For the situation I was in, I was extremely upset to getting my vehicle towed. However, I am truly thankful for the staff at A-1 Recovery. From the first time I called everyone I spoke to was pleasant. I had upfront pricing and was told what the price for things would be without a hassle. The lady at the front desk was kind and frequently checked on me while I waited for another tow company. The inside was very clean and didn't give the shady feelings you get from some places.

Worst and I mean THE worst experience that we as a carrier company had with towing service (if you can call them like that). These people tell openly that they work with property owners and give them a share from towing’s price. And the guy was so proud about that. Charging over $2k for truck and trailer towing including the $100 storage fee per unit. They do not accept payments by credit or debit card in person which is an almost red flag, meaning that business does not pay taxes and does not have a normal formal billing. Only thing these people do is scam others and have a predatory towing behaviour. Avoid this place at all costs!!!

On November 30, 2025, around 1:45 p.m., I entered the highway and observed an A1 Recovery Services semi tow truck driving in the passing lane at speeds exceeding 75 mph in a posted 65 mph zone. While higher speeds may match the general flow of traffic at times, commercial vehicles are still subject to strict speed limits for safety reasons.<br><br>My vehicle is speed-limited to 75 mph, yet the A1 truck continued pulling away even when I maintained my top speed. This suggests the driver was traveling well over the posted limit, including in zones where the maximum was 75 mph for smaller vehicles.<br><br>More concerning, during approximately 30 minutes of shared road time, the driver did not use turn signals at any point—despite making multiple lane changes. Considering the potential size and weight of a tow truck, failing to signal puts surrounding motorists at significant risk.<br><br>Families, commuters, and travelers rely on all drivers—especially professional operators of large vehicles—to follow safety guidelines and exercise caution. Driving a vehicle of that size with no indicators or regard for speed limits is irresponsible and dangerous.<br><br>Due to this experience, I cannot in good faith recommend A1 Recovery Services. Professional drivers represent their company on the road, and this driver’s behavior demonstrated a lack of safety awareness and consideration for others. Simple adherence to signaling and posted speed limits can prevent tragedies and ensure everyone arrives safely to their destination.
