If I could give them more stars I would. This is an unbelievable group of people!!! We were passing through and our roadside assistance plan did not seem to cover our situation so we called Randy’s . We were towing a camper and literally got stuck between the gas pump and a fuel truck and were 1/2” from hitting concrete post. She noted she would call me back after she reached out to her drivers. Well my phone did not pick up her phone call but she showed up to our location with a smile! She noticed one of her drivers go into the gas station and she flagged him down. Meanwhile another of her drivers also showed up. These guys had us out of this predicament in about 2 minutes flat!!!!!! These 3 individuals were all about just doing the right thing and I would have hugged them all if they hadn’t left so fast. Amazing, amazing people! Thank you all from the bottom of our hearts

(Long testimony. Felt like I owed it to Randy's after all the help.) Driving back to Kentucky from our daughter's softball tourney in Florida, my transmission went out. It was a Saturday evening and I had my wife and kids with me in the middle of nowhere due to a detour caused by a road closure. I tried for an hour and a half to find a towing service of the ones that were open. It was shocking to me how difficult this was being so close to a good-sized city in Montgomery. I had seen when I started my search that I was just 11 miles from Randy's and they had towing, but they were closed. After an hour and a half of searching with no luck and nowhere else to turn, I called Randy's and was surprised to find a live person answer. They connected me with David Adams. He then called me, worked out where I was, and picked up my truck in around 15 minutes. Another family from the softball trip met up with us. They had room in their vehicle to drive us up to the Montgomery Airport to pick up a car rental, but no room for all of our stuff. Mr. Adams was super. Understanding our situation, after we picked up our rental car and drove back down from Montgomery, he let us come to his house (in the middle of the night) and he had unloaded my truck so we could transfer all of our luggage into the rental car. From the Google ratings, it appeared that Randy's was a family-owned business and there were already some reviews that suggested that they were friendly to everyone including stranded travelers. To tow my truck home to Kentucky was going to cost around 3 grand. Given this, coupled with the fact that everything I had seen so far supported the ratings, I decided to put it in God's hands and trust Randy's, a mechanic I didn't know existed just a few hours before, to fix my truck and then come back down and get it when complete. The repair took a while to complete but only because I was eager to explore all my options before making a decision between a rebuilt or new transmission since the repair was going to be costly. I got to talk to Randy and we walked through my options a couple times. Throughout the time waiting for the repair to be completed, I also talked with Renee from Randy's a number of times. She was super patient with me and always kept me informed with where things stood. The trip back down was over 8 hours one way. They were even willing to hang around if we got caught up in traffic and did not make it before the close of business. In the end, we made it with time to spare. Their rates were fair and, a week and a half later, there have been no issues with the repair. For someone that had to put a lot of trust in someone they didn't know at all, I could not be more grateful for Randy's. If I lived in the Fort Deposit area, they would certainly have my repeat business. Every person I touched in connection to this situation were first class. Fort Deposit should be proud to be represented so well by their residents.
