Scammers! Beware! Business is shady - As other customers reported. We bought an engine and paid core fee. Drove 2 hours to get core credit but was denied. Unbelievable! I’ve been in auto business 25 plus years and I know shop charge core fees because item is high demand and they need core to rebuild it but this place does it to make extra profit. They place hurdles and obstacles to make us work extra hard to core credit. Save the stress and money. Steer clear of this place!

Has got to be the worst auto dismantler I have dealt with in 20 years, hold times ridiculous, customer service horrible and the process to buy a used door glass is gruelling!! they want us to send our photo I.D over email and copy of company card. Saying they have been burned, we have a company profile, tax I.D and verifiable phone number on google. Then this man is talking to me like I'm dumb, had to fill out a 4 page packet to get a used window, I gave up on this guy. I have dealt with over 90 dealerships and more than 200 auto dismantlers over my career, never have I had an experience like this, then told me would not start pulling my part and my mobile tech will wait an hour and a half while they make me a profile and THEN start pulling part! After calling my buddies at Concord Auto Dismantlers I started telling him about it... he laughed and said must be the guy in Woodland!! Other dismantlers won't even give referrals as all of them do as a service when they don't have a part. This place is crazy.

Worst customer service and they overcharge you for parts. Juan should find another job, he extremely rude and unprofessional.
- JJose Perez
Huge scammers, Juan has the worst customer service. None of their parts are even inspected for basic issues like holes in blocks!Returned and charged restocking fee common day robbery!

Huge inventory. Very helpful and nice employees. Really good prices. They took the time to find the "impossible". 1991 Camaro, had a wiring meltdown behind the dash and destroyed the HVAC control head. There's not a single dismantler I know of that even inventories vehicles older than 2000. Well, guess what, these guys do. They found it, pulled it, cleaned it and had it waiting for me (drove from Sacramento). $80. Found them online Ebay and was quite happy when I realized they're in Woodland and was able to just pick it up. Hard to find this level of service and professionalism any more. Think about it. All that effort for $80. NOBODY does that anymore. So happy I found such a local goldmine for the rare.

I purchased parts from Dee at West Coast. He did a great job communicating and setting up a time for me to meet him there. He also had me check the parts out before purchasing so our time wasn't wasted. I recieved very professional service from Dee and staff alike. I'd recommend doing business with him and West Coast!

20170808 - Called them, told them the part I was needing, they had it. I showed up right at closing, Juan greeted me professionally, I paid and had the part in hand in 20 minutes. The part looked good to me when I picked it up and I had it installed that night. It worked perfectly. I have no complaints from my visit and I will definitely be contacting them again if I need any parts. **While I was waiting to get the part I overheard Juan tell a customer on the phone that he would wait 20 minutes past closing for him to arrive. That is pretty outstanding in my book.

Juan at this yard was great in helping us get the right motor for our Beamer & stayed late when we were in town for the day to get it ready & loaded up. We will definitely be back for parts of we need some. Prices are reasonable too.
- DDanny Mirauta
Don't ever come here. Rude and disrespectful and no regard for your time. I waited 2 and half hours to get a motor that should only take no more then 30 minutes. Will not go back here I should have listened to the reviews I read before coming here. And all of their parts come from cars that were towed and lien sale to them from ljs towing. They don't even know if the parts are good. I took a big gamble.
- ГГеннадий Мак
Don't buy anything from this garbage junkyard. Rude and disrespectful, fully unprofessional in their business. You cant return your part even if it's not your fault, they will find tons of excuses. Especially Robert, the owner of this junkyard, will scream at you and ask "Do you know who we are?" If you try to proof that it is not your fault and you want to return the part. By the phone they said that I can come to pick it up, but after 2 hours wait they gave me wrong part and say gtfo.

Horrible experience, found them on ebay. The transfer case module for 2008 328xi on eBay was 65$ plus 15$ shipping. I needed the part as soon as possible and I was 30 min away from them and I wanted to pick the part up the same day. When I called them to make sure they have it, i was put on hold for about 3 different times without any notice. Finally after being on hold for about 20 min they said it was 120$. I told them about the ebay price, and they started to lie to me about how they had multiple stock numbers and the one on ebay they couldn't find. It's the same part and they tried to almost double charge me. I will be reporting them to better business bureau for advertising at one price and selling for a total different. I bought a replacement mirror for my daughter’s vehicle from them off of eBay. Fair pricing, quick shipment, and the item was exactly what I needed.

I called about a part I found online that they have in inventory, the representative was very helpful to identify if the part was what I was looking for. Returned my call back as soon as he found out. Although I did not make a purchase, customer service was excellent. Thank you!
- JJuan Rodriguez
Easy to work with received the transmission in working condition with no sludge in the pan. I would recommend.
- OOne Smiles
Horrible...wish I could give 0 stars..I had to pay before I saw my product..waited 2 hrs for them to get one set of rims and when they brought them out they were damaged. So I decided not to take them however they wanted to charge me $80 for restock fee when I hadn't even left the store or load them on my pick up.so I had no other choice but to take them instead of giving away another $80 after I had already given them $300 for the rims plus $24 in taxes. I will not recommend this place to anyone their policies are ridiculous. This place is a rip-off don't even waste your time going..
- SSteve W
Awesome staff. Rolled in with a blow out on my rims and couldnt get a tire i needed on time and these guys sold me a good set of tires and wheels for my truck to get me on the road again. The guy at the front desk even had his guy go back to the yard to get another set of tires due to he wasnt comfortable selling me rhe first ones they brought up which i thought was pretty cool. Good business. Lady out in the back was cool too very fast detailed with paperwork which I liked
- cchris hull
Well I should have looked at the reviews first. After 2 bad transmissions and the labor to put them in they still dont want to refund.my best advice is stay away unless you need a core and even then do not pay before you look at what your getting. From one business to another you should be out of business soon whith this kind of service.
- JJordan Hendrix
First off want to say they sold us a broken transmission, when attempting to return they were, rude, racist, liars, tried to deny us a refund, not to mention they are not using safety equipment, releasing toxic freon into the atmosphere, and have zero certified workers, I will be reporting to Osha and BBB. Avoid at all costs!
- kkhaled shoman
Make sure you read all reviews from buying at this place you will find out that they dont even learn from previous mistakes and actually enjoy screwing people over. We purchased a transmission for a customer of ours to replace on a 2004 Ford Taurus, the transmission could’ve been bought ant any other dismantler with a one year warranty for the same price we paid at westcoast if not cheaper. Instead i decide to support a local business since they are in the same town as us. Day 1: transmission comes in complete garbage dies on customer second day! Day:3 i call westcoast and the run around begins!! They literally tried to not exchange the transmission i bought 2 days ago just because i forgot my receipt at home?! Keep in mind they know who i am and told me himself to come for the new one. After arguing back and forth and obviously they are completely wrong and didnt make any sense what he was saying they send me to thebyard to get ny exchange. Picked up the exchange no record of miles on the transmission ( AND VOIDED MY CORE MONEY SINCE I EXCHANGED) which makes zero sense basically i am paying more for the transmission now just because they first one they gave me was bad.. We get it back to our shop to just get our customer taken care of and puf in another one and is also garbage and bad transmission. Day 4: i looked on yelp and saw that people are complaining left and right so im probably going to waste my time again with a second argument with them. Came to the conclusion thay since im already 2 transmission jobs in and not able to ofcourse charge my customer for any of this, went ahead and bought another transmission from a different dismantler at our own expense just to get our customer taken car of and costed us a total job of 3k after all the hassle!!!! I highly recommend buying nothing from this place i promise you will regret it!!! They sell literally garbage and even when you call to ask for a simple exchange they run you around and try to blame it on you which os exactly what a child would do.. some of us are trying to run a successful business and have no time to waste on these kind of shops that do nothing but run the customer around and cost us more money at the end.

STAY AWAY !!! I purchased an engine from them for my CR-V and it was the incorrect engine that they gave me. My mechanic had to let me know. I went back and they completely refused to give me a refund. I EVEN offered them to give me just half of my money, they said NO. Juan who works at the front desk is very unprofessional, all they care about is the money, as soon as you pay them you are SCREWED !!!!
- LLucky Rebel Garage
I purchased a transmission from them 4 days ago.. The transmission was for at lexus rx300. I installed the transmission And found out it had grinding noises and when it go into gear.. I also pulled the transmission Pan and discovered chunks of metal inside the Pan along with a million metal shavings.. We took the transmission out and went to West Coast and they told me warranty is void because I remove the transmission from the car . even after me showing them all the metal shavings and the pieces of metal inside the transmission.. I also mention that I could re install the transmission so they could come back out and look at it with in the warranty time . And they said no because I removed it already warranty is void.. This is not good business and I would highly recommend if anyone's gonna purchase anything from them not to do it..
