I had a terrible experience with Andy’s Towing in Champaign, IL. My car was towed improperly by them, which caused my air suspension to fail. Because of this, I had to pay over $1,000 to tow my car from Champaign to Chicago and cover additional repair costs.<br><br>What made things even worse was their attitude and lack of professionalism. When my friend noticed they were about to tow my vehicle, he told the driver that I would arrive in one minute and was happy to pay on the spot so they wouldn’t have to tow it. Despite this, they refused to wait even a minute and insisted on towing the car anyway.<br><br>We arrived by Uber at almost the same time as the tow truck reached the lot, yet they still charged me $315. Immediately after paying, I noticed an error code indicating suspension damage, but when I brought it up, their staff were extremely rude, dismissive, and told me to leave instead of helping or cooperating in any way.<br><br>This whole experience was unfair, unprofessional, and costly. I would strongly advise others to avoid Andy’s Towing — they clearly lack both care for customers and basic respect for people’s property.

After having the worst accident my husband and I (and our dog) have ever gotten into - being hit by a semi on the highway, in the snow storm this week… it was scary and horrible. One of the only upsides to the whole ordeal was the kindness and generosity of James from Andy’s Towing company.<br>Not only did he drive through the terrible weather with almost no visibility - to go pick up our totaled car off the highway - but he also drove back to the gas station that police dropped us off at, and we had been sitting at for almost 4 hours, to pick us and our dog up. He then brought us and the car back to the shop, where he gave us all the time we needed to clean out our entire car, of normal daily belongings as well as all the stuff packed in it for our holiday cross country trip. Which took a while, since the snow was coming down, but we got it done and in the end he offered to help drive us and our belongings to our hotel which he absolutely didn’t have to do. James’s kindness and generosity was one of the only things from the terrible day that got us through the stress and we could not thank him enough. Going out of your way to help another human isn’t common anymore and we were just dumbfounded that we were able to have all this unexpected help.<br>Give him all the raises, PTO, everything lol. If anyone deserves it, he does. And I couldn’t recommend his services enough, if you need help or towed (and you also treat him with kindness & aren’t rude to someone just trying to help you….) give him/Andy’s Towing a call.<br>Our car is totaled but the day would’ve been even worse if we didn’t have James’s help. So from the bottom of our hearts, thank you.

I was involved in a car accident and Andy's responded to the scene. Their employee informed that my vehicle was not driveable and would need to be towed to their lot on Market Street about a quarter mile away. This tow cost $415 dollars with add on charges, more than twice the posted fee for a police tow. After paying for another tow to move the car to my property, i was informed by the second Andy's employee that the truck has been driveable the entire time -- in fact they drove my vehicle down the ramp of the tow truck and up my drivewqy when returning it. Im left wondering if it was an error on in judgement by the original driver or just a plain lie to secure an expensive tow fee This whole experience was disappointing and very, very expensive.
