One of the better scrap yards mainly for the fact that the layout is decent. The salt lake 33rd and clearfield ones are terrible. The clearfield one you can barely get a trailer in. A lot of backing in/out. This has a layout it's more through. Also the fact that you can pick from here is nice. Have yet to do so, i don't know what they want pricing wise on picks, but that option is very nice.

I have been finding out that this place give you the lowest prices possible for your scrap metal. I took in an authentic Toyota catelitic converter. They only offered 10 dollars. They said the most they pay out is $20 for catalietic converter. I went to metro recycling and was offered 90 dollars. I took in clean brass to both places and I received nearly double what Ogden recycling offers. I also took in a clean sheet of aluminum that was 8 foot by 22 foot from the top of a RV trailer. I only received $7.50 for that clean sheet with only a few holes cut out. It was a brand new sheet of aluminum that was part of the roof repair for that trailer. THIS PLACE DISHONEST.

We had just moved to Ogden and had a TON of cardboard to recycle. Staff was super friendly at the window and got us through quickly. As some reviewers have mentioned, it cost $5 per load from our car, which was just fine by us. We made two trips and the staff was great.
