Lowest prices for your metals, guaranteed. I called around today for copper #2 prices. I called 4 scrapyards in Springfield including Springfield Iron and metals. The other 3 scrapyards told me they'd give $3.80/lb, but Springfield Iron and metals only offered $2.40/lb. All metals gave me 80¢\lb, for my cast aluminum, springfield iron-50¢\pound. This confuses me because the value of scrap metal is a national standard that changes like the spot price of gold. Everyone else is giving more because they follow the scrap prices for the day and offer what they can and still make money off it. This means Springfield Iron values your metals and you less than the national standard everyone else follows. Less than the others in town at least for sure. On a good note tho, Springfield iron does not make you drive a vehicle there to sell your metals like mcoy salvage, and they'll accept an Arkansas id where as c&m refused to telling me anyone from Arkansas is only trying to sell stolen metals. Kinda 50/50 chances vs. Prices. Call ahead and do your research before selling anything anywhere in Springfield Missouri, a lot of business owners just want you to donate your things

2.55 for bright big copper, I took my load and left to go to a fair scrap yard for $3.45
