Regularly get bad heavy line items from these guys. Michael always asks where we need to be on pricing and then sends us a transmission that won't even back out of the shop upon completion. Doesn't matter what the price is if the transmission won't even go into gear. Used auto parts are always a gamble but only to a reasonable extent. To charge the pricing of a quality part and not even know if it will get out of the shop is bad business. Small business owners know having to do the job twice is detrimental to their teams moral and their customer's expectations. Fellow buyers keep this in mind when ordering from Metro. You just don't know what you'll get.

These guys are awesome!! I have a 2011 Ford Escape. My dog tore up the interior including pushing out the whole window causing insanely loud wind noise driving on the Highway. I’ve been hunting for parts including that window frame for almost a year now in NWI. I came down to Indy today for an appointment at IU Dental & had lunch with my son at IUPUI. I had extra time and while debating what to do with the rest of the day, I had a God Breeze to check salvage yards down here. I read the Google reviews for “Salvage yards near me”; and while Metro didn’t have many, they all were very positive. Metro was easy to get to so I decided to drive over. I’m so glad I did!!! Ben and the other gentleman working with him greeted me with a friendly warm welcome and came out to check the situation. They have everything computerized and - unlike all the other yards I have been to - they have the parts already pulled!!! Rather than just the weatherstripping, he had the full door at an excellent reasonable price!! They went above and beyond to make sure I was taken care of and will be keeping an eye out for other parts I need. These guys were a huge blessing and the answer to months of prayers!! They confirmed they have a yard in Valparaiso, too. Since I’m from Crown Point, I’ll be using them [down in Indy or up home] for any future needs. Highly recommend!! Locks, Window, & Speaker all work!! Good as new!! THANK YOU!!!
