Recently, I reached out to American for a hard-to-find part. I needed it for my car to pass inspection, so it was critical that I find it. American had the part there, but when they pulled it, it didn't meet their quality standards, so they wouldn't sell it to me...honest people!! Good so far, but the story gets better. Since they're not the type of folks to just dump any old part on you for the sake of the sale, they started to reach out to other yards, pushing their search farther out each time, but each time not finding anything that met their standards for sale. Finally, they felt so bad that they couldn't find me a decent used part, (they knew the background of my situation and that I really needed to keep my car rolling), American found me a brand-new part!! And they didn't charge me the difference from used to new...they took the hit themselves!!! Who does that in today's world? Only wonderful caring decent people!!! Thanks, Dave!!! I didn't know you from a "hole in the wall", but when I got off the phone even after my first call, I felt like I had been talking to a friend. Thanks, American for everything you did to help me!!! It's greatly appreciated!!! At this point, I don't think I need to say it, but I'm going to anyway; I highly recommend American Used Auto Parts!!! Peter S.

Good people! I called about a part for a Nissan maxima and they didn't have it, but went out of their way to look it up and give me the phone number for a yard in PA that has it! Thank you!

I’ve been dealing for almost 3 years now I’m trying to get my refund for a bad transmission they sold and the owner. I think Scotty is hard to reach. Never return phone calls or money very disappointed with the service. The customer service is awful. Would not recommend zero out of zero.
