I parked my Ford Explorer at the Auto Zone on Maclay Street to visit the Farm Show, since there was absolutely no parking left on the Farm Show grounds and I didn’t have any cash for other parking. There were no signs listed anywhere that indicated that I couldn’t park in the Auto Zone parking lot, so I went ahead and parked there. When I returned a few hours later, my car was gone. I went into the store and talked to the employees; they informed me that I wasn’t allowed to park there for Farm Show even though there were no signs and they gave me the address and phone number for the towing company. Of course when I tried to call them they were closed, and my nearest ride was over an hour away. I returned to pick it up today (Sunday) and they are only open 12-2 Saturday and Sunday (I’m sure so they can collect more money for withholding for people who don’t have time to pick up there vehicles). I was charged $260 and they only accept cash, which is unfair as most people in today’s world only use card. I will say that I didn’t have any trouble dealing with any of the people I talked to there; they were actually helpful. Overall, I am very upset that my car as well as 13 other cars were towed without notice from a parking lot that had no signs that prohibited parking. I feel like this company just tows vehicles away from places where they think they shouldn’t be parked just to collect extra money. Plus they don’t give people a lot of time to pick up their cars. It is a huge inconvenience and cost to people who don’t know, especially when there are no signs.

My vehicle got towed in the closed / under construction Popeyes parking lot facing the farm show building. Absolutely no no parking signs posted on that side of the building. I did not park at Burger King because of all the signs with Mars towing. Came back out from the farm show to find my vehicle gone. Had to call Mars towing and they said they don't manage Popeye's lot and told me who to call. Called them and they are closed with no way to get a hold of them. Got an Uber to run over to see if someone's there. Thankfully someone was still there and was able to pick up my car with ID and cash payment only. The gentleman at lot was a nice guy. I just think it's crazy rude that that there was no visible no parking signs from where I entered to where I parked.... I got pictures to prove it.

Parked in a place clearly marked "parking area". No clear markings of being towed for parking there. Got back to where my truck was a few hours later to find it gone, and a driver loading up another vehicle. Driver was nice enough, and did allow us to ride back with him, and stopped at an atm because all they would take is cash. Cost me $260 to get my truck back. I get that no one is happy about having their vehicle towed, but the markings on the area were not clear at all. Seemed a bit like entrapment, but not worth fighting it. As a result I would never consider patronizing the business there that the driver says just opened.
