I would have to say that its about the best metal yard I've ever been to after hauling cars with my late father and also scrap metal. The guys have always been awesome willing to help you unload and sort to get you the best price for your stuff. On top of that, it's the only metal yard I've ever been that when it snows or rains you can stay dry unloading and doing business. Great people and staple in Asheville!

Had another great trip and great experience dealing with Asheville metal recycling. The reason why I drive past a couple of places just to go there is the customer service and I had the owner stop me while unloading a couple of times to tell me how and what to do in order for him to pay me more money... so why wouldn't I continue to go there.... I been dealing with these guys on ALL of my high grade material and scrap steel for 20+ years. Extremely fair and honest people.... also thank you to the yard guys they always are willing to jump in and help me unload my stuff I always try to tip them but this time I didnt have the cash on me but I will return to give them a tip...... THANK YOU ASHEVILLE METAL....

I took my mom here a few weeks ago, she didn’t know the process and the blonde boy at the window made my 78 year old mother walk around a scale and step on metal plates she almost fell through to get 9 bucks for bags of cans. Apparently she recognized the owner from when he used to deliver drinks to her store and he was too busy playing on Facebook to notice her or speak to her. Then when we went to leave an employee finally came to help us get out and blew his cigarette smoke right in our car and my mother with asthma coughed until she chocked. After I looked more into this place, and seeing what people said on Reddit, I can confirm this place is a joke. Please take your cans and metal elsewhere.
