Cost was decent up front but kept increasing. Never could have the lid partially opened without getting charged for a full week of service for 1 extra bag. Last statement went up $30. Called to cancel and they charge $54 to cancel. Absolutely ridiculous. Will never be using this service again. Even if they are the cheapest up front. They cost way more long term. We are happily switching back to ACE where I don’t have to worry that a partial lid open from half a garbage bag is costing me way more! To say your increase is related to fuel costs is ridiculous because the cost of fuel is down since we started. And not to mention they tried to cut my bill almost in half to get me to stay. We are still switching as the service isn’t great. I just had to request my recycling get picked up as it was missed yesterday.

Got an increase of 32% on the last bill. I have tried to get ahold of someone there for the last 3 business days and I sit on hold for a long time then “press 1” to have them call me back. They never have. Called a couple different places and they are cheaper than my old rate for a bigger can!

Made the decision to switch to a local company for a fraction (50%) less, and found out that republic was going to charge us $134 for trash and recycle can removal. This piece is exurban and SO unnecessary. I was paying way too much, for a smaller can with Republic- $59/mo and the smaller, local company offered us a deal and for 12 months we will only pay $200. Our regular monthly price will be $25 for trash and recycle, whereas we were paying $59.
