Brown & Brown was called to tow my car by the Dunwoody police. I was asked how long it would take for my insurance tow truck to show up, i replied that the ETA was 11\2 hours. The Dunwoody office stated that would be too long and that he could get me a Tow truck in about 10 to 15 mins for around $150 and that the tow truck company would take the car to my house. I accepted his offer and canceled my insurance tow truck . About and hour later a Brown & Brown driver showed up, he refused to take the car to my house which was only about 15 to 20 mile away. I showed up less than 16 hours after my car was towed and was instructed that the charge would be $388.00 cash only. I gave them $400.00 and the person behind the counter stated that they do not provide change. Not only was this price extremely higher than expected but the customer service was very rude. They did not want to release my car unless I provided them an updated insurance card, registration and ID. They did require proof of insurance when they towed it, why should I need it when I am getting it towed to the repair shop? I do not recommend this company at all they are ripping people off. They really do not deserve any stars.

I just made a call, 4:40 pm,01/16/2026.During the call, I had not finished asking my question when the receptionist abruptly hung up the phone. This behavior was extremely rude and unprofessional, and it left me unable to obtain the information I needed.<br>I respectfully request that your company look into this matter and review the conduct of the staff member involved.

I spoke with a young lady this morning who was very rude and told me I could not pick up some important paperwork that was left in a bad car accident that left the car totaled . I have things for my business that I can not retrieve without getting my car towed somewhere else . SMH . I’m very hurt about this . I’ve never been treated so bad when I’m going through something that is not even my fault. If you can please avoid this company . I believe everyone should be treated with kindness.
