On Aug 18,2025 we purchased a transmission Thur Russell’s for $1450 for q 2009 Mazda 3. It had to be shipped to them and we were contacted Aug 21, 2025 to pick up the transmission. The purchase came with a 90 day warranty. On Saturday Nov 22, 2025 the transmission stopped working, and would not engage gears. We contacted Russell’s early Monday morning to inform them of the issue with our purchase. So on the 93 day is when Russell was contacted. The transmission actually happened the 91 day, 1 day after warranty, but couldn’t contact them until Monday. We were offered another transmission for $650 our part. We literally got to drive 400 MILES OUT OF THE $1450 TRANSMISSION. They wouldn’t honor the warranty due to it being 1 day over the 90 days. And act like $650 is a deal, why would we spend our hard earned money with them for another transmission that most likely isn’t worth a damn.<br>On the website it says they due diligence to check auto parts so that customers get MANY MILES from them. I don’t define 400 miles as Many MILES

This man is a scammer. My daughter and her friend sold a salvaged car to him. He told them he would pay $300 for it. My husband and I both heard him tell them that on speaker phone. When they arrived to get the money after he hauled the car there, he lied saying he told them $150 and was extremely rude. He took advantage of them because they are young. They felt intimidated and accepted the $150 out of fear and the fact he already had the car.<br><br>We are telling everyone we know to not do business with someone of such low integrity.<br><br>My friend’s father actually owned this business years ago and would have never treated people this way.

Couldn't find the rim I needed anywhere else but Russell got one fast! I would recommend giving them a try.
