Went there to get money for copper and an ac unit only to be scammed. Couldn't see the weight of the copper because they had their computer screen blocking it. Then they threw the copper into their pile before I had a chance to. Was told I should have received at least $15 more than the $25 i received for the copper. Also told the 57 lb old air conditioner was only worth $3. As im walking away from the payment window, I overhear the guys coworker ask, "how did you do that?" I turned around when he said this and the worker who scammed was walking backward..when he saw me turn around, He shrugged his shoulders to the other guy. So I asked for a refund on my air conditioner at least. Got my refund and and told the coworker coming to pick it up that he didn't need to as id be taking it back. He replied. Did you pay for it?" I told him yeah, but I got my refund so ill just put it back in my car. Loaded in my car and and as im shutting my door, I told the coworker next time not to scam people. He just smiled really big. Will not be returning.

Easy, fast, and I liked the fact I didn't have to park again to get a pay out like Omni. I didn't have anything crazy to scrap. It was also nice to have a south location so it was a much quicker drive than going all the way to NewHaven.

They do one ton being 2240 instead of 2000. It's a hidden game they play to make more money. I thought they paid me wrong until they say that. Worked out to 20 dollars less per ton in my situation.
