I called to complain about the snow plows driving in tandem down transit road at 6pm and the person that answered said that was the state. But then he gave me a bunch of good reasons. He was super kind and really listened. Even though he could have just said that’s not us and hang up. It’s refreshing to get that kind of service. Cheers Amherst highway dept! On my next slow drive behind plows during rush hour maybe I will call the right department. Lol

When there is little snow, I use a small hand plow and tend to shovel the snow well into the road and then shovel it onto the curb. This morning, before shoveling it from the road, the plow came down the street and when arriving at our house, slowed way down so that the snow would not be hurled way into the driveway. So kind, and helpful. Thank you!
