I went into Powertron Battery Co a few days ago needing a new battery for my Nissan Versa and had a great experience. No appointment needed at all. I was asked what I needed, and they got right to work immediately. I was in and out in no more than 20 minutes! Great service, great prices, and super efficient. I’ll definitely be coming back and will be recommending this place to others.

This is my second time here. First time was a great experience. This time, was also great. They could have easily taken my money but instead they let me know that the battery simply needed a charge. If I lived locally I would have paid the $7 for them to charge it. I also didn’t have any cash on me to tip, best I could do was come here and express my gratitude.

I was referred here by a friend who said Powertron batteries are used at his work and have no issues.<br><br>I first started by checking the Powertron website for the battery and didn't see any information about my battery group size or CCA.<br>I then called them the next day and was told the price for a battery which was a good price.<br><br>I went to purchase a battery and the price matched what i was told on the phone, so I purchased the battery. The weird part started when I picked up the battery. No where on the battery did it say CA or CCA it just said Powertron and Santa Ana,CA.<br><br>After the battery was installed I started the car and seemed a bit sluggish starting. I thought maybe its just sitting for a bit. I called the store and was told its 550CCA. I went to a different location to get the battery tested 2 times and everything was good with 100% health.<br><br>When i got home I noticed that my receipt said the CCA (525) of the battery which suprised me even more. The CCA was lower than what i was told on the phone(550).<br>I usually use 640CCA (Walmart,Sams Club, Costco) and it starts up with No hesitation.<br><br>The battery from here compares to the battery from Walmart 2nd tier "Plus" with 525CCA. (Walmart batteries go Value, Plus, Maxx, Platinum AGM)<br><br>When I called the dealership to get minimum CCA for my car I was told 585CCA. The better option is 640CCA.<br><br>Unfortunately for the battery that i was looking for, there was only 1 option with lower 525CCA which doesn't meet the minimum requirement for my car.
