NO EMPATHY for the unhoused and the car less knowing that recycling is many peoples main sorurces of income, if not the only mean of caring for themselves and spare change. This place will not allow walk-ups. No baskets, wagons or nor on foot.There is not a sign posted. My son works two jobs and caught the bus on Sunday to get bus fare for the last week before payday carrying a large bag of recycle down watt and Longview (see photo) to only be turned away if you are a commercial business and you are conducting business with Capital City Recycling on Longview, STOP.

anti-homeless and charge a penny for each can check your receipt, sure it adds up to millions per year. Also the screen which displays the weight is tiny and the worker stand in front of it so how do you know without a doubt they are zeroing out the tare

Today was my first time there & I liked it, drive in turn left & park, they have their bins marked, green for plastic and aluminum & gray for glass. They were friendly and helpful, quick and easy. Definitely will be back .
