Great place to scrap your metals. 3 stars because the cashier entered 8620 on the receipt - she added 20 pounds to my empty weight - but scale marked 8600, check the pics. Didn’t notice till I was at the hause. Do I feel like I got robbed? Nah, it was like $10 bucks. I think it’s more about honesty. Just check your receipt next time and count yo money at the counter window before leaving. Other than that I like coming here.

Persistent Noise and Unprofessional Behavior<br><br>Our neighborhood near Fremont Street has been dealing with ongoing noise disturbances from Scrap-It transport trucks parking alongside residential buildings with their engines idling for long periods — often early in the morning and even on weekends. This constant noise has been very disruptive to residents.<br><br>In addition, there have been instances of highly inappropriate behavior from some truck drivers, including public urination near our property. This kind of conduct is unacceptable in any community.<br><br>We ask Scrap-It management to take responsibility for their drivers’ behavior and to implement proper guidelines to prevent idling and ensure respect for the surrounding residential area. A little consideration would go a long way toward maintaining good community relations.

Tracy McAvoy isn't an honest weigh master. I've been closely monitoring each transaction she's processed since Day 1 and all the evidence proves that she is indeed unscrupulous. Today was no different. I brought in a small see-through bag that had brass and copper in it that weighed about 3.5 lbs. She actually examined the bag closely and weighed it but somehow my receipt shows the bag weighed 1 lb. I was paid only $2.49. But if you check my photo here there is one piece of brass that weighs over 2 lbs alone that was in that bag.<br>However it's not all bad at this scrapyard. Duane and the other gentleman with the short blond hair are always accurate at the scale and much more helpful than Tracy.
