It’s been bout half a year now and my motor hasn’t blown up yet despite my best efforts (constant abuse). I am supremely impressed by Engine Supply, and I highly recommend them. They truly take the cake when it comes to knowledge and quality of work.<br><br>Last year I blew up my 1.5JZ motor, quite terribly. With engine supply’s help we were able to identify damage and get all the machine work necessary. They helped me make sure everything was in spec so I could re-assemble the motor and have my car running again. Not only did they do excellent work but they were very communicative during the process and answering my questions. I basically learned everything I needed to know as a first time builder.<br><br>The grumpy old man at the front desk is Mikey, he is the shop owner and knows everything there is to know about engines. Despite his grumpy demeanor he was super helpful and gave me lots of useful advice. He has two sons Matt and Mason also working at the shop and they are both very skilled and knowledgeable. I have never seen a business with such great staff. Everyone was awesome and definitely went above and beyond to help me.<br><br>I recommend this shop for any motor but especially JZ’s they are constantly working with em and are super familiar with the platform, it is one of the main motors they work with.<br><br>Thanks to Engine Supply, Now I can resume my favorite pastime (illegal street racing). I’ve been beating on the motor mercilessly since first start. And it has been rock solid.

Most knowledgable shop in California. They do the best work I have seen and are very friendly, especially with pricing! They price very fairly and even suggest what you should do if you are not very knowledgable about engines (like myself). Matt and Mason are now personal friends of mine and I will continue to bring my engines here. Also they can be busy because of how big of a customer base they have so plan a week ahead to get service done. Below are pics of my friend’s miata 1.9 machined and my 2jz that I am currently building, both machined by engine supply. Support family businesses!
