Extremely Unprofessional and Careless Service

I used this company on 10/23/2025 to tow my motorcycle due to a stripped exhaust bolt. When my bike arrived at the repair shop, the mechanic immediately noticed the front suspension was lowered and said it was unsafe to ride. I never altered the suspension, so I asked for photos. The mechanic also pointed out grease marks and scratches on the handlebars that matched where the tow straps had been, explaining that the driver must have overtightened the straps.

I contacted the tow company to report this and was met with a defensive and dismissive attitude. The representative claimed to have photos “showing correct strap placement,” but those photos were taken after the fact and didn’t show how tight the straps were—or any “before” condition of the bike. I even mentioned I had a video of the driver present as I backed the motorcycle out of my garage, clearly showing the front end before the tow.

Instead of listening or asking for my evidence, the representative became argumentative, insisting it had “been a week” and that my motorcycle was “25 years old,” as if that excused potential damage. For context, the delay was because motorcycle shops are backed up in winter, not because I waited to report it.

I never asked for compensation—I simply wanted to report the issue and ensure I’d be covered if something went wrong after pickup. The lack of professionalism, accountability, and customer service was extremely disappointing.

I would not recommend this tow service unless you want your vehicle returned damaged and your concerns ignored.

I used Tim’s Towing through AAA, and unfortunately my experience was very disappointing. The woman in the office was extremely rude and unprofessional. She refused to provide her name, which made the situation even more frustrating.

There were minor issues with my card and a small five-mile difference in the drop-off location both easily fixable but instead of being helpful, she was hostile and difficult throughout the interaction. On top of that, the pricing felt unreasonable.

Based on this experience, I would not recommend this company.

WARNING if using AAA. Mixed experience with Tim’s Towing. On the positive side, the driver was very courteous, professional, and did a great job handling the vehicle. However, the out-of-pocket pricing was a major issue. We were dispatched through AAA (7-mile basic plan) to go from Decatur to Graham. To cover the remaining mileage, they quoted us $11/mile, which felt like a hefty price for a straight shot down Hwy 380. They were up front about the pricing, and we ended up towing it to a local mechanic in Decatur (A.C.T. - 5 star) instead, where the entire repair cost less than the tow quote. Great driver but be sure to double-check the mileage rates before committing. As I side note, I don't know how much it cost to pay a CDL driver and run a rollback tow truck down the road. Maybe $11/mile is spot on, but the cost/benefit wasn't there for us.
