Hope your insurance doesn't use them for totaled vehicles, they are horrible! My wife hit a deer and totaled her vehicle, unfortunately my insurance uses Copart. I set up for them to pick up the car so we could get payment on the claim on 5/22 and told them the car was in my garage so I would need them to call ahead and I would pull the car out of the garage. By 9:30 I hadn't heard anything and I looked at the ring cameras and seen they pulled into the driveway, walked up to the patio but never stepped foot on the patio or ring the doorbell and then left. I then called Copart again and they had the wrong address in the system and said the vehicle wasn't at the address they had. I then re scheduled the pickup with the correct address for Tuesday 5/26 and once again asked that they call ahead even though the vehicle was already pulled out of the garage. I didn't receive a call by 2:00 so I messaged my adjuster and told her, she called them and they hadn't been by yet but again had the wrong address. Finally around 4:00 I received a call and they were at the wrong address looking for the vehicle. When the driver finally showed up he had a work order with my name but a totally different vehicle on it. After several phone calls he finally takes the vehicle and I told the lady at Copart that the title and POA are in the center console just as I was instructed to do by our adjuster. She stated as soon as they received the vehicle and checked it in she would "click the ok to pay button". We got an email on 5/28 stating that they had possession of the vehicle and were checking it in. After not hearing anything by the afternoon of Friday 5/29, I reached out to my adjuster to check status. My adjuster informed me that they couldn't find the title. Once again my adjuster called them and told them it was in the center console. Monday 6/1 we get an email stating they couldn't find the title or POA, my wife spent the better part of the day arguing with Copart on the phone that the title and POA are in the center console. At 3:30 she gets an email stating they have the title but not the POA, my wife then calls them again and argues some more until they agree to do another search of the car. At 5:04 my wife received an email stating that they found the POA in the center console just as we have been telling them all along. Here we are over a week later dealing with them and holding their hand and they send the ok to pay to our insurance company.

Drove 2 hours to pick up a car. Called ahead of time to make sure that were open. The woman who answered said that they were open until 5 to pick up. I got there at 4:30 and was told they stopped loading at 4. Drove 2 hours back with no car even though my money was transferred to them… Des Moines CoPart made a grand in buyers fee off me and owes me 4 hours plus fuel!!!

Just became a member and went to bid on my first vehicle. There were no other bids and when I tried to put in my bid it kept refusing to take it and kept putting up $175 after several attempts I figured that it must be the minimum starting bid so even though I was hoping to pay less I begrudgingly clicked on it. Apon looking further into it I found there was no minimum and is no reserve so I called customer support and they said that you have to bid in certain increments and it wouldn't take my bid unless it was one of those amounts. I asked them to retract my bid and they said they could not but connected me to the Des Moines location so I explain the situation to them and they said they would send the issue to the manager who just sent me an email saying that bids are final and they will not help me. I guess this is why they get so many one star reviews. I would think under the circumstances they would allowed me to retract but they clearly do not care about the buyers.
