I could not be more pleased with the work that Crash Champions in Plano did repairing the hail damage on my truck and SUV. After getting into a car accident, I filed a claim with my insurance company. A few days later, the GEICO adjuster came out, inspected my vehicle, sent me the estimate by email, and clearly confirmed: “You can now repair your vehicle at the shop of your choice.” Based on that confirmation, I called Crash Champions to schedule a repair appointment. From that point on, it was nothing but frustration. I was repeatedly told that I could not make an appointment because of GEICO. I explained the situation multiple times — that GEICO had already inspected the car, sent the estimate, and confirmed I could proceed with repairs anywhere. It did not matter. The only response I kept getting was, “GEICO won’t allow it,” with no clear explanation. I called Crash Champions more than 8 times in one day trying to resolve this. It felt like no one was actually listening or willing to look into the situation. Instead of helping, they just kept repeating the same answer. In the end, I gave up and called a different body shop. My appointment was scheduled in less than 5 minutes. No issues. No excuses. Note to GEICO policyholders: Be aware — you may not be able to schedule repairs here, even after your claim has been approved and confirmed. Extremely disappointing experience.
