Not fair prices at all. Went to Express metals last week in sun valley took 600lbs of steel got over $200. Took 300lbs here and got $12. WOULD NOT RECOMMEND. unless you just need to get rid of your metal, and don't care about getting paid

I've been in the plumbing trade for 40 years (I know my brass)and this guy at AM recycling tells me my clean red brass is yellow brass, and clean red is the same price as clean yellow brass. (My fault for even letting him put it on the scale) Never again will this guy screw me over. Just glad I took in a small amount. (103lbs) my calculations come to he screwed me over $.60/ lb. I suppose if you only have plastic or aluminum it may be ok. But never take in your metals. He appears to lack knowledge in brass. 100% certain of that.
