4. Fair price for truck load. Cheapest of any of the others. Take cash and cards.
