Won’t go back to this location. My check engine light came on and I went in to get it checked. The manager (who never even walked over to me she just yelled across the store) got an attitude with me told us they weren’t doing them today “due to the extreme weather” Okay. No big deal. I was on my way out the door when she snapped that the cashier didn’t have a winter coat and she wasn’t making him go out in cold.<br><br>I found her attitude unnecessary and off putting so I won’t be returning to this location.<br><br>I called another store about 10 minutes away and asked them if they could do it and was told “absolutely!” So I went to that store and got the light checked. I was in and out in under 5 minutes.<br><br>I understand that the cashier didn’t have a coat and it’s cold but I think the manager’s attitude wasn’t needed I also didn’t appreciate that she never walked over to me and she just yelled across the store at me.

Bought a battery there and although the website stated that installation was available it was not to be. However, I was given the tools I needed to install it myself. That was greatly appreciated.

Refused to honor warranty as they couldn’t find ANY parts under the phone number I’ve had and used for 20 years. The person helping me seemed indifferent and when I left, I felt like they could care less and that they thought I was a scammer or something. A surprising experience to say the least.<br><br>If you expect to EVER need to warranty anything, don’t come to Advance Auto. I’ve been a loyal customer for ages but NEVER again - how can you trust their warranty if they just say “Oh, we have no records of any warrantied parts”. Spend money at RockAuto or someone cheaper and better.<br><br>EDIT: Advance Auto replied and instead of trying to help, they just “hope to do better next time” instead of honoring their warranty OR investigating why my purchases aren’t in their system, including other UNDER WARRANTY parts? This is why you should spend your money elsewhere. Well done customer service team, high fives all around for “addressing the issue”!
