My car got stuck on a back road, gave them a call to receive a quote. Jacob the dispatcher provided excellent customer service and was concise. They arrived to the location I wanted my car towed to in a timely manner. Shout-out Daniel for towing my car with care. Thanks guys !

A few days ago, I stuck my car in sand about 10 feet away from a drive way. It was my mistake, and my own insurance company wouldn't deal with the issue.<br><br>So I called Kautz Towing, the nearest towing service at that location. The owner told me that their rate is $300 per hour, and asked for my credit card number through the phone. He said this is just to protect their business in case I changed my mind so they could hold $300 against my account.<br><br>The tow truck arrived shortly for they are just 3 miles away. The guy pulled my car off the sand in a few minutes. But to my surprise, they told me that $300 was just an arrival fee!! On top of that, they still charged me the hourly rate - $300 per hour.<br><br>What a rip-off!<br><br>What angers me more than the price is that they are predators, waiting for people who are stuck in a helpless situation to rob them.

My insurance roadside assistance did not communicate all the details of my situation and provided an incorrect location to Kautz.<br><br>Jacob was pleasant and positive on the phone. They were timely and still towed my car even though I was located outside of their towing area.
