I went there just to get a wheel for my truck. When I went in there I only had a lug wrench in hopes that there was a jack around as all of the other yards usually have so I could get the wheel off. I probably got over there around 10:30 was asking to for the truck to be lifted no one showed up at 12:30 I went back the guy had a ignorant smile on his face and said everybody's until lunch is over. And then they wanted to bann me from the yard because I used the jack that was in their truck. If enough people would boycott this business maybe they will go out of business and sell it or go away they have a really bad attitude and it's irrelevant even if they said that I could come back I wouldn't

Highly recommend this scrap yard. I am an electrician and i always save my scrap for Christmas time. I called around to 8 different scrap yards, and Sims had the best price. For any electricians, that know how to separate your copper in hopes to get the most out of what you have, Sims is the place to go. The gentleman working at the scale was very professional and helped me navigate the yard. Even the guy working in the office near the ATM that pays you out was super helpful when I was having trouble with the machine. Definitely my go to scrap yard from here on out.

I called about a control arm, they told me “10 dollars, but you gotta pull it yourself”. I get there and pull it, they change their story and says its 21.20. The employee that helped me said “idk what youre talking about did you call the wrong sims metal or something?” Try some manners and being polite to your customers. I called the same number yesterday as i did this morning…. Do better.
