My car battery was giving me hard time, so decided to purchase a new one. I called AAA and i made a appointment for the next day. I got a technician from Troy Auto,who came and replaced my battery whit a new one. The technician ask me about my email address so they can send me the work invoice, but they never sent it to me. And i called AAA inquiring about my receipt and they connected me to Troy Auto for this matter. They were rude and telling me to call back AAA. After couple hours Troy Auto<br>sent just a basic receipt from my credit card charge, no work invoice. Very disappointed about the way i was treated.

The weather was pretty bad today, and I ended up with a flat tire, so I called roadside assistance.<br>I was told that the arrival time might be delayed due to the weather, so I was a bit worried while waiting.<br>However, they arrived in just 30 minutes and quickly replaced the tire.<br>I really appreciated the fast and professional service

Troy Auto & Truck Center on Stephenson helped me out with an intermittent Check Engine Light that I was experiencing on my 04 Chevy Express Van. It's a class B conversion RV and 9ft tall, but no problem for them to work on.<br><br>After researching the problem, doing a series of diagnostic steps myself, and having a specific set of circumstances identified that would trigger the CEL, I was pretty convinced, though not certain, that the van just needed to have the crankshaft position sensor relearned with a professional scan tool to fix the problem. And after having the relearn procedure performed, my issue is resolved!<br><br>Huge thanks to service writer, Yandura, for hearing me out about the issue I was having, about the diagnostic steps I had done myself so far, and for agreeing to have the relearn procedure performed with zero fuss.<br><br>All the other shops/dealers I called either wouldn't touch the van after hearing it was an RV conversion or wouldn't agree to try the quick sensor relearn procedure that I was recommending and instead wanted to see the van and do their own diagnosis before recommending whatever they felt was necessary.<br><br>It's very refreshing to find a shop that will work with the customer on getting to the bottom of a complex problem instead of telling us to drop off the vehicle and get out of the way. Again, I wasn't absolutely certain that the relearn would fix the problem, but it was a quick and easy step that I was willing to try that had successfully fixed the issue for other owners of the same make/model with the same set of symptoms. It was certainly worth trying before getting into much more complicated and involved diagnostic steps.<br><br>I appreciated the willingness to try what I was asking without overcomplicating things and without arguing over scope of work and other nonsense. I had the van in for service 2 days after first talking to them, and had the van back 4 hours after dropping it off for a super reasonable price.<br><br>Thanks again, Yandura. I'll for sure be back for any other issues on the van!
