This mechanic was short, dismissive, and quoted me an exorbitant price for work without explaining what it was for. When I called back to ask for clarification, he was rude but eventually gave me an answer. For comparison, my usual mechanic quoted me less than a quarter of what this guy wanted for the same work. When I told him I’d just pick up my car, he suddenly threw a surprise fee at me, something he never disclosed up front and which is actually illegal in NJ. I expected to pay something for the time, but not the outrageous amount he threw at me for doing nothing. I will never return here and strongly urge others not to either. My usual mechanic may be farther away, but he takes the time to explain everything clearly and never overcharges. The extra drive is worth it for honest, professional service.

Honest and reliable auto shop especially to take care of your new or aged import. Great hometown service with mechanics that have been doing it for over 30 years! This is the shop that will take care of my car for the next 100K. And they came through for me again. Honest, knowledgeable, experienced, and helpful. The two gentlemen that run this shop helped me on numerous occasions over the years they have been taking care of my car (of which I am obsessed) but today was over and beyond. I broke down in the freezing cold. They were my first call and said I could bring it right over. And AAA towed my car to their shop. I thought my transmission or engine had blown because it wouldn’t shift into second gear and there was just no power. I was very anxious and even said I think it’s the transmission or engine; I was panicked because who wants that? They said, it’ll be okay and not to get too stressed until they take a look. Well they started with the battery and thankfully, that’s all it was. They gave me a new battery and restarted all my computer modules and explained why it all happened. All done by lunchtime. For the experience and know-how that exists in that shop, the prices are amazing. I really appreciate knowing they are local and have been there for over 30 years. I highly recommend this shop for your high end import.

If you want your car fixed right, this is the place to go. My family has been having cars serviced by Binh for over 30 years. He is honest and fair with his pricing. I had taken my car to the dealer because there was a strange noise. I figured I have a warranty why not use it. The dealer checked everything out and informed me I needed major work done which was not covered by my warranty, and my car was not safe to drive. When I took it to Binh for a second opinion, he told me I didn't need to do any of the things the dealer said. He thoroughly checked my car including a test drive. He made a minor adjustment, which cost next to nothing. Two years later and I'm still driving the same car with no issues.
