These guys are great. I had just had my battery jumped by a AAA hired tow company that told me my battery was dead and only had 4% left and I should not turn off my car. The AAA representative, and I want to stress that they weren’t an employee of AAA rather one of the contracted tow companies, tried to sell me a $200 battery on the spot. This felt super shady to me and I declined. I went to O’Reilly auto parts Because it’s my trusted place and I know that they’ll test your battery for free.<br><br>If I was going to get a new battery, I wanted to see the reading myself and I wanted to purchase it from O’Reilly if that was the case.<br><br>The employee at this branch was super helpful and checked my battery, which, in fact was not at 4% and still had half a life to it. I’m glad I trusted my gut feeling that the tow guy was just trying to sell a battery and pocket money, And that I could go someplace where people actually wanted to help.<br><br>I didn’t need to buy a new battery. In fact I didn’t need to buy anything, but I’ll always come back to the store because of that interaction.
