The treatment I received was extremely traumatizing. The tow truck driver I spoke with was a Hispanic man who spoke to me in a condescending and aggressive manner, as if I were a child. I felt intimidated and scared especially as a woman just trying to resolve a parking issue.
He refused to answer any of my questions and insisted that I simply pay to get my vehicle back. That was a major red flag..I didn’t understand why he was being so rude and dismissive when I was just trying to understand the situation.

At the time I didn’t have my phone, cash, or card with me because I had only stepped outside to start loading some things into my car. I politely asked if I could use his phone to make a quick call and arrange payment, but he refused and accused me of being “combative.” I explained again that I didn’t have my phone or wallet and just needed to make a quick call to pay over the phone. He then said, “No, I’m giving you 15 minutes to pay me or I’m leaving.”

When I asked about payment options, he became even more hostile and said he would just leave. It was clear he was intentionally trying to make things difficult for me. I asked how much the fee was and if he could wait a moment while I ran back to my apartment to get my card and ID. He agreed.

It took me no more than two minutes to return, but by then he had already left. I had to literally run after him as he drove three floors down and out of the complex entrance. I was panicking, out of breath, and nearly passed out from a panic attack.
When I caught up to him and asked why he drove off after agreeing to wait, he refused to take accountability. Instead, he accused me of harassing him and threatened to call the police. To make matters worse, he forced me to take a photo of me holding my ID and card and overcharged me the fee went from $62 to $130 in order to give me my car back and refused to provide his name or give me a receipt. I should have called the police myself but was running late for work.

We were awaken when our car was towed at 4:30AM from our driveway (only because our car alarm went off). We caught up with the tow truck driver, who was agressive, and said we were towed for "breaking the contract" but would not elaborate. He said we could have our car back if we gave him $125 cash, or pick it up from the towing company office. Driver also had a weed pipe and vape pen in the front center console, and bragged how he knew which houses to target. He said on average he tows 30 cars a day from our community.

We elected to go to the towing office. It was $185 to pay wtih card, and they took a picture of you with your ID to intimidate you into not disputing it with your credit card company.

Overall, corrupt company that I'm assuming is tipped off/working with HOAs that need money. Police are well aware of their agressive nature, and will send out an officer if needed to help facilitate getting your car back.

I was visiting a family relative that was sick. Parked my car half on her driveway and have on the walk way. In a private community.. didn’t take long where they towed my car. When I called the fee was 200.00. These people are crooks they should be investigated. I will handle this with the police department. Made me take a picture with my vehicle and pay a 208.00 fee to get my car back. I know God is on my side.
